History(Optional): Opal grew up the oldest of three children. Her two younger brothers never being as interested in horses as her and her mother. She always felt like the shadow of the family. While her brothers took home perfect grades, she took home critters from the woods, trying to get her father to let her keep snakes and raccoons as pets. When her mother and younger brother where hit by a deadly deasease, she kept her youngest brother safe while caring for the whole family and keeping her father in his feet while he mourned their deaths.

Personality: Quinn is quite the character, she has a opinion about everything and makes sure her opinion is known. She tends to be a bit strong in a light bit and pins her ears at every horse that breaths too close. Most people refer to her as a heinous bitch, but she's the sweetest girl in opals eyes, sticking her nose through the bars to beg for kisses every time the girl passes her stall, and whinnying to her any time her voice is heard

Level of training/handling: she's not bombproof, but she's got miles under both the English and western saddle. Primarily being used as a cattle horse, taking a liking to cutting and ranch work

History(Optional): Quinns breed is one that breeds only for pure black or bay horses with the occasional blue roan. When she was born with brindle they threw her into a kill sale deeming her not pure. Opal had happened to be at the sale and bought the day old filly for fifteen dollars, putting her in with her dad's mama Mike who had lost her foal (probably the reason Quinn has a attitude)

Level of training/handling: he's the go too ranch pony for everyone, Dustin uses him to check fences and rope cows, opal gives lessons on him. Hell this pony would probably trot right off a cliff if he was asked too

History(Optional): was bought off the side of the road for 30 dollars as a yearling, opal started him and then gave him to Dustin when the kid turned 10.

Other: doesn't know how to drink water without putting his whole head in the tank. Identifies as a goldfish.

History: Riata grew up in the hills like all the Carson's horses do- learning their feet, manners, pecking order, everything. She was an easy start for Wrens dad once Wren turned 5- and being a ranch man, of course he put his 5 year old on a 3 year old who'd never been ridden. She had a good brain and didn't buck at all. It took him a couple years to get her completely safe, and Wren started riding her at 7 and has been ever since.

Selma tries to greet every day with a smile. She's quite chipper, but her energy can occasionally come across as nervous - which, sometimes, she is. She's very much a "look on the bright side" kind of person, but she knows other people aren't, so Selma worries that she might be "too much" for people to handle.

Selma is one who takes charge, but she's not assertive. At least, not in an aggresive way. She usually takes a very gentle approach to leadership, but there are moments where she takes full control and unknowingly shoves everyone else aside. This often happens in situations that are particularly chaotic or she's working with people whose personalities don't jell well.

Selma is always eager to help. Even if you don't know her that well, she will absolutely stress that you can rely on her for anything.

History

Nothing notable about her childhood; Selma grew up in a happy, loving (though strict) environment. She has horses in her blood. Literally. Her mother is a horse trainer. Selma grew up loving horses, they were constant companions. She had it drilled into her at a young age that horses are equals, that they are friends, and not machines to serve you. Selma was brought up to believe that all animals have a value, that their lives are just as important as a human's. Hence the reason she became a veterinary assistant.

Other: Selma is always ten degrees colder than the next person, so you'll find her wearing very warm garments, even in the midst of summer.

Personality: Clumsy but well-meaning, sometimes doesn't know his own strength. The biggest sweetheart.
Level of training/handling: He's been used as a trail and pleasure horse, that's about it.

History: Romeo was a trail and pleasure horse, a good companion for his former owner, but he wanted to get into competing. Romeo wasn't the horse for that. So, he was dumped off at the closest auction, coincidentally the same day that Selma and her mother were attending. Selma fell absolutely in love with the horse; he was like a big dog in a horse's body. So, Selma bid on him and she went halves on the price with her mom.
Other: Romeo's afraid of mice, for some reason that Selma cannot figure out. She knows there must be some story from Romeo's former home that caused this, if only the horse could talk.
