Thankfully, the new person waved to them before calling out, catching Elliot's attention and sparing him from a scare. Sure, it had only been moments since they had first met, but Elliot already felt budding appreciation for his new roommate for not sneaking up. It's not that he dislikes people who do; he just thinks it's considerate. Elliot turned around to fully face him and looked him in the eyes. Despite the fact that he asked a question, Jack continued to speak, leaving no room for a response. Elliot didn't mind, though; it was a bit silly but made him more approachable and human. Gosh. Tall, handsome, and nice? Roommate jackpot! At the end of Jack's ramble, he gave him a friendly smile and wave. "Thats me; I'm Elliot," he said, trying to make a better first impression this time. Elliot turns to Nicholas one last time. "See you later, maybe?" His voice trailing off as he redirects his wave. With his goodbyes said, he approaches the door and reaches for the handle. "Oh, and Jack, my friend Luca will probably be here; he was the one who trailered my mare to Golden Satchel Stables." Truth be told, when he creaks open the door, there is a familiar figure lazing on one of the beds. |
