"Don't apologize," Emily replied, a sweet smile on her face. She truly did only exude kindness and goodness, even if it wasn't always what she was feeling on the inside. "I know it's tough to lose something you love. And I'm about six or seven years further down the road than you are..." Emily looked down, frowning, before continuing her cheerful tone. "It just takes some adjusting, I suppose. Changing of the mindset. Talking to people helps, too. The guy who teaches the hunter kids is really calm and good at giving advice, I'm not sure if you've met him. His name is Tristan and he's...around. Or Tim might be a good resource," she lied, already knowing that Tim was too deep in his own emotional instability at the moment to help someone else fix their problems. "Or, you know, I don't mind, either..." She returned her gaze to the ground, also bending the truth here. Not only was she a terrible advice giver, but also someone who took the issues of the other person into her own heart and mind. Her mother always convicted her of having too big of a heart. "If you wanted..."

-Heather wanted to take Emily's advice but she felt afraid then she let out a sigh- "I want to open up to you or anyone but..I'm afraid. And I honestly thought that it would be good idea to get another horse to hopefully help me recover from this but..here I am in here while Mystery is with Tim..now I'm honestly regreting all my choices about this but I don't want to give up on her but I don't want to screw her up when she can have someone so much better than me.."

Savannah walked to the barn, warm in her beanie and sweater. Her hair blew in the wind, creating blue swirls. She walked to Avatar's stall, after taking out a carrot from her pocket. "Hey boy," she murmured, enjoying the feeling of her horse's lips snuffling her. She smiled, reaching out to rest her hand on him. "I gotta go, ok? I'm gonna ride another horse today, hey," she said, marveling at his strength. She walked to her school horse's stall, seeing the name, 'Mozart' in brass letters. A cheeky skewbald face popped out, straw and slobber dripping out of his mouth while he chewed. "Hello," she chuckled, as the pony rubbed his face on her jersey. He let out an indignant neigh when she didn't immediately reach out to pet him. "So you're quite the demanding one, eh?" she said, feeling his coarse, knotted mane.

Tim gives a chuckle toward Tristan before his attention turns back to the mare.The way she danced around him - He had to admit it made him nervous.Yes he'd dealt with,Ridden and even evented horses with a history of abuse ; But that didn't mean he was anymore prepared for it.

He stands for a moment,Trying to think of a introduction that may work for the mare.Before long his eyes fall to the floor,and without a second thought - first checking the gate was shut naturally - dropped her reins.The instructor them turns away,Beginning to ignore the mare and mess pointlessly with some poles.It didnt always work - He'd had to wrangle quite a few nutters when this didn't.But it he always seemed to work with the inquisitive ones,the insecure ones that needed that support and company.Tim could sense the mares willingness to please ,It was only masked by her understandable fear.

Tristan finally gets the gelding to a point where he's calmly walking, which prompts him to squeeze the gelding's sides just slightly. Fairue jumps forward, his head high and resistant of contact. Using his seat aids, the young man attempts to keep the gelding on a loose rein, yet he seems unresponsive. Gathering up his reins once more, Tristan attempts to put the Appy on contact, but he is still resistant. He continues trotting him in small circles, figure-eight patterns, and the like until he finally begins to get a response. Then, the pony spooks quite dramatically at Tim's antics with the mare, causing Tristan to look over concernedly. "This feels like a recipe for distaster," he chuckled, regaining his balance and trotting the gelding past the pair a few more times.

Between stealing little glances at the mare to see if his 'trick' was working,Tim had been observing his colleague's attempt at riding the troublesome Appy.

"Seems so."

He says with a chuckle before mumbling to himself,

"Seems this place is good at making those kind of combinations."

The instructor wanders to his Bay,giving his grumpy gelding an affectionate nudge and rub of the whithers.Boomer gives a nicker of boredom,Tossing his head in rebellion to being tied up.Tim couldn't help but laugh,tapping his muzzle with a firm tone,

"Woah - Behave there mister,Dont want to pull your back."

He comments with a light laugh,A warm smile coming over his face as his eyes lock onto his mount in a loving manner.

Emily felt a little guilty for most likely looking visibly uncomfortable, but she made no attempts to move. She heard the girl out before calmly sighing, giving a sympathetic smile. "You're taking too much on by yourself. If you truly don't think Mystery is a good idea, you can probably send her back, that is, if you got a trial on her. But, I think you know deep inside that you want to stick it out with the mare, huh? And you have me, Tim, and the rest of the gang to help. You have a barn family now, so don't put it all on you, yeah?"

Checking her watch, Emily's eyes widened a little. "Now, if we don't get going, it looks like we're going to be late for our lesson on our school ponies. Which one do you have?" The girl attempted to make lighter conversation as she clipped her helmet back on, truly ready to ride at any moment. She grabbed Promise's tack from its respective places, holding the door open so she and Heather could go together.

"I have Khan" -she nervously said with a gentle smile- "but I'll probably have to run to go get Mystery to get her all tacked and groomed before putting her back in her stall while going to grab the arabian to tack him up using his tack if I find it hopefully" -Heather said this while walking out with Emily-

-Mystery watched them cautiously then she looked over at the barn and snorts then she neighed as loud as she could as if she was calling out for Heather to come back. The mare suddenly trotted around a bit, it wasn't long as she was eyeing the fence. Her ears flicked back and forth, listening for her owner's gentle voice-

Emily gave a bit of a confused look, gesturing to the school horses' tack on the wall of the tack room. "All of their tack is over on the wall over there, you shouldn't have too hard of a time." Awkwardly, she excused herself from the conversation and went over to find her pony. She pulled him out and groomed him obsessively until he was just as shiny as Magik and Mya, then cleaned his tack, then tacked him up, cleaned her helmet and boots, then found her way out to the arena where Khlolo would be in the next few minutes. She acknowledged that she was early, but didn't mind. She happily hand-walked the gelding around the arena a handful of times before mounting. She continued to religiously obsess over whether everything was good enough, despite the fact that her hygiene skills were well above what was necessary, especially for such a casual setting.
