As the title states, a Wild Horse Roleplay! . . Threads . . Taking place in the outback of Australia where it rarely snows but it does happen during harsh winters, the main problem is droughts but in this part it isn't as severe even in summer. . The main cause of death for the horses is poisenous plants/parasites, no food from the drought or wild dogs/dingoes stealing foals (there's no cure if you decide for your character to eat a poisenous plants and dingoes will only target foals or weak/old herd members rarely). Snakes are sometimes a thing and occasionally humans might round up a few horses but if your horse gets rounded up thats the end for that character! . There are three herds on the land that most of the time respect each other and can share a waterhole but sometimes there can be some disagreements between young stallions or bachelors coming to test the lead stallions . . Rules . -No stealing mares all the time have some respect between herds. -Always confirm in Discussion about stealing a mare or any deaths and make sure both parties are okay with it. -Only stealing one or two at a time depending on the size of the herd (small herd of under 3 mares then only one) and again make sure both parties are okay with it!. -Only Bachelors can defeat a lead stallion for his entire herd and taking his position but it is allowed for mares to decide if they'll follow the old stallion or not, Please make sure everyone is okay with it. -If you read all of the rules put "Donkey" in Other -No excessive drama! if there was just a dramatic event please make sure everyone settles and accepts another dramatic event happening because too much drama can make people lose motivation to continue the roleplay. -Follow HEE Rules As Well. -With courting/breeding mares keep it PG no details just say and skip it -There will be foaling seasons! -If a foals mother dies then so does the foal, realism that a foal cannot live without its dam unless it is at least a year old and can fend for itself. -I won't do Lead Mares, in the Roleplay you guys can work out the hierachy as it goes on by who is more dominant. -Nobody is perfect or invincible so play fair! -Dont be completely hopeless otherwise how did your character survive this far! -Don't kill off another character without both parties being okay with it and confirming it in the Discussion thread. -Posts should be minimum of two per week to keep the roleplay running and over 250 words. . . Name; Arika Age; 3 Sex; Mare - Body Condition; Not very muscular with a thin neck, the top of her ribs just visible near her spine but a bit of a grass belly from the recent lush season. - Height; 14.1 Hands (Will mature to 15 hands) - Temperament; Being one of the younger Band mares shes more flight than fight when it comes to confrontation with the other horses or wild animals, She sometimes has a sense of curiosity when it comes to other horses but if she senses any bit of ill intention shes out of there back to her band stallion. - Offspring; None yet, Open for the season. - Herd and Herd Role; Band B, Band Mare - Other; She was born into the herd but her dam passed away after she turned two from an old injury that finally caught up to her. |

She's well muscled and strong. Height: 15.8 hands Temperament: Ari is a more fight then flight animal around anything but horses. She has a deep curiosity and is always leaning to learn something new. Sadly around any other horse, espicially a stallion, she'll submit without question. Offspring: Unnamed deceased colt. Name; Navi Age; 5 Sex; Mare Appearance; Smokey grulla mustang, no facial markings or leg markings Body Condition; Navi isn't necessarily a completely fit mare, being over the desired wieght of a mare by just a few pounds, unlike what you'd normally want or see, her ribs do not show at all, and instead have a good centimetre of coating over them. While she is muscled she isn't as muscled a some other mares, keeping just enough muscle on her for emergencies, and to keep the ability to run for hours, though personally she prefers to graze thank build muscle. Height; 14.3hh Temperament; Navi is a very dominant and headstrong mare who despises other mares trying to challenge her becuase apparently she's "chunky" like who would even say that about her?! A blue roan stallion with a dark head, two socks (front left, back right) and a back left coronet band, a small snip decorates his nose but apart from that his face is without maarkings, his mane is long for a wild horse although it has several fairy knots in it. The ends fade to a lighter brown compared to the black of the rest of his mane, the same goes for his tail although his fail barely reaches his hock Body Condition; Bracken is a young stallion who stands a little on the leaner side, he has some muscling but hasn't grown into his full adult potential yet. He lacks the fat you'd normally see on a band stallion, solely because he's a new band stallion and so hasn't had a herd to graze safely in since he left his natal herd. The lack of muscling/appropriate fat on him does mean that he leans a little on the faster side. Height; 16'1 Temperament; Bracken can be quite skittish and very cautious, especially since he is new to having a band, because of this he can be a little snippy/aggressive with his mares if he thinks his band is in danger. He is quite paternal though and will happily spend hours teaching his foals, looking after them etc. If he doesn't think his band is in danger though, he can be very sweet, spending hours happily keeping his mares company. But since he's only a recent band stallion, he still retains the bachelor mindset of being in danger/without a herd - hence his skittishness.
