Not to be rude, but why exactly would this be necessary? Jello charges very fair prices for her art, the effort and time put into it is clearly displayed in the finished product and generous discounts are already given to club members. All artists work hard do develop unique ideas, collect appropriate stock, create the image and size it correctly, I don't see why first-time customers should be treated differently and receive free art. If the art is something you're interested in surely you'd be happy to pay for the service and happy to support the artist :) |

This is rude. If you can't afford her art, find another artist. To ask her to take her time and skill, and create you something, while you give her nothing in return is disrespectful. You can see all her work her; you know what you're getting. There is no reason for her to take the time and make you a free piece when there are plenty of people that appreciate her work and are more than willing to pay for quality art. We not only take time to search for stock and create a piece, but also take the time to learn this skill, and deserve to be paid for that. |

You know, there are plenty of other artists who do that sort of thing because it gives them practice. But, asking someone like Jello to do this really is just rude, exactly like Libster had said. She works her tail off to make each and every piece perfect for her purchaser, she deserves the effort of someone saving and ultimately investing in her work. Like I said before, if you really want free art and don't want to invest in Jello's work, than I guarantee you can find an artist who provides that service. |
