I know the author and she is very involved with the production. She's working very hard to have #NoFakeWhinnies in the movie. The books are great. Some acquaintances are going to be extras.

Oh and the time I got yeeted into a fence panel by a colt I was breaking in. That one got me another 12 in the waiting room of the ER. The only time I got admitted immediately was when I was brought in by an ambulance and was literally bleeding out. Another horse accident believe it or not.

As someone with diabetes, hospitals suck, ER sucks even harder. I sat in one for 12 hours once with a super low sugar that wouldn’t stay up for nothing 🤦♀️

I will say, I don't think I've ever seen an actual average sized woman in a main role in a horse movie.

No, they just see something new and think it's food. They collectively share a single braincell between them and usually someone dropped it in the yard.

I don't really like hospitals all that much especially at a certain one which I refuse to get care there again. Back during covid 19 scare I was feeling so under the weather and severely dehydrated. Very dizzy and light headed so I went to get looked at. So I started at the walk in got transferred to the ER for fluids then they tested me for covid came back negative. Which I read my results on their online client portal. Im so uncomfortable and crying and asking if my husband can come back here. The doctor was so rude and told me no you have covid so he can't come back here. At this point I started talking back to the doctor that I seen my own test results and that they came back negative. Luckily the doctors switched because the next doctor came in immediately let my husband in and said I tested positive for mono not covid

I read that about guineas, that they are really good at alerting of trouble.
The Old Gods
There's a(nother) stray cat that's wandering around the place and anytime the guinea fowl see it, they start running towards it. It's honestly hilarious because they're like a bunch of thugs yelling that the cat's on the wrong side of the highway.
Jericho Stables
Last time I was here Oliver cut his hand with a knife and he needed to get a couple stitches. I think we broke a land speed record. We were in and out in like 45 minutes.
Cadence Farms
Yeah they don't have any sympathy for pain. They made me wait for a scan, and then for the radiologist to confirm the stone before they would give me any pain meds.
The Feral Equine
Sadly with health care in the state its in currently I think wait times are only going to get worse
Gaelic Gladiacres
me too when I had a cyst, eve (I felt like I was constantly being stabbed)
Cadence Farms
They will keep you forever in the ER. I was there 8 hours one time for a kidney stone.
Gaelic Gladiacres
jeri - it certainly can be. unfortunately that sort of time is pretty average for "not immediately bleeding out" at an urgent care :(
