tiwlin shook her head as she walked to the watering hole she stuck her muzzle in the water before looking up at a big male lion who was at the watering hole with a slight growl before leaving him be and walking back to the pride

(Hello! I finally found my way to one of her rps! Okay I'm new to roleplays so I will probably suck, but I will do my best to make it sound like Hyrule Stables! Wish me luck)

(Okay JUST checking. Farleap is a lion which is Hyrule's character, right? If I'm wrong than please correct me!)

Farleap watched the stray male lion very closely as he spoke, keeping a eye on his body language for any signs of hostility, yet Ares (wait Ares? Or is she talking to Cyrus?) Seemed rather calm, like he was unfased by her presence, she half sat as he mentioned her mane's name "Yeah, Cyrus!" She stated firmly, yet with a hint of ease in her voice to match Ares. She was shocked that he claimed he didn't want a fight, she stood fully as the lion said he had the right to drink from this water spot "I guess you're right to drink water... As long as it's not on Pride territory!" She arched. Farleap's mouth dropped, half disgusted because this prideless Lion had the audacity to be sarcastic towards her, but because he smirked she was also half amused. Almost speechless, Farleap sat down trying to think about what to say next, her gaze kept moving from Ares to the sky then to the ground then back to Ares (rinse and repeat 3 times) before finally saying something "Well i never! You want ME to drive you out? Do i look like a male to you!? You just want me to fight you cause I'm smaller than you! Well then, I WILL chase you away!" Farleap announced running around the water and launching herself sideways into Ares in a attempt to knock the larger lion, which miserably failed, resulted in her falling hard on her side, she didn't even move him a inch. Farleap rolled and swiftly got back up, glaring at him acting all tough "Well what are you waiting for? Move it big guy!" She said challengingly with sarcasm in her voice. But to stand up for Cyrus Farleap opened her mouth, showing her sharp teeth

(This is great for someone that's new to rps, don't worry about sucking- I do enough of that for everyone lol. I'm known as the person who roleplays way too much, so I have a lot of time for failure.

Ares flicked the tip of his tail, cocking his head slightly to the side to watch this rather infuriated lioness go off like a couple round of fireworks. Man, he hadn't seen anyone get this mad about his presence in a long time. This was refreshing. It's not like he wanted to make anyone mad, it was that the pride thought they owned all the land they wanted and no one else mattered. He never understood it. Don't they understand how much harder it is to live on your own? At her words he heaved out a heavy sigh. Of course she was going to be like this. He hadn't REALLY meant his last words. He hated fighting. He was just really good at it. Ares shifted slightly before watching her rant on for a while. "Why does the pride matter more than everyone else? Are we not all lions? I, and the other lone lions, just don't have the... privilege, as you would say, to join your beloved pride. No one wants us anywhere. How is that fair?" Ares asked easily, his gruff voice managing to sound gruff, amused, and not emotional at the same time. (Half unnerved? Half amused, even xD)

He waited a while for her to think, which it seemed a lot of pride lions/lionesses had to do, then almost .. ALMOST looked surprised. "No no NO, that's not what I meant. I would never -" He got cut off as she launched himself at him, pretty much bouncing off harmlessly- he had been described as a wall of muscle before, and he was literally the biggest Lion on the savanna, even bigger than their prides leader. As she challenged him with her almost right on sarcastic voice he was a little amused and a little surprised. "I don't want to fight. I'm not going to fight you. You are absolutely right, it would be more than unfair to fight you because you are smaller, or because you are a lioness. However, I'm not moving. If it really bothers you that much that a Lion that didn't have the PRIVILEGE to get into the pride is on your prides territory, then I can't stop you from going to get Cyrus and bringing him out here. However again.." He paused to let weight sink into his words. "I do not like hurting others, but I will if they hurt me first. If your Mane, Cyrus, is brought out here, if he attacks, I have every right to reciprocate your kindness." He said evenly, shaking his black mane before sinking to his stomach on the ground, looking quite comfortable.

tiwlin watched from the other side of the watering hole looking amused she flicked her tail as ferleap turned into a bouncy ball and bounced off of the big male

Farleap backed up a step but kept her claws clenched in the ground, listening as the hefty male spoke, still unmoved. She rolled her eyes a little and growled as she could faintly here Twilin giggle from across the watering hole "Well not that you'd understand considering you don't have a pride, Prideless! But usb pride lions look out for one another, we prioritize our pride mates and help them defend our home... Like SOMEONE i KNOW SHOULD be doing!" Farleap spoke, getting louder at the end hinting to the other lioness who seemed to be hiding (Twilin), her gaze going from the water back to the lion as he spoke some more, her eyes squinted and head tilted slightly as Ares was trying to defuse the situation she was creating. her breathing steadied a little and her claws retracted when she felt the vibe change to a less hostile one, she took a small silent breath, releasing all her anger before paying attention again. Her ears shot back and she let out a low growl when Ares spoke in a darker tone, and her body stiffened once more "Are you threatening to kill my leader?!" She roared, Farleap was on the verge of attacking, her mintold her to fight for the pride's land, but her heart told her not to, she didn't want to get Cyrus hurt. So she held back, instead Farleap roared at him as a warning than swiftly left the area. Farleap couldn't be happier to be back at the Sister's Step (Wow Sister's Step, REALLY?!), She walked over to a warm spot in the sun and layed down to rest
