Going to mess around with mushrooms a bit on my side. My jumpers may eventually have it on my main but unlikely for ages.

No problem, Starbound! There are also some guides in the forums that explain it in better detail, such as which weeks are important and so on. I wish you lots of luck on the 1st :D

@Raven Oh no, I totally agree with you about geldings having no real benefits except for being an income... and thanks for explaining to me how to match a horse properly, since the 1st will be my 1st-ever matching.

Yes, its usually done so you can match horses with each other for breeding. If your horse has a certain weakness, you want to breed it with a horse who is strong in that trait. It's not that it's bad to track geldings or anything like that, it's just a extra work for little to no benefit. Thats how I see it at least.

@Raven Okay, I thought that’s what happens when it comes to RO, since I've been reading the chat off and on for months, but never actually joining until yesterday, and from what you're saying, it sounds like people prefer not to track their gelding's training, and that it's only used more towards mares and stallions that you plan on using for breeding?

You are right that stuff resets on the 1st of every month. Horses age and can breed again. It's often referred to as RO (roll over). I'm not as sure about the first question, since I don't track gelding training. But it's true that all born foals start with 1 bar in each stat (wild horses are caught with 3 bars in each). An ungelded PEP wouldn't normally have 5/6 up week 4, but gelding them makes them train faster, so I'd think that checks out :)

Can someone help me determine this gelding's training? I bought him yesterday with a week 4 of 212222, and I heard that all foals start with 1 bar, so would his week 4 be 212222, or is what I was told incorrect? -HEE Click- Also, I was told that all breeding resets on the 1st of every month. Is that also true?
