As I have understood, I train my foals/free range horses in AD, if they get two or more same ratings, to see what they are strongest in. Then after identifying what is their strongest traits I enter them into SD

@gren ty! I have an EWE that looks like she could spec into XC but since she can do the rest ig it's no problem to stay on AD training (even if that's slower?)

If the horse is EEE+ AD
If the horse only has a one good rating so E+ SD

If they're being bred for AD, keep them in AD. If they're for SD, train them in SD from the start

speaking of training, is there a consensus that foals should be trained in AD the first few sessions to see how they do or if a horse has a higher SD start training that from the start?

I'd show him! Those 2 extra bars make up for the heart so he should place decent

This is the horse that I placed onto cross country training, but his only strong trait seems to be Spd, so I was wondering if it was a waste of time for him to train cross country, when he could be doing jumping

Yo I got a HEE question: I have heard from somewhere that Hrt is very important for cross country (so for example, if Hrt is level 2 while Spd and Str are level 3, your horse still won't do well). Is this true?

Went to your profile page, and was happy to see your snakes there! Think I know which one is Athena, and if she is the third photo she is very pretty!

But yeah I feel you about the vet visits xD. I had pet rats, and giving them oral syringes was already so challenging! Could not imagine being able to give them needle syringes haha. Pets can be so meanπŸ˜…

You can attempt to to request Arlette, but I think you'll have better luck with Kara and Olivia 😂

Rena is the closest to my most personal facet of my personality that I have ever written. Notice I said 'most personal facet' loooollll I have a lot of personalities. Being an enneagram 3 is almost perpetual identity crisis. She is very, very close to what I think is my base personality though, somewhere near the core of my being wherever that is lol.

i'm just gonna insert some info into this rena post as if she knows personality typology because that's a language i am more than fluent in and i can't find the right way to say what i want to without getting technical lol. do any of you guys know your mbti/enneagram? i've typed you all which shouldn't come as a shocker but i wonder if you already know what you are? i never tell people until they know because i don't like to sway results. it's a whole thing.

yeah, figures! i'm a ni dom, so basically inxj with equal levels of feeling and thinking. my enneagram 3 creates pragmatism that balances t/j, but both types are known to do the whole chameleon thing so i am whoever i need to be at any given moment. i mistype soooo frequently, i retake the test a lot to gauge how off balance i am. but basically i can thank all of the psychological flexibility and identity crisis for the really diverse group of characters i write which i am not complaining about at all. i love being this way, i just have to be really self aware and know when i'm off. it also helps to be able to type people. if you took the enneagram, your highest numbers would likely be 1, 5, and 6. :)
