Vindaria Female/Protector
Vinda sighed at his extremely pleased look, but had to smile slightly, allowing a slight nod "As I thought" she said simply, then snorted, yet softly, at his grin. He was just so overjoyed that he'd been right, wasn't he! She had to give a slight laugh at his very self satisfied expression. "Well then, I'll leave you to REST" she said, emphasising it very slightly, unable to avoid saying it as she dipped her head and turned to trot back to her post by the entrance. If Scar was going to rest, she would stay alert. She did NOT need him checking out every single little noise, that was her job!

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar was glad he had walked around, glad Vindaria was smiling, and glad the pain wasn't excruciating. "I will REST, DON'T WORRY." He put emphasis on those three words, letting out a small snort of his own before stretching out on his side with a sigh. He should try and sleep. Then he would awaken and eat something. Then maybe possibly walk like 4 feet. Then it should be nighttime and he could sleep again. He closed his eyes with a satisfied look, drifting off.

(I was sooo busy this past week, i didn't have time to come on, so sorry!!! I'm back now!)
Vindaria Female/Protector Vinda settled herself in the mottled shadows by the entrance to the pack's home base, moving her eyes to the dark forest. But still... every few minutes she could not resist letting her gaze shift over to the tall pine tree that stood like a sentinel over the resting Alpha. She found her gaze dwelling for quite a few moments on the dark figure, and she swiftly blinked, moving back to the forest and shaking herself slightly as a warm feeling seemed to rise in her head. Hmm... she should probably get some more sleep tonight if possible. Yes, sleep was good. Sleep was what she needed later. Firmly she kept her eyes trained on the forest, ears flicking this way and that as she forced her mind to stay on the job... and not wander to worrying over a certian wolf's bandaged wounds. Vinda

(That's fine! I'm on vacation right now soo... just chillin <3) +++ Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Darkness swirled around him, crowding every corner of his mind and essence. He let out a yelp of surprise as he realized he was not dreaming- he was awake. His hip hurt from the bullet wound. He could tell it was still there, and he couldn't move. But where was he? It stunk, badly, and rattled loudly. Suddenly the rattling stopped and a weird two legged creature opened something, letting in light. Scar snarled at the creature. It's oder was disgusting. However, he could do nothing as it grabbed him and took him into a white building. Then someone poked him with something painful and he fell asleep. He awoke with a pain in his leg. His leg was wrapped in white. He had SURGERY done on him! That was something for dogs! This was his first encounter with humans. Scar awoke in the middle of the night with a small growl, shaking his head to ward off the memory. He hated humans. He then glanced around before standing, limping out of the camp silently towards the small river outside, then laying down to stare at the water.

Vindaria Female/Protector Vinda kept her watch dutifully until night fell, padding to the river and drinking before returning to her post and laying down, ready to begin dozing, and yet staying alert. Before she closed her eyes, she looked over to the pine again. And the dark figure was still there, laying asleep. She sighed with satisfaction. Good, he was resting. Laying her head on her paws, she did not even realize that her gaze was fixated on that tree... and soon she realized nothing, falling asleep in the darkness of the night.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar stares at the rushing water and his glimmering reflection. His pale blue whitish eye was honestly looking like a mini ghost just hanging out on his face, which made him feel a little better about being half blind. A little. He looked lifted his head to look around, taking a moment to enjoy the peaceful night. Crickets chirped, their song winding through the forest. The river gurgled happily past. The trees leaves rustled. The air smelled like pine sap and fresh water. The moon shone bright, no clouds in the sky on the starry night. Scar sighed with pleasure, glad he wasn't fully blinded. It had been a while since he just appreciated nature, and he was glad he still got to. He lowered his head and closed his eyes soon after, falling into a restful sleep.

(Sorry I missed so much!! I'm pretending that Aspen went with Oak and is now coming back) - Aspen Female Scout - The past week had been hard. The first two days were spent on the road, with Oak leading Aspen through rivers, over mountains, and around canyons. The way was pleasant; no wolves attacking them, no rushing rapids to avoid, but still, it was tiring. The next two days were spent in her old home, a vast open plain with lakes and rivers, defending it. Aspen didn't see her mother or father, and Oak didn't talk about them. Then the last three days had been trekking back to her pack. Oak had come with her for about a day, but then he turned and headed back to camp, saying he was ' needed elsewhere'. And now Aspen only had a few more hours before she came home (she still called it that). - Aspen hadn't seen many animals on her journey; other than the occasional squirrel and bird, the forest was oddly empty. Until she reached a small clearing in the forest, that is. Aspen walked around a tree and stopped, staring. In the middle of a large clearing, about the size of two basketball courts, stood a herd of about 20 deer. Aspen's stomach rumbled, and it came to her that she might be hungry. Aspen located a medium-sized deer a few yards to her left and in front of her, and prepared to attack. - After she filled her stomach, Aspen hurried even faster to the camp. After an hour and a half longer, she came upon a stream, drank, and continued on her way. Another's hour went by. Then another. Then she started recognizing the land. A willow tree there, a puddle here, that tower of rocks in the clearing. Aspen felt giddy, and soon she was galloping through the woods, twisting around trees and stumps. Then- FINALLY- she saw what she was looking for. A hut. A hut from her pack's camp. Aspen slowed to a trot, hoping to make a nice entry instead of barging in at a full gallop. She hardly noticed it was nighttime. Aspen just wanted to be home.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar awoke at the sound of footsteps, his head lifting and his ears perking, his eyes sharp and alert. He didn't sit up yet, because he knew it would be painful and didn't want to do it if there was no threat. What met his eyes made them light up happily as he pushed himself to his feet, forgetting the pain, his blinded eye just as alight as his other. "Aspen! You came back." Scar exclaimed, looking surprised yet still happy. "Was your pack okay? Whyd you come back, not disrespectfully?" He inquired.

Vindaria Female/Protector
Vinda woke a few hours after midnight, a sound in the distance alerting her. She sat up swiftly, scenting the air, eyes immediately alert. For a moment she tensed even more. Scar. Not in the immediate area. Was he ok? Was there danger? Her mind whirled, and then she snorted at herself. Well there was an easy way to know. She lifted her muzzle again and scented hard, eyes narrowed. Then she caught it. Aspen! She had returned! Her tail wagged slightly, and she settled back in darkness of the forest. In a few hours... it would be dawn. And she needed some rest still, if she could get anymore with the knowledge that Scar was moving around. She sighed slightly, then forced herself to lay down again.
