Kieran rolls his head to watch the trio through the bars of the stall door, tossing a grin at the group. "Depends who's askin'. In this situation, yes, I'm Kieran," he offers the horse a pat, "And this is Mamba, if you're curious." He slides off of the horse, slipping out of the stall and latching it shut, "Can I help you with something or are you just exploring? I considered it but I'm not sure where to start." He sticks his hand out for a shake, grin widening as he looks them all over. One looked like the type to be in his classes, the others not so much. it would be interesting to see who he'd have lessons with. |

She looked around, wondering what there was to do. Catherine didn't feel like going back out to the stables, so she grabbed her sketch pad, drawing pencils and coloured pencils. She sat at her desk and started to sketch her horses. (sorry it's short, I've been super busy) |

Sam said, as he took a step forward and offered his hand out to be shaken. "I'm taking your Western lessons, I saw your name down as an instructor. " Sam gave his white and black baseball hat a small tip in Keiran's general direction. "I'm looking forward to it!" Sam said with a grin. "And if we want to go exploring, we should start with the dining hall I think. I wonder when dinner is?" |

Emily Jones | 19 | Learning rider | Horse(s): Sleeping Beauty (Nydra) | M: Fabian, Kieran Emily crept away noticing that the others were in there own coversation, she decided to go listen to some music whilst she cleaned her tack and brushed some saddle pads. Emily really enjoyed cleaning tack as it was a good way to pass time and catch up on latest hits. |

Elliot's eyes bore into his cabin's doorknob as he stared and silently prayed for this awkward interaction to magically fix itself. Changing the topic had been an instant remedy, but surely Nicholas would never forget whatever embarrassing face he made. It's already too late to start avoiding him, too. Oh well, just keep walking; we're almost at the cabin. Just a bit longer. "Uhm, stall eight? Yeah, there was a horse there. Medium height, pinto coloring?" Elliot gave a small hum in confirmation; yep, thats Kalli. I might stop writing these "That's my horse, Kalli, sweet thing, but she may be a pain if you work with her. Doesn't have an ounce of urgency, she could ignore an earthquake." Elliot pauses, feeling like he shouldn't completely bash her. "N- nice in the ring though," he adds in a rush. Their walking has led them just a few feet away from cabin F now, and Elliot is grateful for the break it offers. |

Again, Nicholas found himself feeling regret. 'I should have probably spared more than a glance. I can barely remember anything about his horse.' "Okay! I'll make sure to take a closer look next time I'm in there." The line held a subtle promise to go meet his horse. Who knows, maybe she'll even do something exciting so they can have more to talk about. Cabin F stood in front of them now, signaling the end of their encounter. Surprisingly, Nicholas was pretty content with the friendly note they were ending on. He lets one hand fall from the suitcase to his side while bringing the other to rub against the back of his neck. He should probably go to his own cabin now and get his bags too. "Alright... I should get going. See you around?" |

[SO sorry for going MIA; started a new job and got super busy. Hopefully can be more consistent now.] As Jack approached the cabin, he saw two figures standing nearby. He moved both bags to the same hand, and swung his heavy duffle over his shoulder with ease, years of barn work paying off. He lifted a hand in greeting as he approached the strangers. "Hey! Is one of you Elliot? This piece of paper says he's my roomate. I'm Jack, by the way. I just got here a few minutes ago- I got a late start because Obi -that's my gelding, not a person- decided he wasn't trailering today, but once I brought out the treats he hopped right on..." Jack closed his mouth. He tended to ramble when meeting new people. He wasn't really nervous, he just didn't like silences. It had been a long drive by himself, and his extroveted nature was eager to talk to someone. |
