A hidden gem nestled far from the well-trodden trade routes, where a unique society thrives—one shaped by generations of equine heritage. The island’s residents, known as equestrians, share a deep bond with horses that goes beyond simple companionship; their culture, traditions, and daily lives revolve around these noble creatures. Visitors arrive either by chance or are gently guided here by mysterious forces when they find themselves in need of renewal or purpose. The island’s landscape is a breathtaking tapestry of rolling meadows, dense forests, and crystal-clear streams where wild horses roam freely alongside domesticated breeds tended with great care.

Life on Faerûn is woven into the rhythm of hooves—the morning herd rides that weave through sunrise-lit valleys, community festivals celebrating equestrian skills and storytelling under starlit skies, and revered rituals honoring the sacred connection between rider and steed. Outsiders quickly learn that to be accepted here means embracing patience, respect for nature’s balance, and an eagerness to listen as much as speak. Every resident plays a role in caring for the horses who are not just animals but bridges to ancestral wisdom carried forward since time immemorial. As newcomers acclimate to this way of life they realize Faerûn holds more gifts than simple refuge: it offers transformation.

2.) This roleplay is open to everyone and anyone as its a free-roam and slice of life. This means people of all literacys are welcomed to join - all I ask is that there be no one-liners. 3.) Reservations have no limit, as there isn't a max to how many characters there can and will be. Adding to that, theres no max as to how many characters each player may have! Please just make your you can play all of them though.

4.) I expect respect from all players to myself and their peers, there shouldn't be any reason to scuffle over things due to how laid back I am hoping this experience to be. If there is, please PM me and I'll try to help out as much as possible.

5.) One of the only things I'm going to rather strict on otherwise from respect is realisiticity. This is not meant to be a fantasy-based plot so no horses or characters with wings or rainbow markings <3

6.) I would love at least two responses per person, per character a week. Do with that as you will for planning of just how many characters your planning for - remember, theres no limit just be able to write for them!

Faerun's Guide to Peace:

1.) Welcome every newcomer as you would a long-lost friend.

2.) Respect the flora and fauna of Faerun and they will greet you with similarity.

3.) Contribute to the islands and communities well-being. Give and you will recieve.

4.) Focus on a mindset of embracing goodwill rather than regection.

The land of Faerun is positivly breathtaking. Rolling hills, dense forests, green plains, and shimmering rivers find themselves happy to be here. What we will be getting into below though is the area itself and the various locations that equestrians are able to visit and live during their time here.

Memorable Areas:

Silverton - (Accidentally went unlabled) This is the islands Capital. It is located in a fairly flat, grassy located next to the docks and the southwest ranger station. This place is the first area you are most likely to visit when arriving and where you are greeted with invitations to dinner and information on the isle itself.

Mountains of Gala - Keeper of ancient ruins and mysteries. These mountains are located smack dab in the middle of the island - and are rather large too. They seperate Silverton from the next town and are rather dangerous to cross alone - most travelers ride horseback around them.

Coaluo - The next town over! While Silverton focuses primarily on the community of Faerun, Coaluo is the place you'd go to get assigned or prepared for your steeds. You are greeted in a similar manner to Silverton but these people will be even happier to speak with you about horse-related topics or problems.

The Plains - Where wild horses roam. The Southern Plains near Coaluo are often to most full of these steeds, they are plenty in numbers all around but rarer breeds and coloration may be found in the Western and Northern Plains specifically.

Supervisers Tower - The founder of the isle and her family reside here spending their days calmly living until something of trouble or conflict arrises that she must attend to over the island bridge.

Hermits Shack - A rather grumpy old man who hosts auctions a lot of the time. He appears rough and tough on the serface, but those who spend their time with him and are patient grow quite fond of him.

While there are many people to greet and converse with in Faerun, a few of them stick out from the rest as noticeable locals. Here we will go over the islands most well-known inhabitors - those who are known for their generosity and kindness or... the exact opposite. [These are all NPC's]

The Duchess - Otherwise known as the Supervisor, she is an slim, elderly lady with a strong passion for horsemanship. Before she founded the isle, she was much like the current hermit. That being said, her lighthouse had always overlooked this large plot of land owned by noone in particular and she had nothing major going on in her life at the moment so... she decided to follow a dream of hers. Building that dream, the Duchess found the love of her life and they started a family, welcoming any newcomers that visited and ended up staying on the island - creating the bustling place we know today. She often hosts hunter shows, flat shows, and show jumping in the arena around her lookout tower.

The Hermit - Described before, a seemingly grumpy old man who lives by his lonesome on the southwestern side of the second half of the isle. Hes close to the Duchess in a brotherly sort of way and is always one of her right hands. Other than that, hes in charge of his own crops and looking over the small herd of wild horses that gallop nearby. He specializes in race making and is always prepared to hand over a good wad of cash for completing his tracks.

Mr. Greendale - The mayor of Silverton. Hes quite stout and rather wide, with a big brown beard and just as large of a grin. He does his job well and is always one of the first to greet newcomers who pass through Silverton first. That being said, he does have a slight greed streak and does no ride a horse of his own.

Mrs. Carponson - The supposed "leader" of Coaluo. She lives there with her two twin daughters as a single mother, making most of the smaller towns decisions. She gives wonderful advice about riding and is always happy to share some lore about the island itself.

Dr. Baker - This meak looking woman is both the certified vet of the isle and a hardworking nurse. She is always busy running around the island to ensure everyone is happy and healthy and ready to continue their long lives. She is quite the workaholic and may come off a bit snippy when working, but its all in good means, I promise.

Carlos Anderson - The head ranger of Faerun. This young man is hardworking and patient, residing primarily in the main ranger station but hes known to hop from one place or another. Hes all for the health of nature and wildlife and can become quite blunt when those two aspects arent respected - hence his anual speeches around towns.

Ms. Roice - Basically everyones grandma. This older woman is warm and always prepared with baked goods for newcomers. She makes everyone feel at least a hint of that welcoming Faerun spirit and while she spends most of her time in her little red cottage, come visit and youll be overcome by her kindness.
