I guess it just depends on the boot, I just don't know how I'm going to find a good pair that I like for under 90 dollars, I'm a very particular person and I'm shocked I've been able to find at least 2 pairs I like
Gaelic Gladiacres
12:35:51 Gladius
gen - it depends honestly, some can be inexpensive and not cheap, others can be expensive and cheap. most of the time you should be able to expect to get what you paid for but ultimately it's gonna be a gamble if you don't try them on first either way. my ariats have lasted me forever and seem to be one of the few riding boots that fit me well (I just wish they were wider in the toes) but then chey said theirs fell apart in 2 months
Shamrock Equines
12:35:18 Crowley
My black ones were $190 when I got them.

I've been trying to get my dad to buy me them as he's forgot to get me gifts for my past 2 birthdays and last Christmas, he just keeps complaining about the price though. am I crazy for thinking that the cheaper the boots the more likely they are to be shit?
Sunset River Arabian
12:31:13 Athena - AA/TB
I like Justin's for barn boots. Ariat, Tony Lamas and Lucchese are my favorite brands for higher end boots
Shamrock Equines
12:30:44 Crowley
I'd go in and try them on before buying them Gen

I recommend Justin. When I got Ariats, they full apart is 2 months.

@Anna, what brand do you like?
Sweet Valley
12:27:41 Anna/Jewel
ariats are bricks to my feet. to hard of an insert
Hummingbird Meadows
12:26:59 Bird
My feet are so flat I had to get sole inserts so my feet would fit in any boots, but ariat was the most comfotable out of all the boot brands I tried at boot barn.
Shamrock Equines

If you want barn boots I suggest muck boots. If you're set on cowboys I suggest going to a store that sells them and have people who know what they are doing.

Boot barn is where we get boots in idaho. In texas we used to go to Cavenders

Crowley, any suggestions on picking a brand or pair to buy? I've been looking at boot barn but I don't know if they'll hold up because they're a large company

So guys, I've decided to finally do lessons again xD Here's the schedule:

Before 10 am: Free to do whatever you like. Apart from break the rules :) Breakfast at 8 am

10:00 am: Hunter lesson with Tristan. It is suggested for the eventers to join, but it is only obligatory for hunters. You will ride your own horse

11:00 am: Dressage lesson with Kholo. Everyone MUST take part, due to the absence of so many instructors. This will be ridden on your school horses, and will take place in the indoor arena

12:00 pm: 10 minutes to groom your horses & tack up.

12:10 pm: Cross-country lesson with Keenan. This is on your own horses and is on the shorter cross-country course. Suitable gear is a must. Obligatory for all eventing, XC and racing riders. The others may join, but are not forced to.

1:20 pm: Untacking & grooming of horses. Feel free to change / shower in this time

1:40 pm: Lunch

2:00 pm: Bus leaves to the nearby town. To join, you must confirm beforehand. If you decide to stay, you may explore some of the many trails or just chill

5:15 pm: Bus returns. You may change / shower in this period of time.

5:30 pm: Group trail ride on either schoolhorses or your own. Packed supper will be taken, while students may bring snacks as well. This is obligatory for ALL riders, regardless of your discipline.

7:20 pm: Arrive back at the stables. Untack and groom your horses. Horses may stay in the barn or the pastures at night, depending on the weather.

8:00 pm: Movie showing in the common room. Popcorn and drinks are available.

10:00 pm: Everyone in their dorms.

10: 15 pm: Lights out

Sorry for all of the details >_< Got a little carried away
