Emma woke up, an hour later, and stayed and watched as the couple sat there and talked. Did I forget to bring anymore- godammit! Left the rest of my books at home. Shit. Oh, well. I'll have to ask Adam tomorrow if there are any bookstores in this tiny place. How long must I stay here and wait with this annoyingly cute couple?! What time is Adam going come back tomorrow? Is there an alarm clock somewhere? Probably not... Well. I'll get over it. Emma sighed, grabbing her phone. It had a black case with the name "Splash" engraved into it's back. She scrolled through some Tik-Tok and got bored. No books, bored, and stuck with these two. Great. What else is there to do. No cleaning, no reading material- except for the large BUNKS sign, and my phone is about to die. Of course. Why not. I could go for a ride, but I don't know this place very well. And I couldn't call for help with a dead phone. UGH! Those two never shut up, do they?! GOD! Emma stormed off to grab coffee and sit by the fireplace. Maybe she'd watch a movie she had memorized. |

Adam Reiner Jacobs ~-----------------------------------------------~ Adam nodded as both came back with the rest of the groceries and mounted up. "Okay then... I need you both to listen to me. Like actually listen to me. When he begins up the mountain to the camp, you both need to stay close by me." He pats Summer's neck, the paint mare snorting turning back to poke at his foot. "This is Summer, please keep near her tail. She knows this trail like I do. And I beg of you, tell me if you need to stop or if you're hungry or if the elevation is getting to you. Is that clear?"
He asked, moving his hand back to Summer's reins and shifting in his saddle. Adam glanced at them tentatively. When he heard their acknowledgments, he nodded with a small sigh. Okay... He prayed they both listened. "Then let's get going."
He said, pushing his left leg against Summer's body and tugging on the right rein. She turned, taking a step forward at Adam's gentle click. Summer began toward the small beginning path. They would start on this path then veer off at the rocks and go off the path. Once they reached the beginning of the path, Adam leaned up, allowing Summer to make her way up the small ledge and onto the path. Adam relaxed as Summer began walking the trail easily. Trees hung close to them, looming over them. Rocks dotted the dirt path, making Summer take tentative steps to avoid the rocks. About twenty minutes into the ride, Summer turned at a large tree that split down the center. She hopped up onto a rock and Adam glanced back. "Be careful here." He commented.
'Let your horse find their footing. They'll be okay." Adam reassured quietly. Birds chirped around them, the air gathering with a humid feeling. Adam clicked Summer forward, allowing her to move up through the rocks and harsher terrain. Adam glanc ed up and frowned, tugging her to a stop. "It may begin raining soon, if it's not rough rain, then we can continue. If it is, we will have to find a place to wait it out." He told them. He was back home. Up here, on these trails, was at home. He felt comfortable up here. The elevation was just getting higher and higher, but Adam and SUmmer were breathing normally. They were used to this height. But seriously, Adam needed the two behind him to tell him if anything was wrong. (:3) |

Lorelei Baumstark . ----------------------------------------------------------------- Her eyes widened slightly before the pillow was taken from her grasp and she proceeded to be whacked with it. Her brows then furrowed at the news of a "minor break.". Yeah right...minor, ha. I doubt that. She thought to herself as she leaned back onto the wall, crossing her arms over her chest as a show of aggravation. She glanced his way as he playfully begged her not to be mad and Lorelei was seriously debating on whether or not to shove him off the bunk. However, when his arm slipped around her waist and he moved to be closer to her Lorelei decided against it, her expression softening as she looked down at him. "I still think you should have told me sooner. I mean what if I accidentally hurt you?" She paused, taking a breath to calm down before she almost started ranting about all the things that could have happened. "How long ago did you break it? And...how exactly did it break?" Her head cocked slightly to the side before deciding to move down the bunk and lay down next to Kaelix so she was facing him on her side, her arm propping her head up. She studied him, noting the freshly looking lines of ink on his body- he must've gotten them done while she was away because this was the first time she has seen them. (I apologize if its a bit short!) |

Kaelix Ryan Winston ~-----------------------------------------------~ Kaelix hesitated and huffed. "It was like-... Two years ago. Or something. Uh... Raffle and I were doing a jumping course and the crowd was a bit... too enthusiastic. Raffle spooked and threw me off. Hit a pole on my right arm. Broke it in five places." He told her, shrugging slightly. He scooted forward, gripping her hip and pulling her closer. He kissed Lorelei's forehead gently. "I got some more tattoos to cover the scars." Kaelix murmured, sliding a cold hand to the small of her back, tracing her spine. "Seriously, My love. It's fine. I just get pains in my arm sometimes." He told her. However, he was not prepared when he was whacked again. "Hey! Ow!" Kaelix grumbled in annoyance, sitting up and catching Lorelei's wrist before she could whack him again. "What was that for, Lei??"
He questioned, his other hand rubbing the spot she whacked him with a pillow. |

Emma sat there, listening to their friendly banter. She chuckled to herself, and went to go get some coffee in the meantime. |
