Scarred Thorn The male was now anxious and stressed, the pain in his leg forgotton. He didn't mean to ever push her away! Well, actually he DID at once but he was trying now! Was it really that bad? Should he have stopped and been more serious? Would he have been able to actually get through the conversation? Wait- would Vindaria stop talking to him because of this!? Honestly Scar was EXTREMELY lonely, and even though he pushed others away he didn't want the first wolf he opened up to to leave themselves. And it would be his fault! What did he DO to this stupid world to make it treat him so horribly? Was it all his fault? What had he done wrong? Scar was most definitely fretting over this matter, the anxiety showing in his eyes and the quick flicking of his tail. As Vindaria started talking he dragged himself out of his worrisome thoughts, trying to focus on her words. "But you were right, it was reckless, and that's the thing. I don't hold any value for my own life and I know that's wrong- all I've ever had is bad luck and I don't expect anything different, which is also unhelpful. Whatever you say, however extremely rude and forward it sounds, it makes sense to me and might be the only thing to get through my thick skull." He stopped a moment. "I would risk my hide for any member of my pack, not only because I value myself less than you all, but because I care about you guys. However... shut out I try to make myself, I can't shut myself out completely. I can't change 100 percent, can't get rid of that part of me that wants to talk to someone, to have friends, to actually find someone who does care about me as a wolf instead of as a puppet." Scar sighed. "I always expect and want more than I can accomplish, and that is my downfall. I try so hard to uphold my pack in any way but the way I should. I expect myself to be able to go through a random door and enter the room I want, but there's only one door that leads to that room- and I've been ignoring it for years. Honestly it is too late to have a mid-life crisis and actually figure out my life, but even if I am *special* sometimes, I am not a quitter." He let out a breath to listen to what she was saying. "Your opinionated babbling has helped a LOT. Truthfully. And I may not see how my answers have helped you, apart from giving you material for more opinionated babbling, but I'm glad. That's what I want to do. Be emotionally stable MYSELF which will nevr happen so I can help others." Scar snorted a little at how that sounded, shaking the fur on his head a bit. "You are quite honestly the first wolf I have ever opened up to since I took a downfall in morale, but I'm glad it was you. At least both of us can benefit." He smiled weakly

Felicity studied Bo's reaction to Frostbite, he didn't seem to happy about this wolf appearing... But he did seem more happy about Flick. It just seemed to puzzle her, Felicity's gaze flew to the female wolf as she spoke, her original thoughts disappearing, she shook her head to get rid of the cave dust before answering "My name's Felicity, Daughter of the Starry Moon pack... That lives MILES from here... And you're new? Same. Bo here told me I could stay with him because I was sorta in a bad spot, right Bo?" Felicity's Sonic blue eyes shifted to Bo, her small gold stripe sticking out in the dark "Why did you let me... Stay. I was a complete stranger" Felicity said, her eyes going to the ground

(Y'all, someone needs to come over to where Aspen is, she's getting very bored [actually it's mostly me XD] by herself) Aspen Female Scout - Aspen was still so stunned she didn't hear Oak at first. "Huh? What? Oh, yeah. Wait, going where?" Aspen's words sounded like a foreign language at first, but then she started recognizing her own voice. "Uh, back home? Oh, did I forget to tell you? Yeah, our home is sorta getting... Well, attacked. And the pack leader- Sora, if you remember her- asked me to come get you." Oak explained, looking at Aspen curiously. She didn't know what to say. "But... But..." Oak sighed. "But what?" "I have my own pack now... And I can't leave them." Oak groaned at her words, and replied. "I should have known you'd make friends. Where is this 'pack' of yours?" Aspen hesitated. Maybe this wasn't the best idea. She finally gave in. Oak wasn't the kind of dog to randomly attack people, even though- she though- he kind of just had done that to her. "This way." Aspen said, turning to face the way to the rest of the pack.

Vindaria Female/Protector
Vinda could see Scar had quite quickly become truly serious, and probably for the first time were his words unrefutable in her mind. But still, his words kept surprising her. Hardly ever had her strong opinions brought good results... but here he was, asking her to keep speaking with him. Definitely a first. She nodded swiftly in agreement to his first words, a slight involuntary smile leaping to her muzzle before vanishing. Her strong gaze softened slightly as he spoke of being unable to shut himself out. How she hoped she could help him become more as he said he had been, although she could imagine the shocked expressions on most of the pack's face if he started talking to them of his own accord. "It is so good and brave to value your pack members so... even though you may not wish me to say so, that is one of the strongest values a leader must have, the willingness to throw themselves into danger for their pack." She paused "And you know by now that I care. You are anything BUT a puppet, i cannot imagine anyone attempting to control you now" she said with a slight smile, then silenced to listen again, her ears tilted forward in such concentration to his words, and when she spoke, her voice was far softer. "You cannot expect more from yourself than what you can give, but I hear you. I get it. And I see you are no quitter. You have been battling your entire life... whether physically or mentally. I think your body just doesn't know how to realize that you don't need to battle anymore. There is nothing to shield against, nothing to hide from. Just a pack who cares for you, and would honestly run through fire for you" she said sincerely. Once again a smile flashed over her muzzle at his words "And I cannot see how my opinionated babbling has helped you in the slightest, but I am glad it has done so" she returned, then snorted herself. "You can be emotionally stable, in fact just thinking that you aren't is probably most of the issue" she pointed out, her voice slipping back into her strong old challenging tone.... until his last words. Her eyes softened, a true, voluntary smile coming to her muzzle. "It is reciprocated. All of it. I am so glad you spoke to me, for both our sakes." And in her mind she added And I hope we can have many such conversations in the future, then swiftly pushed the thought away. She shouldn't pressure him. He had an entire pack to speak to. Speaking of which... she tore her gaze from him for a moment, glancing around and realizing that something must have happened while she was unaware, as mingled scents of unknown wolves seemed to almost hang about the area.

(These two having deep meaningful conversation while like 50 new wolves wander around XD) +++ Scarred Thorn Scar was, of course worried about how Vindaria would answer, but also about the pack now. His attention was drawn to it slightly, his nose twitching as he took in the scent of the strange wolf again... and all the other scents. Now he REALLY wanted to get up. +Isn't that just RECKLESS?+ He thought, but he didn't dare say it. Vinda was acting mostly NORMAL again and not trying to leave so they could finish the conversation- Scar looked upon that as a goal he didn't want to miss. "I will take those words to mind, and thank you." He answered quietly, a slight tilt in his head as he listened. +Yeaaaahhh, of course you care as a friend, but I meant the other way. Sheesh that sounds weird now that I think about it+ he thought, trying not to wince. "It wouldn't end well for them. It didn't end well for Lilah, Jock, or Boulder, but I still wish I hadn't had to fight them- I don't like hurting others when it isn't neccesary, no matter what they do." Scar let out a slow breath, his ear swiveling slightly. "I beg of you, do NOT run through fire for me. Either I'm dead already or I got out on my own accord." He snorted, then his gaze softened. A little. "But thank you.. for saying that. It means a lot." He finished quietly. Finally the scents were irritating him too much, and even though his leg hurt, he was going to move. Scar shook his pelt as he pushed himself up with a slight wince, limping over to the middle of the pack and sniffing the ground once. "How could I not SEE a strange wolf just wandering around?" He mumbled, turning his head towards the camp entrance. Time to take a walk. Scar padded that way, going until he heard voices, not too far away. One was Bo's, which honestly irritated him- if Bo had known these wolves were here, WHY HADNT HE TALKED TO SCAR. Scar let out a low breath and entered the cave, surprised to see not one but two female newcomers. "And who, may I ask, are you two?" He inquired with a lift of his head, his body tense.
