I've updated the map and the info on the 'Havenshire - The people and the places' page. Let me know if you're all happy with it or if you want something added or altered.
I also added a section for Clubs & Associations. We'll need to add some names for the positions, I thought that perhaps we could each have someone on the Haven County Show committtee, it could add something extra to our blogs. We can also work out some classes for that show, it'll be the biggest in the county, we can hold lots of smaller shows elswhere if we want to. Haven Riding Club - for 16's and over Haven Pony Club - for under 16's Haven County Show Committee - President: TBC, Chairperson: TBC, Secretary: TBC Rare breeds Association - President: Richard Melbury, Chairperson: Bronwen Evans If you can think of any others to add to this list just let me know.
Only other thing missing is the owner's name from Ludbury Stables. Edited at November 16, 2020 03:28 AM by Ebol Wen Stables

I have an building called Havenshire Emporia which houses a lot of artisans selling their stock though some of the workshops are elsewhere. This name can be changed if you both think it is not suitable - trying to go old school with the name & didnt want lots of little individual shops dotted around as products are not all horsey. They can discuss their crafts and, to keep stock levels up, sell on each others behalf. Needs to be situated near the tourist trek to sell lots of stuff. They can have stalls at the county show as well.

I have added this to the 'Other places of interest' section: 'Havenshire Emporia - Artisan Crafts' Is that ok? Do you want it shown on the map or is it ok just added to the list of places? P.s. Bronwen's Breeds has just got a new horse, Suffolk Punch. :D Edited at November 16, 2020 09:10 AM by Ebol Wen Stables

Yes! Good Idea Ebol Wen!! Yes, I had thought of getting those things up and running, but not got around to it yet!! For rare breeds, could you add Kayleigh Barton please? Though I don't know what position she would be. Yes, Haven County Show needs to be quite big. I'm not sure whose on the commitee yet, I'll let you know later!! The classes could be more established if thats the right word. Like, as well as have the rare breeds class, we could have a cob class, a miniture class, a heavy horse class. Like more specific classes, though not too specific as we'd end up with 1 in each class!! Then there will be show jumpng, dressage and cross country. Carriage driving, side saddle, Working Hunter (not sure if that would be any difference) Then there could be a mounted police performance, or stunt performance. Haven Pony Club and Riding Club could do something, not sure about a performance or could be gymkhana. They could also do there own dressage/jumping/cross country classes. And yes, I haven't got around to Ludbury's staff and owner just yet. I ran out of ideas of who they could be!! Will do it as soon as possible though!! Great work Follyfoot!! I might be being daft but what does your shop sell? Also, just come up with another idea for a character. Maybe there's a textiles designer who makes there own horse stuff like jodhpurs, rugs and any material stuff. Maybe not leather stuff, as that's kind of a saddlers job. They'll probably be coming into my story shortly, so I'll update you in a bit!! Ebol Wen Stables said: I've updated the map and the info on the 'Havenshire - The people and the places' page. I've written another blog. I would call this one 'a must read'. It's Havenshire (11) in the Havenshire 3 folder. I'm about to write another maybe so you might have to look for it!!

what about a tourist agency where tours can be booked for the castle jousting tournaments, raptor displays near Abraxan, farm tours with alpaca walks, watching the artisans at work with taster days to see if the watchers want to do as hobby - 1 day bi-monthly, sealife by boat, ghostwalks, wildlife day/evening tours or amalgamating the horse guided tours and other places of interest. if people come to the area they can recommend b&b's or stays in a yurt rather than expensive hotels if on a budget. they could also promote local / county shows as forthcoming events but what happens at the show could be reported by holly & paige. Anything else you can think of?

Great blogs from both of you, thanks for sharing. :) Wyldewoodland Estate said: what about a tourist agency where tours can be booked for the castle jousting tournaments, raptor displays near Abraxan, farm tours with alpaca walks, watching the artisans at work with taster days to see if the watchers want to do as hobby - 1 day bi-monthly, sealife by boat, ghostwalks, wildlife day/evening tours or amalgamating the horse guided tours and other places of interest. if people come to the area they can recommend b&b's or stays in a yurt rather than expensive hotels if on a budget. they could also promote local / county shows as forthcoming events but what happens at the show could be reported by holly & paige. All great ideas, I like them.

Thanks! That's great about that breed, they'll be very useful in the future! Wyldewoodland Estate said: These do not need to go on the map Tall Tale Travels -Tourist Agency Twitta & Hoots Raptor Centre Fran's Farm - Alpaca's Noah's Ark Petting Zoo Aquatic Rendezview - sealife tours
All added to the 'other places of interest' on the characters page, Kayleigh Barton has also been added as the Rare Breeds secretary. I won't have room to add all of these things on the club page, but that's why we have 'The people and the places' forum thread.
