Plot

Silverwood is an exclusive equine center where both horses and riders are treated like royalty. The estate is known for its centuries-old bloodlines, producing horses that dominate competitions worldwide. Admission is selective: riders are heirs to long-standing equestrian families, rising stars with rare talent, or prodigies sponsored by wealthy patrons. Every horse has a pedigree worth more than some estates, and every rider is expected to uphold the center’s legacy of excellence.

Life at Silverwood revolves around perfection and tradition. Mornings begin with early training sessions, dressage drills, and careful conditioning. Afternoon lessons are followed by grooming, stabling, and strategic planning for competitions. Everything is measured: a horse’s stride, a rider’s posture, the harmony between them. Mistakes are rare—and noticed. Success is expected, and pressure is constant.

To make things even more competitive, riders are divided into two rival teams. The Crimson Spurs are known for precision, discipline, and elegance, often favoring traditional techniques passed down through generations. The Silver Lances, on the other hand, are daring, inventive, and willing to take risks to push both horse and rider to the next level. The rivalry runs deep: each team trains separately, competes for top honors, and constantly tests each other in both skill and strategy.

Beneath the polished barns and perfect routines, tensions simmer. Families protect their legacies, newcomers fight to prove themselves, and secret alliances and rivalries blur the line between competition and personal conflict. Silverwood rewards excellence—but it also exposes cracks in even the most flawless facades.

Silverwood Estate Over-Look

Silverwood Equestrian Estate is laid out with the kind of quiet logic that only comes from long days spent running a working barn, every area built to do its job well without drawing attention to itself. The two main barns anchor the property, both constructed with steel frames, wood-lined interiors, and high ceilings that keep them cool and bright throughout the day. Each barn holds twenty stalls, built with solid lower walls, grilled fronts, and sliding doors, giving horses privacy without cutting off airflow. The center aisles are wide and rubber-matted, designed to handle multiple horses being tacked up at once, and each barn opens at both ends so there’s always a steady breeze moving through. Set between the barns is a shared grooming wing with six dedicated grooming bays, each fitted with rubber flooring, cross-ties, overhead lighting, and storage hooks for everyday tools like brushes, boots, and clippers. Nearby are four wash bays—two per barn—lined with sealed concrete and textured rubber, equipped with hot and cold water, overhead spray bars, and enough clearance for larger sport horses to stand comfortably without feeling boxed in.

Tack and equipment are kept carefully organized. Each barn has its own tack room with individual lockers, heavy-duty saddle racks, and bridle hooks mounted into reinforced walls, while a larger communal tack space holds lesson tack, spare equipment, schooling bridles, lunging gear, and medical supplies used day to day. Feed is stored in a separate feed building constructed of concrete block with sealed doors, designed to stay cool and dry; it houses labeled grain bins, supplement shelving, and a hay storage area kept well away from the barns to reduce dust and fire risk. Two large storage sheds sit farther back on the property, both metal-framed and fully enclosed—one dedicated to arena and jump equipment, holding poles, standards, fillers, portable cross-country elements, and arena maintenance tools, and the other used for farm machinery, drags, mowers, tractors, and general upkeep equipment.

The riding areas branch naturally from the barn complex. A covered arena with a steel roof and open sides allows for year-round work, while a full-size outdoor arena and a smaller schooling ring sit nearby, all built with consistent footing and proper drainage. Beyond the arenas, the cross-country course stretches through the property, with permanent fences built from solid timber and stone, water features reinforced with natural banks, and portable elements rotated in and out from storage to keep schooling fresh. A wide gravel trailer parking area sits near the entrance, marked to accommodate fifteen to twenty rigs, with a separate turnaround loop that allows even large trailers to enter and exit smoothly.

Turnout is divided across several acres at the back of the estate, with fencing made of post-and-rail reinforced with no-climb wire for safety. Geldings and mares are turned out in separate group paddocks, while stallions have their own smaller, more secure paddocks set at a distance to keep things quiet and controlled. A handful of individual paddocks are reserved for horses needing limited turnout, rehab, or isolation. Close to the barns sits a dedicated veterinary and care building, a simple but well-equipped structure with stocks, a treatment area, secure storage for medications and supplies, and enough space for routine exams, emergency care, and farrier visits without disrupting the rest of the barn. Scattered throughout the property are practical rider amenities—blanket storage rooms, hose stations, shaded seating near the arenas, and quiet observation areas—rounding out an estate that isn’t about showy details, but about durability, safety, and creating a place where horses and riders can work efficiently and comfortably every day.

.
Nickname/Barn Name: Theo
Age: 24 Years Old
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual | Female Preference - Monogamous
.
Team Affiliation: Crimson Spurs
Team Role: Captain
Riding Experience Level: Upper-Level
Primary Discipline: Show Jumping
Secondary Discipline: Cross Country
.
Reputation at Silverwood:
Undeniably skilled, Theo pushes herself - and her horse - hard to be the best. People respect her for her drive. That said, she can also clash with her teammates or instructors when she thinks she's right, and her temper sometimes gets the best of her...
Thoughts on the opposing team?
Theo sees the Silver Lances as worthy rivals - skilled enough to keep the Crimson Spurs on their toes - but she can't stand losing to them. She respects their riders' talent, but every win or mistake fuels her competitive streak, and she's always looking for ways to get the edge next time.
༺𓆩⑅𓆪༻
Appearance:

Theo stands around 5’6”, with an athletic frame that hints at strength without being bulky, and subtle curves that give her a feminine edge. Her skin is deeply tanned, a warm glow that speaks to long hours outside on the course and in the barns. Her dark brown hair is long and straight, silky enough to catch the light, though she keeps it pinned up most of the time in a practical yet neat style that suits both riding and competition. Her eyes are a rich, dark brown, striking against her tanned skin, with a natural double layer of lashes that makes her gaze sharp and hard to look away from. Her nose is slightly upturned, giving a touch of softness to her otherwise intense features, and her lips are full and plush, often pressed into a determined line when she’s focused on a ride.

She dresses meticulously, always in clean, fitted riding clothes that show both taste and care—tailored jackets, crisp breeches, polished boots, gloves that fit like a second skin, and always a perfectly fastened helmet when mounted. Even off the horse, she moves with a careful awareness of posture and presentation; nothing about her seems careless. There’s a quiet intensity in the way she carries herself, in the tilt of her chin, the steady set of her shoulders, and the alert way her eyes scan the barn or arena. Small details—like the faint crease at her brow when concentrating or the subtle flex of her hands on the reins—reveal a rider who is always aware, always calculating, and always ready for the next challenge.

.
Personality:
Hot-Headed | Stubborn | Competitive | Determined | Confident | Ambitious | Loyal | Impulsive
Theo is fiercely headstrong, the kind of person who rarely bends when she believes she’s right. She has a stubborn streak that shows up in everything she does—whether it’s insisting on a particular line on a course, arguing a point with an instructor, or standing her ground in team meetings. That stubbornness can sometimes make her clash with others, but it also fuels her determination; when Theo sets her mind to something, she pursues it with relentless focus until it’s done. She thrives on competition, and her competitive nature drives both her riding and her daily life. Losing isn’t something she takes lightly, and she’s quick to analyze what went wrong and figure out how to come back stronger.

At the same time, Theo’s confidence borders on boldness. She carries herself with an unmistakable energy that commands attention, and she’s rarely shy about expressing her opinion. That confidence makes her a natural leader, even if her intensity can sometimes intimidate quieter team members. She’s loyal to those she respects, especially her teammates, and will go to great lengths to support them or push them to perform at their best.

Theo’s impulsiveness and temper are well-known; she reacts quickly to situations, sometimes before thinking them through, and her emotions are always visible. However, there’s a method beneath the fire—her instincts often guide her effectively, and her decisiveness is part of what makes her a strong rider and captain. She values skill, discipline, and results, and while she can be impatient with mistakes, she admires anyone who works hard and shows dedication. Beneath the intensity, there’s a streak of fairness and honesty; Theo doesn’t hide her thoughts, and she expects the same transparency from others.

༺𓆩⑅𓆪༻
Strengths & Weaknesses:

Theo is fearless under pressure, with strong leadership skills and a determination that drives her to push herself and her team forward. She has a competitive edge, confidence in her abilities, and the skill to perform across multiple English disciplines, often making quick decisions that get results. She is loyal to her teammates and inspires others with her self-assured presence.

At the same time, she is hot-headed and stubborn, often reluctant to compromise or back down, which can lead to clashes with instructors or teammates. She can be impulsive both on and off a horse, impatient with slower or less experienced riders, and prone to overworking herself or her mount. Criticism doesn’t come easily for her, and she can take it personally, letting frustration show in moments of tension.

.
Championships/Events She's Working Towards:
Silverwood Spring Opening
Spring Combined Testing
Mid-Season Assessment Week
Silverwood Inter-Team Championship
Autumn Cross-Country Challenge
Preferred Training Style: Independent - Usually.
༺𓆩⑅𓆪༻
Backstory/Riding History:
Theo grew up in a strict, upper-class household where riding wasn’t just a hobby—it was expected. From a young age, she was enrolled in formal riding lessons, attending prestigious equestrian academies and competing in elite show circuits. Every movement, turnout, and performance was scrutinized, and mistakes were rarely tolerated, which helped shape her stubborn, hot-headed streak. She learned discipline and polish early, but also developed a fierce independence, pushing back when she disagreed with instructors or rules she found limiting. By her teens, she was competing at higher levels and commanding attention for both her skill and her intensity. Joining the Crimson Spurs felt like a natural step—here, she could channel that drive into leadership, competition, and proving she could outshine any rival.

Height - 16'3" Hands
Weight - 1,4500 lbs
Personality:
Brave/Bold | Energetic | Intelligent | Strong-Willed | Alert | Sensitive | Quick-Learner
Iron Rose is a bold and intelligent mare, the kind of horse who notices everything around her and reacts with a mix of curiosity and confidence. She moves with energy and purpose, always ready to step forward when asked, but she also carries a streak of stubbornness that keeps her from being a push-over. Quick to learn, she picks up new exercises and patterns with ease, but she’s sensitive to how she’s ridden—she responds best to a firm, consistent hand and can become tense or frustrated if cues are unclear or rushed.

Loyal to Theo above all else, Rose seems to understand her rider’s moods and intentions, often anticipating what Theo wants before it’s fully asked for. That loyalty makes her an incredibly reliable partner in competition, yet she’s far from passive; she has her own opinions and will assert herself when she feels confident or challenged. Brave and bold, Rose rarely hesitates over fences or tricky terrain, but her independence means she can sometimes test boundaries in the barn or during schooling if she senses hesitation or weakness.

She thrives on consistency and clear communication, and when paired with the right rider, her determination becomes one of her greatest strengths. Rose is competitive, forward-thinking, and aware of her surroundings, noticing small changes in footing, obstacles, or the energy of other horses nearby. That awareness makes her sharp and responsive, though it can also make her tense if the atmosphere feels chaotic. Despite the occasional flare of stubbornness, she is hardworking, spirited, and attuned to her rider in a way that makes her both a challenge and a joy to handle. Every ride with Rose carries energy and focus; she is a mare who commands respect, rewards patience, and matches her rider’s drive with her own unyielding spirit.

༺𓆩⑅𓆪༻
Strengths & Challenges:
Rose is brave, bold, and full of energy, always moving forward with confidence whether she’s on the flat, over fences, or across the cross-country course. She’s intelligent and quick to learn, able to pick up new exercises and patterns with ease, and deeply loyal to Theo, often anticipating her rider’s intentions before they’re fully given. Her competitive drive and determination make her a strong partner in high-pressure situations, and her alertness to her surroundings keeps her sharp and responsive. At the same time, Rose has a stubborn streak and an independent streak that can make her test boundaries, and she can become tense or frustrated if cues are unclear or inconsistent. Her spirited nature sometimes makes her hot-tempered, and her forward energy can be challenging for less experienced riders. She thrives on firm, confident handling, and when paired with the right rider, her drive, intelligence, and boldness become strengths that make her both a challenge and a joy to ride.
