I have a 3 month old that sleeps in a bassinet, just feet away from my bed. She use to sleep with us though as a newborn, her favorite way to sleep was on her side.

The day I had her the doctors kept saying "go to bed" and every time I'd fall asleep they barged in and woke me up... At one time I had 7 doctors rush in at one time and nearly told me I may need an emergency c section not the best talk to have half asleep at 3am
