Aspen Female Scout - Nearly nothing was said in the three minutes it took to get back to the camp. Aspen hesitated before coming out of the tree line, hoping, again, that she was making the right choice. Stop doubting yourself! she thought, and stepped into the clearing. Scar was there, and so was Vindaria. Aspen hadn't really met her before, but she seemed alright. Anybody who cared for Scar was her friend. As they emerged and stopped a few yards in front of Scar, Aspen noticed that he was worse off than she had thought. His wounds were cared for, but his back leg looked nasty, as Aspen couldn't help cringing for him. "Hello Scar. Are you... Okay?" Aspen asked, not sure what to say.

Vindaria Female/Scout
Vinda's ears flicked slightly and she stared into the forest, rewarded a moment later by two golden red coats flashing amongst the trees. She straightened, letting out a soft snort to Scar, watching as two dogs stepped into the clearing. One was a female, so that one had to be Aspen... but who was the second? The male? She rose to her paws, giving a slight nod to the female as she glanced over, and watching curiously as they moved over to Scar.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar perked his ears as there was a rustle in the brush. He attempted to stand, but his leg streaked with agony, so he sank back down and decided not to move. He cooked his head as Aspen appeared with another wolf that looked a lot like her. "I'll be okay." He answered. "Who is this?" Scar asked, looking worried when he saw the wounds on both of them. Aspen Female Scout - Aspen knew the question would come, but wasn't sure how to answer it. When Scar asked 'Who's this?', Aspen wasn't sure she believed the answer herself. "This is... Um..." Aspen glanced at Oak, who had a mixture of curiosity, amusement, and nervousness on his face. "This is my brother, Oak." It sounded so weird in her mouth that she almost took it back and said 'Haha, I'm just kidding! A joke! I have no brother!' But she didn't. "Oak, this is Scar, the leader of my pack."

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male At this answer Scar made a decision and stood up, lifting his head, his thick black pelt laying roughly around his broad shoulders. "Oak. Welcome to the pack..." He paused and turned to Aspen. "No disrespect, but do you have a purpose for bringing him here? Where did he come from?" His gaze flitted to Oak. "Do you want to stay?" Scar inquired, not looking surprised that Aspen had a brother she had never mentioned before.

Aspen Female Scout - Aspen cringed again as Scar stood up. She could tell it hurt, but hopefully not too badly. Aspen listened as Oak said, "Thank you, Scar. It looks like a very nice pack you have here." For once, Aspen couldn't read the look on her brother's face. Aspen was about to answer Scar's question, but Oak interrupted her. "I asked Aspen to bring me here. I wanted to see who she had lived with while she was alone. I come from... Well, far away. Over the mountains. I'm bringing Aspen back to help her old pack. We sort of got attacked. And we think it will again. I'm not here to stay, just to make sure you don't need Aspen with you. So that I won't feel bad taking her home." Aspen was about to interject, about to say she didn't want to leave and that she was needed, but Oak silenced her with a sharp look.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar turned to Oak again as he spoke, his ear flicking a little. He looked surprised as Oak said that they wanted to go back.. that Aspen wanted to go back? No, that Oak was there to take Aspen back. Scar noticed that Aspen wanted to talk, and he also saw the sharp look. "Do you want to leave Aspen? I will not stop you, if that is what you wish, but you will be greatly missed." Scar said quietly ++ (Ghost light- I promise I'll answer I just wanna get through this scene)
