Hunter Evans || 15 || QBD Shattered Earth || M: Caden Hunter groaned internally at hearing English. Everyone nowadays was English. "I'm Western. Shard and I are focusing more on Reining and Cattle Cutting." He replied. The walk to the barns was short, and filled with easy idle chatter. Walking inside, Hunter beamed. It was beautifully set up, and everything seemed in place. "Shard should be down here..." He spoke to himself quietly. Scanning each stall, sure enough, the spotty horse showed himself. "Shard! My man!" Hunter exclaimed. He tapped Caden's shoulder to show his gelding off.

Liberty Lark Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle (briefly) ✴ CR: none (open, PM me) - After Liberty had removed the saddle pad, she gave Dahlia a short brush and fed her a sugar lump she had in her pocket. Dahlia slurped up the treat, then snuffled Liberty's pocket for more. Liberty laughed and hugged her mare's head before clipping on the lead rope and untying the cross ties. Liberty led Dahlia out of the stable and along a path that led to the cross-country courses. Liberty was hoping for more alone-time with Dahlia, but she glaced at her watch and noticed it was almost suppertime. Liberty paused, halfway between the caffeteria and the cross-country course. She finally decided that a little ride wouldn't hurt before dinner, so she continued walking Dahlia down the path until they reached a field with a fence on one side and a little forest on the other. Liberty led Dahlia to the fence and climbed it, then hopped onto her mare. Dahlia nickered, ready to roll. Liberty urged her into a slow trot, so as to not let her fal off. |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] Single [] Dashing To Freedom [] M: Liberty After working Dash in the ring for a while, Ryker decided to go for a nice little relaxed trail ride before supper started. He walked Dash out of the pen, heading towards the forest, when he noticed a girl going into the forest as well. Ry wasn't the most social person, but he hd no friends here... he only knew Alaska and Keefe because they were here last year and he hadn't really talked to either. So, with the urge to find someone to talk to overpowering his introverted self, Ry urged Dash into a canter to catch up, slowing to a jog trot as he got closer. "Ello." He called as a greeting, just so her horse didn't startle. On the wide path. Ryker came up beside the girl's mare, but made sure to stay a good distance away. Dash blew out a quiet snort but did nothing else, seeming relaxed. "I'm Ryker Rivera and my horse is Dashing to Freedom, or Dash. And you are?" he asked, his southern drawl quite prominent. Ryker was trying to start a friendly conversation- he just wasn't that good at it. |

She had thought that she had gone unnoticed, and didn't know how to feel about being interrupted. "Hi..." Liberty said warily as she adjusted her position on Dahlia. "I'm Liberty. Norris. Liberty Norris. This is Golden Dahlia, or Dahlia." Liberty's voice was quiet, but not too quiet that Ryker couldn't hear. - Dahlia pricked her ears when she heard horse hooves behind her. It was a stallion and a boy on his back, coming straight for thiem. Dahlia didn't like new horses, so she scooted as far as she could to the left, away from the new horse. She snorted suspiciously as the stallion went along next to her. Who was he? |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] Single [] Dashing To Freedom [] M: Liberty The boy was quickly having second thoughts about this- nothing about his confidence, he was probably even more confident than Mr. Popular (Keefe), but at the way the girl responded and sounded. She didn't seem happy to be speaking to him, and Ryker always picked up quickly on those things. He tried never to make anyone uncomfortable, so there was a quick shift in his demeanor, and he seemed much more hesitant as he spoke again. "Nice to meet you, Liberty. Dahlila is a beautiful name... and she is a stunning mare as well. What discipline do you ride?" Ry asked, his voice a bit quieter now, more to match hers. He was ready to leave if need be, but he was now interested in the mare, and when Ry took a liking to a horse... he needed to know about it. Dash seemed almost surprised as the mare snorted and stepped away. His ears perked before falling lazily to the side and he sidestepped to get farther away from her, blowing out another quiet breath as he lowered his head. |

The boy looked sadder and was talking quieter. What had she done? Or maybe she hadn't done anything wrong, and the boy- Ryker she kept reminding herself - had another reason? Whatever the answer, Liberty felt a little bad. "Well, first of all," Liberty said, "It's DahLIA, not DahLILA." Liberty meant this as a joke, and she hoped it sounded like one. "And second of all, I ride Western. And Dahlia may be pretty, but she is weird. She's scared of hay nets!" Liberty had no idea why she was opening up to this kid. Maybe because she felt bad. Still, she had never told anyone that, besides her aunt, of course. She wanted to add somthign else, so she decided to ask, "Um, what's your discipline?" Well, that was a stupid question she told herself. It was obvious that the boy rode Western. He had a Western saddle! Liberty kicked herself on the inside for not thinking of that first. - Dahlia paid no mind to the stallion, he clearly didn't want to get involved with her, and she didn't either. 'So that's that' she thought. |

"Woah he's beautiful Hunter, whats his name?" Cade stood in awe of the horse, he was a leopord appaloosa with a great build and a handsome face. Cade was about to let him sniff his hand when Jazz stuck his head out of his stall, two doors down. He let out a whinny to Cade and Cade smiled. "Jazzy, you'll be okay boy." Cade turned to Hunter and rolled his eyes. "Jazz is quite a jealous horse, as you can tell." |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty (Eventually) [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty Even though Ryker was trying to step lightly, he quickly noticed when Liberty seemed slightly confused. Since the most likely reason was his quick change of demeanor, Ry ruled it that she was perceptive to emotions- probably because, as he had noticed, she was quieter at times. "My oh my, my mistake. DahLIA is a beautiful name as well." He chuckled, his tanned face lighting up with the small joke. "Western is a great discipline. I've found many people start riding English and less ride Western these days." Ryker commented thoughtly. At Liberty's words he grinned slightly. "Weird horses always have the best personalities, in my opinion. Believe it or not, Dash is scared of cats so haynets arent a big jump." He chuckled, his southern accent prominent yet seeming more normal the more he spoke. "I am a Western fanatic." Ry smiled, then continued. "I prefer Reining and everything to do with cattle to Gaming. Dash got hurt a long time ago, so now he cant go incredible speeds... and it would hurt him to turn tightly around a barrel. Every once in a while I will canter a slow pattern for fun with him, though." He explained, Patting the dappled buckskin's strong neck with a smile. |

Hunter Evans || 15 || QBD Shattered Earth || M: Caden Hunter chuckled at his new friends horses antics. "His names Shard. Or if we want to go registered, Shattered Earth." Hunter shared. He stroked his horses nose and scratched under his halter, in his favourite spot. "I can tell, with the jealousy." Hunter added. Dropping his horses head gently, he walked over to his mates horse and admired him. "Gorgeous as well.." He admitted quietly. Hunter adored horses, and would stop what he was doing just to admire a pretty horse. "Any chance you want to go for a small ride.. it's about..." He checked his watch quickly. "It's only 11am." He proposed. He could tell Shard would be a bit antsy to get out of the stall. Apparently the horses had been here for about a day without work. He'd need a good tiring out.

Kieran Solomon || 16 || Exchange Student || RAJ Die Sonne || M: Open Kieran ran the mare through a few warmups, trotting around the pen. Noticing it wasn't doing much, Kieran nudged the mare into a collected canter. Sun enjoyed it, snorting happily as she moved herself smoothly. Soon enough, her dark bay sabino coat was glistening with sweat. Kieran slowed her mare down, and dismounted, stroking her face happily. "Good girl." She praised, giving Sonne a kiss on the nose. The mare threw her head happily. Kieran brought the reins over the horses head, loosened her cinch, and walked her back to the stables, passing a few people with their horses, but keeping her head down. They quickly arrived back, and Sun was looked after before being returned to her stall. Kieran looked down at her watch and realised it was about time for lunch, so she dusted her breeches off and walked up to the caferteria. |
