Alrighty, loves. This has been on my chest for a little bit- but after being bashed pretty hard on DA this morning by someone I barely even know, that left me nearly in tears, I need to express it. . This was finally the final straw. After a long and difficult decision, I'm going to start restricting orders from my shop to closer a "free reign" type setup. I don't want to completely cut out your guys' thoughts, so small "nudges" or suggestions are 100% fine. Certain colours, fantasy nudges, things as such- totally fine. But I'm also tired of getting people coming to me with this crazy specific, very complex, "need to be perfect" ideas that they won't release me from until I make eight changes. The more specific it is, the less creative breathing room I have, the more difficult it is to complete to my highest potential. And after getting bashed... . I don't do these for real money. That's not this community. And although they are "commissions," they aren't the typical commissions like what you see on DA. I don't get much out of these for my real life. I do them for fun, to make you guys happy, right? For a game that we all love, for our beloved pixel ponies. . My health has taken a pretty nasty turn, as well. In order to make time for everyone in my occasional free time, I need things to be less complex. I hope you all can understand. <3 |
