Farleap shook her pelt when a bit of water flew on her, she got up and moved a few meters away from the water. She watched Twilin disappear then finally pulled out that nasty splinter she ad earlier that day. After almost a hour of laying there under some shaded trees, Farleap got up, streatched, yawned and turned to head back to the Sisters Step, on her way though she began to think about how bad Ares was injured, which lead her to wonder if he'd even be able to hunt. With this thought, Farleap grinded her teeth with yet a new regretting decision. The light coloured Lioness turned and headed back to the watering hole, she stalked a boar, then when the boar least expected it, she'd pounce, tackling it down and ripping into it's throat. Once killed Farleap proceeded to drag the carcass outside the teritory and towards the cave in which Ares and Cyrus had fought at before. Se dropped it and looked around, not seeing him. Perfect. Farleap left the carcass knowing it's scent would woft through the air and hopefully hit Ares' nostrils, she didn't want Ares to know she left the boar there or even hunted it for him. Farleap ran so fast that evening, in a desperate attempt to get back to the sisters step before nightfall. Aaand she made it just as the sun was going down, puffed out. Farleap skipped out on eating and went straight to a nice comfortable spot near the other lioness's and laid down to sleep

Ares was intending to go back to his cave but he didn't make it that far before he had to rest, crouching on his haunches with a pained sigh. His hackles bristled as he heard faint pawsteps, then he relaxed just slightly when he saw Twilin. Yes she could be coming to hurt him more, or even kill him, but it was more unlikely. As she spoke he paused for a second and weighed the odds. Hard cold truth was he needed water or no one would ever see him again, so he stood and followed silently. Pausing just inside the grass he glanced at her. "Why are you helping me. The nicest way I can put it, most pride lionesses I've met are mighty loyal, and I'm not sure Cyrus would approve of this." He asked quietly, his gruff voice giving away the fact he was in pain and badly hiding it.

tiwlin looked up at the big lion "i was prideless most my life and i dont really care what cyrus thinks im honestly only still in the pride for furleap " she replyed with a snort before laying her head in the grass "im also the only one who noticed you at the border of the pride watching it your not the only stalker here ive watched you from the trees and you dont pick fights or even seem to like them" she said before standing up and shaking her fur

Ares tilted his head just slightly as he listened to her explanation. From what he had seen she didn't talk a lot, so this was mildly surprising. And he didn't get surprised easily. "I was starting to wonder if SOMEONE had noticed me. It's not like I was trying to hide." He snorted quietly. "Observant, most lionesses/lions aren't." He added before flicking an ear. He didn't like the idea of being watched, but hey, she was kinda just returning the favor. "Fighting is a useless thing that only gets others hurt. Unless used in self defense, which I've had to do quite a Lot, then it is for show of power or just out of anger. Both reasons are horrible reasons to put anyone in pain." He commented quietly. "In any case, thank you again. You're proof I need to be more open minded- and Furleap is a little, too. Not all pride lions/lionesses are rude. I'm glad I realized that." He smiled faintly at his small joke, barely noticeable, before glancing around and drinking some water.

Farleap found it a little difficult to go to sleep, she kept thinking about how she was, she was nice to the members of the pride, but resented other prides and even prideless. Her whole life she thought they weren't as skilled or tolerable because they didn't fit into her pride, she thought by stories from her late grandmother that any lion/ess that wasn't from this pride were thieves, outsiders, lower ranked in skills, selfish and even stand offish. But she was slowly opening her eyes to the bigger picture, from being restless, Farleap (FARLEAP XD) got up and went to look for Twilin in the pride, when she couldn't find the lioness she shrugged -Maybe she's on a walk- She thought heading to what was left of the zebra carcass she had hunted earlier that day and ate some before going and laying down with the lioness's again. Tis time she tried harder to fall asleep

Ares nodded. He knew that feeling all too well. At her comment about FARleap he smiled a little. "Well then she did her worst to me." He chuckled slightly, though wincing afterward- ow. That hurt. But he'd be fine. He always was fine. "Even though I don't like Cyrus in the slightest I hope he'll be okay. He didn't seem like a bad Mane." Ares finally commented with a small sigh. "He just needs to find a brain and learn when to stop."

The next morning Farleap woke up a little early so she took a quick trip to the watering hole to get some water, she drank for quite some time, she'd almost completely forgotten all the events that went on the previous day. Until she came back to the pride to hear the daily announcements if any. She sat and waited for her job, then went out with some of the other huntress's to hunt food. They had found a small herd of Buffalo just inside the pride's territory, Farleap eyed off a older looking Buffalo and suggested to the others that that could be their hunt. They agreed the older one would be slower and weaker so as a team, they surrounded it, each jumping at it to separate it from the others then working together to bring it down. They eventually managed to drag it back to the pride and dropped it in the usual spot, Farleap walked up to Cyrus and sat "Cyrus, we've managed to take down a Buffalo. I hope that's enough!" She said in her usual proffessional tone, after looking back at the carcass she sighed and glanced at Cyrus "Hey, I'm sorry for yesterday, i shouldn't of lied, it breaks trust. And in the end, yes you were right, it was my fault. But i hope you can forgive me Cyrus, i swear it's never happened before and won't anymore, i should of had more faith in you.. Yesterday THAT was my downfall. I don't even know WHY i lied for... Him. He's a rogue competitor in the end, like they all are, right? I just fell for it, he made me feel bad.. He probably wasn't even in the pride before me..." Farleap said sounding unsure, yesterday she felt bad for Ares, but now she wasn't sure if she should have.. Or not. Farleap stood up to go back down to eat when she remembered someting. Twilin was still missing! Farleap turned around "Cyrus, have you seen Twilin? She wasn't here last night.. And come to think of it, i haven't seen her today either" She said scanning the area for the tall dark Lioness
