The one thing I can't get over is the price of cobs in the US (I think you guys call them vanners). Admittedly they are more expensive in the UK now, but back in the day they were literally dirt cheap

Ash - I find it the same out here. English horses (warmbloods and sport horses) sell for a little more I find. Nothing fancy plod around family horses that need maintenance start at around 8k

@AL Oh! lol I didn't read it yet. XD I'm making new tabs of the pretty ones...

Wonder why it’s so different? Prices in the UK shot up during Covid (as I’m sure they did everywhere). Sane/sensible allrounders are 10-15k now, once you’re in the 15k+ bracket you are looking at something really athletic/talented

I look into the Volpino Italiano dog as well, AL. All I got is a stuff animal Arctic Fox. I feed it, walk it, talk with it, and play fetch.

I worked at a jumping barn. I knew the horses were expensive, they imported them to Canada then winterted in florida. However when I saw a sale ad for one for the first time I choked. They wanted 200K + for a mare I was grooming over the fall

I think volpino italiano looks more like an arctic fox than the ones mentioned
Gypsy Family Farm
I'm here to help. Heck, if I could keep him, I'd look at him for myself. ;P

Thanks, Glacier. I might buy a American Eskimo Dog since I can't have an Arctic Fox as an pet.
