I um.. need a place to stay for the night... would you manage another person" he chuckled nervously, he stepped away from the door and shot a glare at Lam who had her head peaking through the saddle packs of his gelding. 'It's a girl! Why didn't you tell me!' Nol thought directing his thoughts at lam, lam flicked her tail, 'didnt find it important' her mind whispered back. 'Whatever' Nol said, wringing his hands, 'does something feel off to you? It's like.. magic has been here..' Lam poked her nose even more out of the pack, 'what makes you say that?'
'Well, there's a sort of murky feel around here, don't you feel it?' Nol hissed 'I do, and your right, there is magic around here' Lam peaked one eye out at him and winked, 'i just thought you wouldn't be able to sense it, because.. well, your human' |

Zahra ---x--- Winter age of darkness ---x--- Zahra peered at the boy. He also seemed to not have much experience with people. "Uh..." Zahra said, glancing inside her tiny ramshackle house. "I mean, sure, if you're fine sleeping on the ground... Also, if you snore, I'm booting you out." Zahra replied, not one hint of humor in her voice. "Also, you have to leave by an hour after dawn." She wasn't sure about this kid, but if it was ony one night... What could possibly happen? But what if he saw the dragon? What if he's a dragon killer? Zahra didn't know why she wanted to save the little beast, but she had felt a connection the moment the egg hatched. Maybe something was special about this dragon. Maybe it wasn't a killer. "Come on in." Zahra stepped aside, revealing the dirt floor and wood walls of her hut. |

I will go get my pack" he said, fleeing outside to tie up the gelding and grab his pack, which Lam was hiding very successfully in. Nol walked inside again and plopped his pack on the ground, "so uh.. what's it like around here?" Nol said, eyeing the room. It wasn't in to bad of condition for in the middle of nowhere, Nol unzipped his pack a little, allowing air to slip through for Lam. |

Zahra ---x--- Winter age of darkness ---x--- Zahra nodded at the boy's answer and turned around to make sure the dragon was hidden. He was, and Zahra made room for the boy to walk through the door. She shut the door behind her and walked to her bed. She sat on it, and tried to conceal the little wriggling body from sight. She looked up at the boy's question. "Well, it's really quiet. And, by the way, I think before you ask any more questions you should tell me your name." Zahra said, and meanwhile she heard a little voice in her head say, 'Who's that?' Zahra figured it was the dragon and replied in thoughts. 'I have no idea. Now stay quiet. I don't know if he's a dragon hunter or not.' This silenced the dragon and Zahra could tell that it was worried. 'It's okay' she thought, and simultaneously petted the little creature for a second. |

Nolhend ---x--- Winter Age of darkness ---x--- "The names Nol, Nolhend" he said, "what's a girl with the likes of you doing out here?" He said, tracing the shape of a small dagger blade in the pocket of he sewn pants.
Lam flicked her tail out of the bag, Nol sucked in a deep breath, hoping to distract the girl from seeing it, Nol found himself self-consciously covering the mark he got when Lam hatched. what if she would report him to the dark masses?, Nol tried not to move in case she suddenly could tell he was a rider by the way she moved. |

Aeda ---x--- Winter age of darkness ---x--- Aeda sat under the large willow tree that overlooked the koi-filled pond , suddenly there was a strong gust of wind and a man in a white cloak appeared holding onto a large honey gold rock , that looked suspiciously like the eggs from the chickens she had to collect every morning . " take this child " the man rasped " what is it " Aeda said warily " She awaits , let her be free " the man rasped again ignoring her question "I-" Aeda started to say but the man shoved the rock into her arms and was gone " what the " Aeda said almost dropping the rock the was almost as warm as she got when she sat in front of the fire for too long . Then she heard cracking, her eyes focused on the little rock in her arms , then a small yellow gold head smashed through the rock "Hey that's not a rock , it's an egg . Then it hit her , like a smack to the face " Your a dragon " she said to the little dragon her eyes wide like deep set watermelons in her face. alora ---x--- Winter age of darkness ---x--- "YES, I AM " she said . |

Azai's pov "well I guess I should teach you something other then okay" Azai said rubbing his forehead. "OKAY" Moon shouted in his head "and how to lower your voice as well." Azai glared and Moon glared back "YOUR VOICE" she yelled again "well you learn fast" azai mumbled "fast" moon said not yelling this time "you are smart" Azai said "hungry" "okay I'll get us something" azai went and got a pice of dried beef from his pack "yum!" moon said |

Zahra ---x--- Winter Age of darkness ---x--- Zahra listened to the boy's name, marking it down in her brain. "Hello, Nol. I'm Zahra." Zahra answered, then listened to Nol's question. "I... Live out here? Could you not tell?" Zahra asked, then noticed that the Nol was acting a little strange. Like he was hiding something. 'There's a dragon.' said the voice in her head, and Zahra almost let out a yelp. 'Jeez, stop doing that!' Zahra replied, then realized what her dragon had just said. 'Wait... What? A dragon? Where?' She asked, but she already knew the answer. The boy, Nol, had a dragon. Just like her. Was he a dragon rider? Was he really a dragon killer like she had thought? But then why would he have a dragon? Is it a killer dragon? Zahra's mind hardly ever went crazy like this, and it scared her. "Um, sorry, I gotta go. Be back soon." Said Zahra to Nol, hiding the dragon as she zipped out of the house. Once outside, Zahra let herself breath. 'That was close. Do you think he saw you?' she asked, pulling the dragon from underneath her coat. 'I hope not...' The dragon replied, and suddenly a name popped into Zahra's mind. Arnav. 'Is that your name?' she asked, looking deep into the dragon's eyes. 'What? What's my name?' It asked, and Zahra could tell that he really didn't know. 'Arnav. It just came to my mind. Do you like it?' she asked, hoping Arnav did. The dragon thought for a second, then replied. 'Yes, I do. Just don't call me that all the time. Call me Nav, maybe.' 'Nav. What a nice name. I like it. Thank you, Nav. Now, go hide somewhere so Nol doesn't see you. Hurry!' Zahra shooed Nav away and turned back to the door. |

Azia's pov azai noticed moon was acting wierd "moon whaat's up?" he asked "i hear thoughts but they not yours or my" "ok first of all they are not yours or mine second of all umm that's wierd."
