Polaris had been on the verge of interferring for all their sakes`, but paused when she noticed the stranger catching her observing him. She barely reacted, offering a polite bow of her head before she fully tranisitioned her attention onto the arguing dogs. It was ridiculous how none of them seemed to be reasonable; Pigeon clearly wanted a fight to unfold and perhaps escalate to a certain degree, Jaeger`s words of warning seemed to fall on deaf ears, and Blu.. she couldn`t get a hint, it would seem. Polaris fully stood up this time and wandered over to where the arguing was unfolding, concern and annoyance both glistening in the depths of her blue eyes. ``Is all this arguing necessary?`` Polaris spoke up as she stood to the side, her ears flattened ever so slightly. She did not want to escalate the situation further, so she attempted to appear unsure instead of confident; she would not last long in a tussle anyways, mostly because she would downright refuse to lay a claw or tooth in one of her team members. ``Surely we could manage to.. move on?`` Unfortunately, her intervention had been too late. She could only watch as Pigeon fled from the scene like a wounded puppy. Another frustrated sigh left her as she took on the role of ensuring that the younger dog was alright, casting a glare in both Blu and Jaegar`s direction; those two were always too aggressive and blunt. It was probably why Polaris herself never tried to mess with either of them, knowing what the consequences could potentially be. She found Pigeon near the shed, settling down into a sitting position beside her. Polaris waited to ensure that she wouldn`t scare the frightened canine off before she actually spoke up softly, ``Everything will be fine, Pigeon. It would seem today everyone is simply in a dreadful mood.``

Teufel tilted his head slightly as the she nodded at him before walking slowly towards the arguing hounds. His attention fixed on them, ears flicked forward to hear the words. At least it seemed there was one sensible being on this pitiful team. He was partially convinced that the hand of God had helped them win the last two races, because this was just sad, but maybe this wasn't how it normally was. With a sigh that shook his entire body, he stood and slowly padded over to the male. "Jaeger, correct? I'd suggest you take it easier on the small one. She's obviously been through something." He rumbled quietly, his weirdly light blue gaze fixed on them. . Jaeger huffed as Polaris walked over, his hackles lowering slightly as he tried to curb his irritation. He had been as calm as he could possibly be with Pigeon, right? He hadn't yelled- merely... suggested. Strongly. "I'm not arguing." He grumbled, wheeling away as Pigeon took off. Blu was even more standoffish than him, and it didn't serve her well. Still, he was pissed, to be fair. He looked up as the new dog came over, his eyes narrowing. What did they think they were doing, giving him advice? "I know that- stop acting like you're better than me." He snarled, frustrated as he stalked away. Could this team get any worse? . Teufel watched them blandly as they walked away, then sidled over to the shed and merely poked his head in, having to duck just to see inside. His gaze landed on Pigeon and Polaris. "Jaeger is quite sorry for yelling at you. I'm sure it will haunt his heart for the rest of the day. Regret shows in his expression." He mused just loud enough to be heard, pausing. "And I do hope that everyone isn't acting like this all the time." He added gruffly before pulling back, padding slowly away again. His two cents were thrown into the circle, now he shall sleep or something. He didn't really know. Until they got taken out on the run, he had nothing to do.

| "Thanks new dog.... im pigeon... and you are?" she smiled a little before sitting up. She stood and nodded at Polaris. She peered out of the shed and watched Jaeger and Blu. She wondered if they were laughing at her because of how skiddish she was. She hoped not. Blu was a horrible dog/wolf, she thought. We need a new leader, and it wont be me... She thought. Her mind was jumping everywhere before she realized that one of the dogs was staring at her. |

Blu looked up as teufel approached, her pelt smoothing. "I can assure you that this is a one time thing. Pidgion just likes to cross the line." Her forget me not blue eyes studying the wolf as he walked away. She huffed in irritation not at teufel but at pidgion. She was just a team dog nothing special so why does she have to challenge the other dogs all of the time. Blu jumped up onto a flat rock laying down on her stomach to soak in the sun. She flicked her ears hearing the ATV. Standing up she streached before jumping off her rock and trotting over to the gate she jumped up putting her from paws up on the wire. Her tail wagging slowly as the handler called the hounds up for a run. Blu jumped down from the wire waiting at the gate to go run. Their was some frost on the grass so it would be a bit slick but nothing she couldn't handle. The handler opened the gate up and she stood up shaking the dust out of her thick coat before walking out to the gate and circling the handler at a light run. They put their hand on the top of her head "save your energy for the run windigo!" Blu let out a soft woof at her name. Only her and the other dogs called her blu. When she first came the old lead dog thought windigo was a cruel name for a pup so he called her blu for the color of her eyes. Jokes on him windigo fits her perfectly. With a. Second wood she jumped up nipping at the handlers arms playfully they where used to this and just stepped back to not be crushed by the giant swing dog.

Tahoe Team Dog / M / 5.6 YO -----0-0-*-0-0----- Well, sleeping in didn't seem like something Tahoe could afford now, did it? The growling scuffle outside of the shed in which he had spent his night woke him in little time. The male has squeezed his eyes shut to prolong the attempt at falling back asleep... alas, nothing of the sense came along, and the canine was forced to shake himself awake. Tahoe stood slowly, yawning wide and long with a sharp sigh in his exhale. He stood there silently for a moment, senses taking in the familiar scent of home as his eyes drifted to the pile of warm straw he had curled up in the previous night. Blinking out of the daze, Tahoe's attention snapped to the shed's exit as an unfamiliar voice met his ears. His eyes narrowed suspiciously as he swiftly made his way over to squeeze out of the small wooden exit. The first thing Tahoe noticed was the gathering group of his sled team close to the entrance of the run, their Musher to their side watching... something that Tahoe himself wasn't quite able to see at the moment. The second thing that caught his attention was a surprise. The male had taken a step forward, out of the shed's shadow, and was met with the most horrendous feeling he'd soon have to get used to. The heat. The blaring sun and the foul weather itself were enough to make Tahoe's lips curl into a distasteful expression. He had already been in a rotten mood because he had been awakened oh so rudely... Now this? Lord help the canines that dared to interact with him this early in the day. Padding over to the run's entrance was like walking through warm, wet mud. Disgusting. He could feel the curdling of his skin under the thick double coat of fur he bore. Tahoe had managed to get over there, though, and the sight he was met with was something he most certainly hadn't been expecting. God - I can't deal with this this morning... "Who the hell are you?" Tahoe's growl rang out in a snapping tone, head high as he looked the male in front of him up and down - a sneering, lip-lifting growl finding his expression.

Teufel turned his gaze back to the small dog, ear flicking at her name. "Teufel." He merely stated before leaving. He didn't really want to talk to anyone right now, but he also didn't want everyone to hate him immediately- not that he cared much. It was for the good of the team. Then he was confronted. His head lifted slightly as a male stepped in front of him and snarled at him in a worse way than Jaeger had, being openly hostile and rude. Teufel merely looked down at them, cocked his head, and let out a low rumble that seemed to reverberate from his chest. "Uninterested in conflict. Stay away from me or talk respectfully." He replied flatly, yawning widely as his lips pulled back, revealing sharp fangs. He then paced around them and slowly walked towards the fence, prepared to move when the owner opened the gate. He was kind of sick of these dogs already. . Jaeger flattened his ears, just in a bad mood in general- until the musher called. His gaze snapped that way and he trotted to the gate, tail wagging slowly as he watched with sharp eyes for the gate to open. 1 second, two seconds, 3 seconds. Maybe if he ran he could get rid of all the frustration. This would be fun. His paws kneaded the earth as he waited, shifting back and forth.

Blu was the first one out of the gate as soon as it was cracked she jumped out of the kennel. It was the normal blue was always the most eager to run. She waited for the other canines as the musher got back onto the atv and started it and started to drive. Blu hopped right into a jog next to it biting at the tires to try and make it go faster. Her tail was wagging faster now as she followed next to the ATV. She let out a low woof jumping in front of the ATV for a brief moment before swerving back to the side. Her dark grey coat ruffling in the wind. She let her tounge hang out of her mouth as she hopped over a small stream with gracefully ease. The ATV was still moving pretty slow and she wanted to go faster but she knew she would have to wait for the other dogs to catch up. With a content sigh she veered off to go bark at a ground hog. Chasing it untill it ran down its hole then she ran back to the ATV. Her white face and paws now muddy and dirt streaked.

Star lays down in a corner looking at all the dogs not really up to Introduction but one day she would have to, star yawns as she got up and walks towards water as she reaches down and laps it into her mouth before looking back at the pack and told herself " is okay they are your team members everything would be fine " as she walks towards the dogs and sat down trying to understand what was going on or who was who. Star was analyzing everyone by how they move and how they act before wagging her tail softly before saying " well this is a nice team looks great but I am still a bit nervous about this " as she licks her paw to clean herself, star hope that no one made fun on how short she was and that she was a half breed but it looked like there were other like her half breeds

Tahoe Team Dog / M / 5.6 YO -----0-0-*-0-0----- Uninterested in conflict? Stay away from him or speak respectfully- Who the fuck did this dude think he was? Tahoe gazed after the male in mild disbelief, forehead raised as he let out a repudiate scoff, shaking his head to himself. Had this pup simply decided he was going to enter his team's territory and act like he owned the place? Was that what this was? A low growl rumbled deep in his chest as the male continued his way oh so nonchalantly to the exit. If this was what Tahoe thought it was - if this outsider had decided to ram into the social structures that this team had worked so hard these past years to build up, if he wanted the top, to be "spoken to respectivley"? He'd have to earn it. The revving of the ATV met Tahoe's ears and his idea sparked. This. This mutt wanted respect? He wanted any value in this team? A nice long run aught to do the trick just to prove how "worthy" he seems to put on. Tahoe trotted forward, tail high enough that its tip was grazing his back, head held just as high. The team started to gather around their musher and his vehicle and Tahoe's attention quickly zoned in on the newcomer. His gaze sharpened and a challenging smirk lifted onto that powerful muzzle. The ATV started up, Tahoe's gaze went from the males to the vehical quickly. And he was off. ------------------------------------------------ Athena Training Dog / F / 2.2 YO ------*------ Crap. She had slept in - far too much. Athena - at the scent of her teammates and the ATV's gas engine - the young she-dog jumped quickly to her paws. She barely had a chance to smooth out her bed fur before she was kicking up abnormally warm dirt underneath her. Why was it so warm? As the ATV and her teammates came into view, Athena allowed herself the chance to slow briefly to get a good look at the environment around her. Trees filled with leaves, birds flying overhead as her legs continued to propel her forward. The female had been so busy admiring the nature around her that - Oh! The husky skidded to a halt right before ramming into a familiar figure. Panting, Athena slowed her movements to catch up with the ATM, as it was going a bit steadier now. Instead, turning her focus to the canine to the side of her, Blu. "I nearly ran into you!" The she-dog panted, a grin on her face as the wind found its way through her fur. Her legs continued to carry her at a steady enough pace that she was able to match strides with the female to her right.

Teufel smirked to himself as he caught the flabbergasted and angry look of the dog beside him. Ha. If they wanted to be an ass, he was going to give them hell. At 7 years old, he was both experienced and at the top of his prime, so he was more than ready to fight for what he wanted. When the gate opened, he waited for everyone to walk out before following with slow steps, his blue eyes slowly scanning back and forth. When the vehicle started, his tail flicked slightly, and he drew up right beside the rude male for a split second. "Don't fall behind, sweetheart." He growled quietly, his tone mockingly sweet. He grinned savagely at them before taking off, his giant strides eating up ground like it wasn't even there. Muscles flexed under his rugged black pelt as his paws thundered against the muddy ground, nails digging in for traction. This would be fun. Maybe he could fight along the way, prove that he was supposed to be here, and impress the musher. Killing three birds with his Jaws. Perfect. . Jaeger pranced slightly before the gate opened and the ATV started. He was so closed to being able to run! Finally! Then they were off- and he was about to launch when he saw a massive black blur shoot past. "Holy shi-" He jerked to the side as the new male shot past him at the speed of f*cking light. His eyes widened for a split second before he took off, grinding up the earth, his mouth open as he shot forward, ignoring the fact that the ATV was going slow. Time to go! This would be FUN.
