Nastasya walked in, and mounted Thunder's Striker. The jet black Dutch Warmblood stallion tossed his head, walking around. She kept her heels down, and gave loose reins, she didn't want to rush into anything harmful, or painful, for the stallion.

Hugo Cavendish | 19 | Second Year | Casanova VDL (Romeo) | Schedule: Eventing, Show Jumping, Dressage The now-satisfied gelding was returned to his stall, the tell-tale traces of green still at the corners of his lips, and Hugo had headed off to finally unpack his own gear. By that, he meant unceremoniously dump his case on the floor of his room and slump onto his bed. With a soft groan, he forced himself upright and began to absent-mindedly stuff clothing into drawers. Once his case was suitably empty, he kicked it under the best, standing up and smoothing out the wrinkled bedsheets. Given that his roommate was still absent and he would be at a loose end for the afternoon, he figured a hack around the property would be good for both himself and Romeo. It would give Romeo a chance to stretch his legs and get some fresh air, and Hugo an opportunity to refamiliarise himself with the IEEC layout. The zips of his tall black boots closed with a satisfying 'zzzp' and Hugo settled his helmet over his brow, clicking the clasp shut under his chin. After a cursory flick-over with a soft brush, the navy dressage square was laid over Romeo's back, followed by a neatly covered dressage saddle. He carefully removed the canvas cover, revealing a soft calfskin-leather monoflap, designed with Hugo's particularly long leg in mind. For a gentle hack, he had grabbed the gelding's snaffle, leaving his double bridle safely in the bridle bag. When both horse and rider were dressed and ready, they headed down the barn to the mountain block, heels and shoes clicking on the clean stone floor. Hugo lowered carefully onto the gelding's back — he could be rather a cold-backed sort if you didn't do things just to his liking. There was a soft snort from the gelding, and an almost imperceptible shift as his back came up under the saddle. "Not the time, Romeo," Hugo muttered, half-amused, and closed his legs around his sides gently. The grey softened as they began to move, standing him still could be like sitting on a time-bomb, but as long as you gave his brain something to do the moment you touched the saddle, you were generally in the clear. Gathering up his reins, they made their way out through the archway of the barn, and onto the track that headed around campus. The large, sandy pathway looped around the back of the outdoor arenas and down towards the start of the cross country course. He figured they'd go for a little stretch, avoiding the arena until he needed to for their lessons. As Hugo glanced across to the arena, he spotted a few students who'd clearly had the same idea.

Jessica Dakota Foster ⚕︎ 2nd Year | 17 Years Old | F | A ce Sior la Rose | Showjumping, Dressage & Cross Country ⚕︎ Jess rose up in her stirrups as her and Rose cantered beside the water complex. She usually prefered to warm up by the water so that it became second-nature to Rose. Her mare pressed against the bit, striving for a faster pace. Jess sat back and loosened her reins, swinging her lower leg forward to gather more balence while she slowed down Rose. It was usual for the mare to be a bit whizzy after travel, especially if it was a long ride. She rose onto her knees, pressing against the saddleflap for a place. "Woah." She murmured to her, "Relax." Looking around she spotted a small log, perfect for a warmup. Jess sat back, gave Rose a tap and they powered towards the jump. 1, 2, 3- They were off! Rose took off half a stride early, arching over the jump. Jess nearly flew over her neck as they landed, grinning. ⚕︎ Gotta go to sleep but i'll edit this tommorow with Jamie as well

Nastasya Xenia Volkov/ 1st year/ show jumping, cross country, pleasure riding, in-hand showing/ Thunder's Striker and Lightning Crasher/ 17. Nastasya looked around, seeing all the riders, trainers, and horses. She wasn't, at all, used to such a big, luxurious place like this. Thunder's Striker trotted around, his jet black coat gleaming like onyx in the looming in sunlight.
"C'mon." She stated, clicking her tongue. Again, her reins were loose, as she was trying to not do anything to hurt her stallion. She was waiting on her instructor to get there, unless they already were, but she didn't know who to go to. Edited at November 29, 2025 07:01 PM by Transformers Acres

Rosalie took a step back, intimidated by the blunt rudeness and hostility shown by Jess.

Allen Lipovsky/2nd year/ Polo, Eventing, Cross country/Flight of the Banshee(Banshee)/19 Allen lifted the saddle with ease, even as Banshee shifted from hoof to hoof. "Easy, my sweet- I know, it's been a while since we've ridden, no?" his voice was a rough and low mutter, doing little to hide his anxiety- it had been a few days since Banshee had recovered from her laminitis, and Allen had only repacked and checked them every hour. He gently pushed her ears forward as he slid the bridle over her head- since he was riding her in a hackamore, he didnt worry himself over checking her mouth. He let her amble down the field, his hands clutchig the reins with nervousness, awaiting his instructor. (Sorry this took me so long! we just got a new foster and they're all currently determining who the new alpha is)

It was pretty calm right now but she knows that Diana could get really excited so she said "calm down it's not a competition right now just a training session but I guess you want to show off but don't do anything stupid" she said and looked around.

She dismounted, and walked over to a field, where Lightning Crasher was grazing. "Hello, girl." She stated, patting the Thoroughbred mare, letting her, and Thunder's Striker greet and nuzzle each other. |
