LOL thanks! My favorite day of the week and also the most exhausting XD Today is especially long.

The best days usually are Lol.I feel like this is a really stupid question,But what do you do? Nothing much ever really happened at my church up the road,so being young and easily bored i kind of fell out of love with going.

On a different note, I will try my hardest to get up a Liv post today, but it'll probably only come on Thursday or (possibly) Wed. Have two dance exams in the next two days, so most of my energy will be contributed to stressing about it xD

So, I'm a workaholic (we also know this) and I also cannot sit still (plus if I do I fall asleep so that's bad) so I serve in like two trillion ministries. I've fallen in love with faith via service to others and evangelism through music, writing, and conversation. That being said, I'm at church for a solid 4-6 hours between all of the ministries, COVID makes it longer because we have to get there early to seat people and be seated in a socially distanced manner. Some of my jobs are actually in the mass or service, some are not. I'm apart of multiple worship teams, I'm a lector (reader) and an extraordinary minister (which is a fancy way to say the head priest ordained me to give people Jesus in bread/body form), sometimes I sit people (usher) and if we get really tight on people I may serve as a mass coordinator, which means I make sure everyone else does their jobs and shows up, but technically I'm not of legal age for that one LOL. Then mass aside, I work with youth/peers in different programs, overseeing small groups of people my age and younger and contributing to faith discussions based on whatever the theme/activities are of that night. I also plan our retreats with the actual youth minister and give talks and stuff all the time, which is really fun. I'm dying to get back out on mission, though, COVID had me stuck home this summer.

In saying all of this, there are sooo many places to serve. I think you've said before you're musically inclined, that is my favorite ministry and a good one to start with! Less pressure if you find the right team. You also have to find the right church for you, the local one is never the right one, and that's said from someone who drives an hour and change to church all the time LOL. My faith story begins a lot like yours sounds now, and I would be happy to share it if you want! I don't want to overwhelm you though! And, I have a real gift for finding people churches, so if you want help on that account feel free to shoot me some mail! Also, Tangler is my Jesus buddy on here, I'm sure she might have some insight too? She has a very different and equally awesome church setup so she may have other feedback.

I don't know what denomination you are, but I highly recommend Hillsong. SOOOO many resources, they make my heart SOOO happy. Very contemporary style, amazing guidance/preaching, great resources, lots of money which means lots of ways to help you. I can't say enough about these guys, they rock. I wish I had one near me XD
