I put these up as ideas for the pony and riding club show classes: Pony Club Classes: Under 11's Lead Rein Best Turned Out Best Show Pony Fancy Dress Riding Club Classes: Dressage Cross Country Show Jumping As for a weekly / monthly calendar we could have gymkhana for the pony club, and perhaps both clubs could join together once a year and do a charity ride. |

Yes, I was thinking they could do the same events some of the time. I was thinking we could also add things like Day Rides, Fun Rides, Trail Hunting (not proper hunting), Pony Camp (Probably for Pony club, and not as likely for riding club) Maybe weekend riding holidays or something for the riding club. There could also be non riding events like a trip to the grand national or badminton horse trials or Horse of the year show, olympia, the olympics. They could be for both clubs. Or maybe Pony club could stay in the country and Riding club could go to international events as well. |

That sounds great. Perhaps keep the trail hunting for the riding club only, as some of the pony club will be pretty young and maybe on lead reins. Pony camp for the youngsters sounds like fun though! And I really want to go on one of those riding holidays! lol |

Yes, I know what you mean about having little kids as part of the pony club, though I have seen older kids go hunting, so maybe there could be an age limit and they have to be accompanied or something. Yes, I'd come with you on one of those riding holidays!! |

Perhaps Grace and Dixie could be useful as brood mares. In all honesty most people aren't using the club horses, but they are raising some funds for future prizes. As for the colts or stallions Ebol Wen has a geld quest, happy to buy for 1000 then geld and sell on for 1000, no pressure though, no rush for the quest. |

I'm just thinking of where to go with my story next. I think I'm going to write a kind of new chapter as I got a bit stuck. I'm wandering whether to write about a show. I've already written about 2 Old mill shows, so maybe I'll do Haven County to make it a bit different. Is anyone else ready to write about a show? Well I'm not going to get to writing the actual day for a week or so. I think I'm going to only write about a few classes to keep it simple, even though there maybe others going on. With Old mill show, I wrote about all the classes and it seemed to go on forever. I think nearer the time when I get closer to writing about the show day, I'll just need a few horses and riders from you, who will be in each class, like we did in Old Mill Show. |
