Ooh definitely food for thought then North, thank you! Im not hand showing at the minute as ive just got SD geldings in the BM but it would be nice to actually make use of the other 700 odd horses ive got sitting around haha

I agree, I don't have time for all of that tracking training etc. It is dead simple, I rarely bring in horses, I breed my own. I train in AD until they are 6 and then in SD. Check that the riders are of the right level and show 3 times a week, simples.

i did a similar program on my side account that i used solely for showing and also always made super good profits
to start i bought horses only levels 3+ in training because they made more profit quicker, but once you have some money in the bank you can breed your own
I feel like people complicate showing too much
North Street
02:47:26 North
7 Day Profit: 307,741 (with fewer than 200 horses)
I am a free stable which makes a big difference as there is more competition among premium stables.

Do you really North?! I've not heard of many people doing that- do you mind me asking how much profit you make that way? I only do it for my futurity foals but it would be an interesting plan to try with all stock
North Street
02:41:22 North
I show my horses 3 times a week from birth, regardless of training, I make a good profit and I am always near the top of the LB
Minerva
02:38:10 Min
@Rocky- they're ready to show when they have 2 bars of training for every level in each of the three stats for the chosen discipline. So a 1yo would be ready around week 4 or 5 depending on their training. Dressage uses MVT, INT & STR; XC uses HRT, SPD & STR and SJ uses HRT, SCP & SPD

Name: Harrison 'Harry' Bishop

Gender: male

Age: 19

Job: stablehand

Appearance: Stands at about 6'2", fairly fit but still petite, very dark skin, dark eyes, cleanly-cut black hair, generally well-groomed.

Personality: Harry is the most polite young man you will ever come across. He's slow to anger and quick to calm down, as well as genuinely fair and impartial in most situations. However, he is very afraid of confrontation and is generally quite shy, as well as being a huge pushover. He's easily overpowered, but has his moments of standing up for himself and others. He's very well educated, but keeps to himself even when with close friends. He's very dedicated to his sport and absolutely adores anything to do with horses, becoming a chatty ball of excitement when he is able to talk about them.

Discipline: Show Jumping

Side Discipline (up to 2): Hunters, Eventing

Father: Frank Bishop

Mother: Alice Bishop

Siblings: Stephen Bishop (younger brother, 12)

Horse: Echolocation

Riding Level:

Backstory: Born in Britain to two very well respected equestrians, Harry's introduction to the horse world was early. His father was a top competitor at London's most prestigious Dressage stable and his mother was a Show Jumping trainer with a side job as the founder of a tack company. Harry began taking serious riding lessons when he was five after having learned the basics before he was even three. His first horse was a 15.3hh gelding named Phantom, and the two dominated the Hunter/Jumper arena together. Upon entering high school, fiery palomino mare named Rowena took him into the Eventing ring. When he graduated school, Harry moved to the United States to take advantage of his love for horses at White Oaks Equestrian Centre.

Romantic Status: single

GF/BF: N/A

Likes: fruit, being clean, cooking, learning Spanish, helping others, sci-fi TV shows/books/movies, having too many saddle pads

Dislikes: seafood, hospitals, his contact lenses, cleaning, classical music, topics discussing space or injuries, having too many saddle pads

Riding Experience: 14 years

Preferred School Horse: whichever is available, preferably a massive warmblood with a goofy but dedicated personality

Other: waffles with ice cream!

Show Name: Echolocation

Barn Name: Louie

Gender: stallion

Breed: Dutch Warmblood

Appearance: Massive, standing at 17hh. Coat is entirely black save two white socks on his hind legs and a star + snip on his face. Very muscular and well built for Dutch Warmblood standards.

Age: 7 years

Personality: Louie's very neutral. He's rather curious, but is also extremely obedient. He rarely has his ears back, unless he's trying to defend his food from another horse. He's relatively lazy, especially after eating, but loves a good bit of exercise when he's finally awake. He's a friendly horse, but can be a bit nibbly because of his innate curiosity.

Likes: rolling around in sand, cantering, being in the sun, Pringles (don't tell the vet), country music

Dislikes: apples, other horses around him when he's eating, fireworks, paper bags, birds, the rain

Owner: Harrison Bishop

Discipline: Show Jumping

Achievements: WIP

Other:
