I'm going back to shedding dogs after Thor because running the vacuum daily is easier than the home grooming and the haircuts

My mother in law doesnt groom her dogs hair. She gets it shaved every spring. Hes an outdoor farm dog and gets matted by fall and stays like that all winter long

Daisy is a poodle/old english sheep dog. She's got the dense OESD hair with the poodle curl. She loved to get groomed and will lay down for mom to brush her. She'll still mat, and pretty much just stays shaved because of that and because she'll track in half the dirt in the yard

His hair is a combination of bichon and lhasa and it is funky as hell

I have a nonshed constantly matting dog who gets brushed regularly, and I still have to do my own trims in between expensive grooming trips

My current dog sheds very little and I appreciate that quite a bit. I've considered a Dalmatian in the future, but if I did I'd have to accept clouds of white hair on *everything*

Some dogs will just mat up, regardless of how often they're brushed

Yep, if you're too dam lazy to take 15 minutes to run a brush over your dog once a day (at least) then get a short haired breed for god sakes.

2/3 dogs I've owned as and adult have been double coat breeds. Just saying, the under coat blowout season is always fun lol

Like oh yeah he is matted again, just shave him down like always

I just don't understand when owners know the dog is getting matted every time and act like it is normal and put in no effort to change it.

Worst I ever saw was a sheltie with such a tightly matted coat it bruised her skin :( and talon toes of course

One of the neighbors had a golden retriever outside 24/7 in a kennel with a cable and a training collar the dog's coat was severely matted and animal control was called

Sorry for my absence. Depression. 👍

What are all of the brain people up to at this moment? Want to know what's going on so I can come up with some shit to do with you. I need to finally decide on something to do to include my team in this for a change. I've been more of an inconvenient bystander in my time here over the years.

No worries. Everything has slowed down a fair bit, so your characters could probably be thrown essentially anywhere. Let me know who you decide to keep/add, and if I can work with them in any way.

Getting rid of Brit. Might redo her and put her back in at some point but not planning on it right now. I reworked Dublin a decent bit on my own and he doesn't fit as well anymore so I'm not sure how much I'll be using him in the future. But I'll keep him in just in case. I'm wanting to use Silas/Su-Jin the most. I don't think I had anything lined up for him yet but honestly I cant remember. Just like I can't really remember which of your guys' characters are active right now. Could I get a refresher so I can throw out some ideas? Or if someone wanted him for something already that's fine too.

I'm also giving a tentative notice of returning, of which I am happy to announce should begin about tomorrow or so. I'll read through the new posts, see what's where and then update up on what I'll do.

Pleasantly, I've decided to try and rework my shattered nerves by doing some more workouts, and try some meditation. Any advice for the latter?

I apologize for being so very inactive from this thread, just been struggling with life but I'm doing a lot better for now.
Here's a link to a revamp of an old role of mine if anyone is interested in joining and I'll try to get a post out on the thread.

The least worries possible, Asp <3 I think everyone is on a bit of a lull right now, and there's no pressure to make writing here a priority. Take care of yourself <3

If you do feel like writing, I'm always up to scheme something. Just let me know :)
