wanted to keep everyone in the loop. This is just an idea but if we had several islands like Florida keys, or those sandbar things in dubai or islands off borneo. MM could be linked by sandbars to the mainland and the other islands instead of in the grounds of WWL. Only accesible by low tide. ?? Haford could then still be linked by horse/foot bridge only. islands would be too small for ferries but we could have a motorised dinjyee (dinghy) with boathouse at the estuary for goods - monthly food runs or have a heliport for that sort of thing. One of my grooms at MM has lost his job recently as an air traffic controller. his details will be blogged later today as have others to finalise.

Hi, I won't be online til monday now, apart from checking mails. I've been updating my 2 accounts, Ashwell and Chaddlefield, though still not finished either of them. I have all my horses on Ashwell. Its going to be a stud for Merrigans and Havenshires. I'll just have to sort riders on that account. I've not got so far on Chaddlefield, but hope to continue next week! Have a good weekend! See you Monday!!

Its a good idea to have a few islands. I've already written about an island called St Barnabas, its where Ashwell Farm is. Its quite big, it has its own town, probably the size of another small county. We could have a couple of other islands if you wanted, like the chanel islands. Though there is a ferry to St Barnabas, and there would probably be a helicopter and plane too. Moonacre Manor said: wanted to keep everyone in the loop. I have made a rough map on Inkarnate, unfortunately I'd done most of it before we talked about more islands, so I will make another when we've got everyone in place. I can cut off the North and add some extra islands to the South. I can also move Ebol Wen and Ynys Hafod up the West coast if need be. The main river didn't turn out exactly where I wanted it so it might move slightly.
I've placed Tredon and friends, but can easily move them if you want. (Sorry, I misses the 'H' in Ashwell! lol)
I have added in 12 place markers which you can choose from for your stables and other areas, or you can choose another areaa. Let me know roughly where you want your stables to be and what you want on your land and I will try to do another next week.
When finished I'll add borders to each area and paint them in the stable colours, I've done Ynys (Bryn) Hafod, as an example but it's a bit pale, I will edit that next time.
Beach? Mountain? Hill? River? Forest? Island? Moor? Lake? Edited at September 19, 2020 06:44 AM by Ebol Wen Stables

Just gave myself a turn as looked at the members for haven and thought CQE had lost a member. Took me a second to realise they are not in this club! The map is brilliant !!! Wyldewoodland Estate @ 6 please, only got as far as isolation blocks away from main stables, a swimming area & horsewalker. In the forest surrounding WWL a couple of glades. Trys to be Self-sufficient growing arable crops, veg, sugar beet, linseed etc. Need a large medical block too though do you want or need all these things to show on map? Kynyav Koes Krowji = Autumn tree cottage WWL staff house @ 5 or is that too faraway not sure of scale but want a couple of miles from estate. moor @ 3 with Dyowles Carn = she-devil’s tomb is on the moor (let you decide where) Follyfoot @ 4 has a fruit orchard large enough for treats for horses & sell to community & three yurts for holidays When available buys horse feed from WWL. profits go to help fund WWL. Koes Chi = Forest House - Follyfoot accommodation on the point between 3&4 gogo hal bal @ 2 = unless you can think of a better name (cave moor mine) Marrack Gloyne village - tres medyk farm vets @ 7 Lowarth Krowji (Garden Cottage) on the outskirts of Haven. Anywhere you like Hamlet of Nans Ceffyl (Valley of Horse) = Vets for Follyfoot @ 1 lighthouse @ 11 or thereabouts Moonacre Manor could be an island somewhere around 11 with sandbars therefore the need for a lighthouse. has a beach & boathouse for dinghy. no roads - all horse conveyance on the island via covenant - buckboard for carrying supplies. no use for ferry as water too shallow but deep enough for horse swims. search & rescue helicopeter station @10 - have escaped horses from MM who try swimming at high tide RSPCA wildlife sanctuary somewhere in the 11 area also area between 1 & Tredon is that moorland? - I hope so I like the area around 1-4 including river with the college and the bit around 11. Could have a mountain somewhere in the range of PBC Happy where lakes situated unless you want to move them though please keep a lake near cave for poisoning story - giving all my secrets away? That should keep you busy - I hope I havent made it too difficult for you? Those are just my initial longwinded thoughts :)

I have named the RSPCA Sanctuary, Goelann Als (Seagull Cliff) sorry forgot this one - 2 bed semi-detached dwelling – Meirionnydd Cottage within the grounds of the Wyldewoodland Estate. and Tre Medhyk is the correct spelling of the vets farm. Edited at September 20, 2020 06:12 AM by Follyfoot Farm

I have a great idea for my patch, a beautiful secluded area stretching from the valley up into the Haven Hills with a lake and small woods. Edited at September 19, 2020 05:46 PM by Harmony

Map isn't really going to be to scale, just a rough guide for us to know where we all are and to give us an idea of our surroundings and ideas for stories.
Same with all the little details, I don't think we need to put too everything on there. We can write the details into the descriptions of each of our stables and the surrounding area.
Inkarnate is more for fantacy maps, so buildings are difficult. I can put in a castle, a city with towers (fairytail style) or a group of small buildings but have no option for others, or at least not with the free account. I will put the buildings on each property and dot a few more around the map for reference. I can add names to the most relevant. I can do bridges, but not roads. A lighthouse is not available, however I could add a sea dragon! lol We will just have to describe the location of lightouses and other buildings.
The darker patch above Tredon is Gwanwyn Moor, and the green land to the East is farmland.
I will add some small islands for Moonacre Manor off the coast at 11, I'm not sure how the sandbars will look, but I will try. I'll wait until Tredon has seen the map and chosen her spaces before making the next one though. I will have to start from scratch so any changes are not a problem.

L O V E the Sea Dragon idea. and a castle Decided to copy & paste this from conversation with Ebol Wen so that everything stays in one place and she doesn' have to search all over for the ideas for map/stories. I tend to be a butterfly and thoughts are put on messages from anywhere to anyone - sorry. - Been thinking about the area around Pen Bryn College as quite hilly could have a few valleys (though I don't suppose if little they have to show) and a band of wild/feral equines. They could be called Tonteynes (not sure if you know that a tontine is an old word for secret society) The stally could entice some of the mares from the college. Team up to do a wild west round up to retrieve the mares?? As you said the band could also traverse the moor. Could be a naughty stally and roam all over mainland collecting mares. I feel I have monopolised the key points on the map so feel free to move my stuff around if you and Tredon want a particular area.

I thought perhaps I'd put a castle in Haven town and maybe use one for the college. All the buildings will be very small as you can see with the ones I've done in Haven, so it probably won't matter much that they are a little 'fantacy'!
Valleys within the Haven Hills is a good idea, I'll try to add some greener paths between the mountains.
As for the key points on the map I've so far left Tredon, Ashwell and Chaddlefield bare other then the moor and the farmland until Tredon gets to see the map and can let me know what landmarks she wants.
I've set out Harmony's patch the way I want it but will probably add a little more around Ebol Wen and on Ynys Hafod.
I don't think we need to label the vets and that type of place, I'll just pop a few buildings in the area and we can say 'to the North of the moor' or 'on the North West coast' and so on. There will also be some villiages dotted about when it's done, so I could label them and we could refer to specific areas in that way. I know there are a few villiages around Tredon and also Ebol Wen, we can add those as we go.
