Is your iron low or high?
The Old Gods
keep in mind that blood tests are only a snapshot and blood levels can fluctuate during the course of the day
Silver Melody Acres
From some research, it seems B12 deficiency can cause low iron, so they might be trying to see if they can get two birds with one stone
Sunset River Arabian
I think I'm just a little worried she doesnt care or is ignoring an actual problem. I've yet to find a doctor who even listens to me during a visit without rushing me or making me feel small and dumb.

It's never a bad thing to discuss it more, or even get a second opinion. The thyroid stuff being on the low end is something to keep in mind. You can always start with the B12 and try to increase iron-rich foods in your diet, iron supplements are kind of iffy unless it's on doctor's orders
Sunset River Arabian
The iron ones are literally labeled with red flags and the other 2 are normal but low. I'd be confused why shes addressing that one first

Deadwood, they are like Pokemon, gotta collect 'em all lol. But they don't do anything, just a fun thing
Gaelic Gladiacres
Deadwood - just for fun but you get a little extra money as reward
Gaelic Gladiacres
She may also just want to see how changing one variable (B12) effects everything or comparing it against previous testing results to see if it's just your normal
deadwood dressage
Do showing titles do anything or are they just kinda fun little things
Silver Melody Acres
"Go exploring and have a horse earn elite bravery" Rude. I'm almost done testing my braves
Gaelic Gladiacres
Athena - absolutely I would push to be sure. Potentially get a second opinion. I can't count the number of times I've felt something wasn't right and eventually was vindicated. I don't think she's necessarily ignoring that they're low, but doctors are under so much stress and time constraints that if something is still in normal ranges they can decide it's not alarming enough to go deeper, or they'll miss things, or just don't have some knowledge that another doctor might have
Sunset River Arabian
I could use some opinions I had blood tests done. 2 iron related ones were too high, 1 was 2 low, B-12 was low and a thyroid one is normal but really low. My doctor is only addressing the B12 saying everything else looks fine. Should I push for her to address those other ones? Should I just accept my doctors expertise instead of looking for problems? Do you think she's purposely ignoring them? The whole point of running the test was to figure out whats causing my chronic fatigue and all of those ones have that as a symptom among other ones that I also experience daily.

I've been putting a little symbol in my horses's names when they earn one. Just so I can keep track
