June was sick of the boys going at each other's throats. Whipping her head behind her to where Bellamy was, she nipped at his side. “Knock it off! This is not how we treat each other!” Looking at Raina she appreciated her for trying to take care of the team after what happened to Mz and now this fight. “And Bell,” she barked while looking back at him, “you will not do anything to Mz or I will have your tail!” Turning to see Denali June sighed, “We can’t turn around, we are almost to the training grounds. We can get him to the vet at the grounds when we arrive.” As the dogs arrived at the training grounds their paws kicked the snow in a flurry of white powder. All exhausted and tense the dogs lay down in their places taking a breather while Mz was transported to the vet to be looked over. When the musher came back though, a new dog was with him. |

Mz looked around the vets, he blinked slowly, he whined and pressed his body away from the vet, he always hated the hate, because the vet always constantly poked and prodded him around |

Cypress was laying in the grass, a cool breeze ruffling his greyish black coat as he slept. Soon the yapping of annoying dogs woke him, and he lifted his slim head, yawning. His razor sharp fangs flashed in the sunlight as he lifted his lean body off the ground, shaking thoroughly. Cypress perked his ears and cocked his head to figure out why the dogs were barking, his tongue lolling out of his mouth as he saw a human. He lifted a paw and shook some dirt off of it before going right up to the kennel edge, jumping up and resting his front legs on the wire. Cypress let out a couple loud barks... just to make sure this new musher was alert to his prescence. -Not that anyone could forget me- Cypress thought with a tilt of his head, barking one more time, his tail waving gently back and forth. When the musher opened the cage to his kennel, Cypress grinned and dropped to all fours again. He allowed a lead to be clipped on him before following the man, looking around, his eyes sparkling. Cypress noticed a team of dogs that they were walking towards- an interesting team. One looked completely spent and injured, another looked angry, a couple more looked annoyed and tired, and one or two looked concerned. -That's way too many emotions to have without looking like they just heard a funny joke. Poor things!- Cypress thought, his tail lifted into a neutral position. As they got closer, Cypress observed the dogs more carefully. |

Tiger was held by his owner. He had a feeling that this was the end of their partnershio. The night before he had heard his friend and breeder say that he was to much to handle. he didn't like that. But at the same time he knew it was true. he needed someone who would let him fly. He needed a team that understood his need for speed. He needed something different. A different musher came up to them "is this the dog you were talking about bill?" "Yes this is Tiger." Bill said "I hope he's everything you say he is." "He should be. He might look a little rough but he's strong and he's fast." Bill handed the man Tiger's leash. Tiger took one last look and then they were gone. |

Mz layed on the vets bench, Mz watched the vet with narrowed eyes, as much as he hated vets he knew that they could help him. Mz watched as the vet frowned, The Vet picked up Mz and put him on a big white machine, "alright, stay still old boy, just gonna give you a MRI scan" he said, leaving the room. Mz flicked his ears as the loud sound of the machine scanned him, The vet came back into the room, a tick in his jaw, "let me just call your owner buddy" he said, leaving once again. The vet came back after the call and lifted Mz up, putting him in a large cage with cosy blankets, Mz rested his head on his paws and waited. |

Raina looked caution at the two newer dogs. "June?" she walked up to stand next to her. "Who? why?" Raina looked at the new young male and whiped her tail once. She wasn't the best with new comers at all, especially durning training season. *** "Where is Mz?" She paced a bit pulling the gang line looking up at the pusher who held the leashes to the two new males. |

Cypress lifted his head a little, letting out a small huff of air. It seemed atleast one member of the team already didn't approve of him. -Well they'll just have to find out how awesome I am- he thought, then mentally slapped himself. -You are four, wise guy. Chill- He thought with a small breath of air, his fur ruffling in the breeze as his imploring eyes met those of the team. |

Raina looked at him and tilited her head. "Name?" she looked at him her mismatch eyes had a young twinkle with suspition. "I'm Raina." her tail gave a tiny but friendly wag. "Welcome to Astral Leigon." She looked at the grey/white/black male. *** My mother June is our lead dog she adopted me. and you'll meet my mate Spirit when we get back home." |

Cypress's mouth curled into a small wolfish smile as he twitched his tail with triumph, his eyes sparkling wildly with the same spark they had when he was 2. "Cypress. Nice to meet you, Raina." He answered with a mock dip of his head, faking a half bow. Cypress could never resist to either make dogs laugh, or make them angry. Both were fun. |
