Moose pads warily onto a new packs territory, inhaling deeply and scenting the air for information about the wolves. He smells blood, prey and an injured male alpha. He edges closer onto the territory before sitting back on his haunches and letting out a loud, echoing howl that asks for permission to come closer and speak to the Alpha of the pack. He then lays down and waits to see if he'll get a reply.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male +++ Scar perked his ears as he heard a long, low howl, his hackles lifting as he scented the air. "Delightful. Another one." He grumbled, stretching out his neck before responding with a commanding, dominant howl of his own, clearly stating he was the Alpha but that the other male could come closer.

Moose's ears perk up at the sound of a reply after waiting for a bit. He gets to his feet and runs about three-fourths of the way before slowing to a fast walk. Once he comes into view of the camp, he slows even further, looking around in wonder. As soon as he sights the Alpha, he shrinks in on himself as best as he can -which looks funny as he is enormous-and keeps his head lowered, not looking him in the eye, almost belly crawling. Once in front of him, he lays down and waits for the other male to speak as he is the outsider. Edited at February 13, 2025 12:42 PM by Zephyr

Vindaria Female Protector
Vinda met Scar's glance, then looked back to the dog, waiting for the nervous creature to make a response. Until suddenly a loud yet submissive howl wavered through the trees. A growl sprang unbidden to her throat as her fur bristled. Another outsider? What was this, adoption day? Scar's grumbling response to the howl perfectly mirrored her own feelings. His deep, powerful howl seemed to vibrate into the very earth as it sprung from his jaws, bidding the other male closer. Vinda kept a strong wary stance by Scar's shoulder as she scented the male's approach, and soon caught sight of him emerging from the forests edge. He was a large wolf, from what she could tell, despite his obvious attempt at making himself look small. At least he had respect though, and knew better than to approach at the same level as Scar. The wolf's gaze was averted, as he crawled towards them before laying at Scar's feet, silent. His entire mannerism seemed submissive... but still Vinda couldn't help feeling on the defensive. Two new outsiders before them, and they knew nothing about either one.
