Backstory: Luka grew up in a small town in Conneticut, and moved to Kentucky at 5. He then moved to Colorado at 7 then moved back to Conneticut at 8, then back to Kentucky at 9, and settled with Seattle when he was 10, so it's clear he's moved a lot. He started riding at, what, one year old? Instead of being made fun of, Luka was praised for riding horses and a lot of kids were jealous so they started riding too to step him up, but they couldn't. Luka was supposed to have a baby brother, but his mom had a m*sc*rrige and sadly lost the baby, but Luka fought through it to become the boy he is today.

Training experience: Relatively little in terms of humans, although he's offered quite a few showjumping workshops. Much more experienced with horses, so this'll be quite a change for him.

Appearance: Conrad is a tall, muscular man, with wavy blonde hair that falls just past his shoulders. This is generally either in a bun (terribly tied despite years of practice) or a plait, as he hates it in his face. He has dark green eyes with a yellow tint towards the pupil, though he usually stays far enough away from people for no one to notice. Broad shoulders, muscled but not ripped. His skin is a shade darker than his natural fair skintone, covered in light freckles from his time spent in the sun.

Personality: Conrad is a focused, competitive and distant person. He definitely tends to be overly controlling and can freak out if there's something that no one/thing can control. He's icily sarcastic and definitely has a cold sense of humor, jokes often at the conversee's expense. Don't even try laughing, it'll simply merit you a glare and cold silence. Has an undeniable 'I'm better than you' attitude, but in a sense that he won't linger with other people rather than actively stating this fact. (Riding-wise, this attitude isn't utterly unfounded)This is partly because he views most people as unnecessary distractions, as well as the aforementioned pride. Hates physical touch and seeing public displays of affection. He does have a caring streak - this is usually buried, dormant, beneath all of his other unlikeable personality traits.

Backstory: Conrad grew up on a stud farm focused solely on breeding future top jumpers. His family owned and ran it, something that he both enjoyed and despised. His childhood was unhappy - not because of any direct outward factors, but rather because of the way his and his father's personalities clashed. He maintained a good relationship with his mother and older brother James, but distanced himself from the two remaining siblings (Cameron and Sebastian)

At the age of eighteen and equipped with two untrained three year olds, he began showing his family's horses to gain experience on the show circuit, as well as to up the value of the horses. Soon (as in multiple years xD) He was riding on the international circuit, now a prominent figure in the Australian and international showjumping communities alike. For the first two years or so, James and him showed together, gaining a notorious reputation as the Fairfield brothers, for their daredevil speed and delicate jumps. They parted ways once their showing schedules shifted, but still met up every now and then at some of the larger shows.

Personality: Ver is an intelligent, slightly haughty mare. She learns very quickly, but turns beast if she gets bored. Otherwise she's a forgiving mount, although she needs a sympathetic rider. Quick to adjust to new surroundings and people, making her an ideal show horse. Very athletic, but tends to struggle with water jumps.

Name: Reginald Sawyer – Reggie.

Gender: Male.

Age: 24

Appearance: At 5’11, Reggie is a fairly tall guy with a kind, open face that is usually smiling. His hair is mousy soft and is trimmed down to a decent length where he can run his hands through it, but it isn’t too long. He inherited a lot of his father’s appearance with the light brown hair and the tall, straight nose but has small elements of his mother’s gentle looks in the startlingly brilliant blue eyes, the narrow lips and the awkward dimple on his left cheek.

Reggie is toned but is very slender and tends to watch his weight, keeping it as low as is healthy for his own personal reasons. He also has embarrassingly pale skin that neither tans nor burns, so he usually is the white ghost in the summer and is also the easiest person to see the emotions of. The slightest blush covers his whole neck and cheeks in a split moment like a plague. And his anger is discernable from miles away with the red face and piercing frown.

Personality: Reggie is a very open and outgoing kind of guy for the most part and has a huge heart for people and animals alike. Despite that, his speech can still be awkward, with words tumbling out in a way that wasn’t quite how he intended it to be delivered. Don’t be fooled though, he is also very witty and has enough humour for years away. A massive fan of sports, he enjoys having a workout buddy or just talking about different sports in general.

Despite that, Reggie is also very precise and likes having structure and order in his life. He isn’t a fan of mess of any kind and has a bad mix of stubborn jackass and determined idiot floating through those veins. He is an early bird and regularly pushes himself to do better, because he can and also because he is a dumbo who thinks his worth is from his talent.

Backstory: Reggie was born in Hamburg, Germany and was basically raised around horses because of his mother, who also competed on horses. Up until he turned seventeen, he travelled through levels with his own, old gelding, whom he retired to his younger brother as an under 90cm ride. Thereafter, Reggie moved to Britain with his then-new stallion, Gambler, to progress his career. As he became more successful, Reggie decided to enter Loca, then five, into the European Championships.

Much to his misfortune, Loca had a spook and shied away, ploughing through a jump with Reggie who was being dragged by the stirrup. After some time, Loca leapt over the fence at the edge of the ring and was caught. In short, Reggie ended up in hospital with a broken leg, a twice broken arm, some ribs and a really bruised body. Since then, Reggie hasn’t taken a single jump above 50cm and has come here as a type of therapy to get over his fear.

Appearance: Standing at a massive 17.1hh, Gambler is a massive giant of a horse but with a balanced conformation and natural poise. His chest is broad and muscled that reach back to supple hindquarters. From his neck up, Gambler has an attractive head with large nostrils and kind eyes. His coat is dappled gray, and for his age, is still quite impressively dark. The entire length of his legs are black and only begin to lighten from across his shoulders and back. The region of his neck darkens before lightening as one reaches the head, which is considerably white with points of contrast at the eyes and the muzzle. Gambler’s mane and tail are paler with creamy accents laced throughout.

Age: 11

Personality: Gambler is typically quite curious and with a cheeky streak that manages to persuade him to get to some mischief or other. But overall, he is calm and bombproof; he isn’t startled easily and takes everything in his stride. But this sucker has zero loyalty to his owner. He would walk off with anyone and not even think about it.

Likes: Treats times a hundred, jumping, competitions and attention of any sort.

Dislikes: Nothing in particular.

Achievements: Plenty of national competitions and some small international shows.

Show Name: EA Fierce Credit

Barn name: Loca

Gender: Mare.

Breed: Egyptian Arabian.

Appearance: The brightest and glossiest chestnut there is, Loca’s coat is underlined with powerful muscles that send her coat rippling like a flame. At 16hh, she is decently tall with all the typical characteristics of an Arab: the finely dished nose, the flared nostrils, the prideful neck, every part of her as fine-boned and delicate as a China doll. On her right foreleg, she has a small, dainty sock and across her face, she has a star in the shape of a large heart that is connected to an off centered snip by a narrow stripe. Her eyes are borne of Satan, however, with the whites often flashing and the mean look almost permanently there.

Nevertheless, she is still Reggie’s precious baby, and he cares for her like she is one. He washes, grooms and combs her daily, reads to her like she is a two-year-old and tolerates her sudden temper tantrums.

Age: 8

Personality: On most days, Loca is like a ticking time bomb that lashes out in a flurry of kicks and bites when triggered with a rather savage temperament that Reggie struggles to control at times. On her good days, she has the sweetest demeanor and is such a flawless ride that no one would ever believe that the two horses were one and the same. She loves a good scratch across her chest and hugs but can be quite selective about when she wants them.

As a filly, she was spooky but that was mostly attributed for being highly sensitive and overly responsive. But she enjoyed a challenge and had – and still has – the most beautiful, effortless jump that drew Reggie to her. Up until the accident, Reggie had fixed up all the issues and she was a dream horse, but since then, has become unpredictable and uncooperative.

Likes: Scratches, hugs and Heaven knows – apples?

Dislikes: Most stuff. Usually, it is quite specific to the day. She is a fussy mare and likes routine, so anything out of routine makes her flighty.
