Pigeon's tail swished in the air while walking and looking for Ellias. "Ellias?" She spotted a dark figure standing near a rock circle, and she ended up running back to Tuefel just because. And when she got there, she noticed ponies crowding him. "Hello?" she said as she walked up.
her ears shot back when she saw they were stallions. "May we help you?" she snorted. But then noticed the familiar scent on them. "Oh, so you're from the same herd... I see." She went silent and waited for an answer. While she waited, she grazed on the sharp blades of grass.

Soot snorted quietly at the words. "Yeah, she's extroverted and wants friends." He mumbled, but it wasn't rudely. He didn't mind the fact that Lia looooved other horses... he just didn't. As much, anyway. He was much more of a herd fellow. Still, it wasn't his decision- he protected the herd and led them where Lia told him to. He watched the filly scrambled up the hill, slightly amused. She could've taken the easier way, but no. He watched as Legacy helped them, then nodded slightly. "I haven't gotten to know them by coat color yet..." He sighed. "Isn't Teufel the one that's known for being in an outrageously bad mood 24/7?" He asked with a wince, then tossed his head. "Please do. Not that I NEED you, but moral support, right?" He grinned, trotting down the hill towards the flame colored stallion. "Who are you and what do you want?" He asked, his tone hard but not rude... just uninviting. He glanced at the mare that trotted up, curling his lip as he smelled the overwhelming rogue scent. "What are you doing here..." - Teufel paused as Pigeon ran back up, glancing at her with a grumble before turning his yaze to the two stallions that approached. He assumed the seal was the leader, from the way they held themselves. Soot, was their name, he believed. Not that he cared in the slightest. When they spoke to Pigeon in that way, his ears pinned. "Ohh look at this, another disrespectful stallion. Not hard to find these days, I guess." He scoffed, arching his neck slightly. "Teufel, if you couldn't figure that out, and I'm coming to ask why the hell you're on Swallowhooves land? Do you have noses or do they just not function?" He inquired with a scowl. - Soot glared at the stallion as they immediately defended the rogue. "Why are you defending a ROGUE- you're in a herd." He spat, then shook his mane. "I do realize we're on your territory, thank you very much. I am hoping to speak to the actual leader, though, instead of just a grumpy old protector."

Legacy arched his neck watching the stallions argue he snorted "borders are borders none of our horses have crossed them although we are closer to the border then what is comfortable." He said with a agitated snort. His muscles stiff as he looked at the rouge mare she was about the same hight as him maybe even taller but he looked bigger because he was stockyer. Legacy pinned his ears teufel was way bigger then him but the medicine horse didn't care "watch who your calling disrespectful your just a herd protector and soot can report you to your leader if you don't watch your tone" the bay a Snapped he teeth bared as he graded himself from both pidgion and teufel

"Excuse me?!" She snarled and snorted at the bay. "You may not! He is none of your business. If you didn't know, I am 17.2 hands tall, and a mare! Nonetheless, for you to recognize being this argumentative is considered rude!" Pigeon bared her teeth at the bay. "Oh, I oughta beat the - outa you!" She yelled at the bay once more before lunging toward the two stallions that were annoying her the most (im not sure if there's more than two...). Pigeon ended up striking her hoof on the bay's side and biting the bay on his mane, and wouldn't let go.

Teufel narrowed his eyes at the lead stallion at the 'grumpy old protector' comment. F- him. "I'm doing my job, healer." He spat. "Glad you're so nice and cozy with your own leader." A sneer was evident in his tone. He struck the ground with his hoof as Pigeon got angry and flew forward. Who was he to tell her what to do, although he didn't think this was the right way to go about it. "Soot, tell your herd to get away from Swallowhooves land. And stop being a jacka-- about it." He snapped, turning. However, he paused with a casted glance back at Pigeon. He wasn't going to leave her there, but he didn't really want to get in a fight at the moment. - Soot scoffed at them and lifted his front hooves off the ground as the rogue attacked Legacy. "Get off of him you mangy rogue." He snarled, striking out with his hoof. - Teufel glimpsed the tensing of their muscles right before it happened and shot in, getting in the way of the strike. It ended up cracking into his shoulder instead. He pinned his ears and swung around. "Enough, all of you! This is childish! Go back to your respective areas and maybe talk about it like mature adults." He snapped, his teeth closing mere inches from Soot's nose.

(there's only two lol) Legacy hopped sideways he really didn't want to fight a mare. It was against everything his dam taught him. So instead of kicking her he shoved his shoulder into his chest using his full body weight and muscle to shove her off balance his brown eyes irritated but not angered. His side was bleeding from where she struck him and a clump of his mane was torn out. He shook his coat ears still pinned "I doubt rivor would be very impressed if news got around that you attacked a medicine horse" he stomped a hoof shaking out his mane he swished his tail now watching the rouge mare more then the protector. "I doubt Elias will let you live without a good scolding if he hears" legacy continued his ears seeming to flatten against his head even more as he listened to teufel speak. (thanks lol) | At the mention of Elias, she stopped and let go of the bay. "As if you would know him.." she grumbled and walked away. As she walked away, she glanced at Teufel and mouthed Thank you before continuing on her way home. She had hoped Elias wouldn't know, but then again, he knew "Everything." She mumbled to herself before looking back once more at Tuefel and smiled, maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Her own mind was spiraling, and she started to trip over her own feet as she wasn't watching where she was going. She fell hard on the ground but got back up and cantered home. | Edited at September 16, 2025 04:37 PM by Palomino Star Valley

Teufel groaned at all of them and once he knew Pigeon was safe, turned away and started stalking back. Honestly, he was done with horses. They were right on the border, the rogues were too, not that he cared much about them. He had never had a problem with rogues in all his years as a protector- other herds, on the other hand... not the same case. As he trotted back, he glanced to make sure that Pigeon was going back, just in time to see her smack into the ground before cantering away. A sigh escaped as he turned his gaze back to the willow he was standing under before. What had he gotten himself into now. - Soot glared at both the others as they left, then shook his mane. "Annoying." He muttered. "You okay?" His gaze turned to Legacy and he sniffed the wound that was oozing blood. "I can get something for that. Sorry it happened." His pelt twitched as he turned as started walking back. That had not gone as planned was the least he could say.

Legacy watched the horses leave before shaking his head "I'm alright, thanks though" he followed soot as the started to walk back "we'll have to tell Lia what happened, we definitely need to move the herd now that we know that rouge mare is hostile" he said with a snort. He jogged sideways so he could look back at where he last saw her. The sky was getting dark and he could feel the breeze cooling down as it started to drizzle "and maybe convince her to move the herd to some shelter while we're at it"

Pigeon ran home to find no one there. "Hm," she wondered where they had gone. She went along with it anyway and walked around the peninsula that her home had been on, along with the two herds. She was torn. Her heart that is. Her heart loved both Tuefel and the leader of another herd (I forgot his name, my bad.) She knew one didn't seem to respond to her and had ignored her, but the other had protected her. Although he yelled at the three of them, Tuefel had to be the one... Not only was he all-around perfect, but he was also kind to her.
