Alexander Littlewood | 19 | Nessa, Heather Alex offered a distant nod, directing it at neither of the two women in particular. They both seemed quiet, gentle - sleep-deprived, possibly the reason why they were still with him, and why he hadn't walked on. So different to his previous friendships - Payton flashed into his mind. She was chaotic, almost overtaking him in mood swings and badly judged decisions. Almost. She was the person who brought him here, with her impulsive nature and craze for horses. As expected, though, she had soon floated off with her daddy's money, off to the next expensive fetish. "Death is often the only escape." He had long since drifted away from the actual conversation - if you could call it that - and was now simply ejecting remarks at random, his mind on auto-pilot. "Maybe they were tired." Maybe I'm tired. His thoughts were slowing, slipping just out of reach. Suddenly grabbing a nearby tree, he lowered his head in an attempt to regain stability. "I think - I'm heading back." Alex's voice was shaky as he turned, making his achingly slow way back to the dorms. His thin figure soon disappeared into the snow, finally slipping out of sight. Vikram O'Connor | 18 | M: idek "Well...that was certainly cringy. Good going you complete asshole." He shook his head at himself, narrowing his eyes as he led Favor down the main isle of the barn. Certainly he could find someone to be friends with? Someone who wouldn't judge his snobby exterior. "Like that would happen." Vik scoffed, shaking his head. Seriously, where was all this hopeful nonsense coming from? It's not like he came here to make friends and he certainly wasn't here for a relationship. So why did he feel so empty? Leading his gelding to a patch of nutrient-rich grass, he stood there watching Favor eat. The bay happily ripped the grass into shreds, occasionally glancing up to check for predators. Must be so nice to have all of your needs handed on a silver platter. Wait, wasn't that what happened at home...? The blonde chuckled to himself, tilting his head back a bit to stare at the clouds. "There's nothing to do here without someone to talk to." He decided, glancing around to see if anyone was watching him. If only people that would accept him existed. Even though he had already accepted his lonesome future, there was still a small part of him that hoped. Hoped to find a small star in his darkened night sky. [Voicemail transcript] "Please let me know Laurence, can you take the dressage lesson this morning? Like I said, I'm fine to do it if needed - just please reply!" ............ [Voicemail transcript] "Laurence, where are you? I can't find you on the property...goddamnit say you're okay. Call me, Kay?" ........................ "Shi - I'm so sorry! Been in my own bubble a bit, I promise I don't usually run into people." Kholo offered a faint smile at Lorenzo, her eyes still dark with worry. "Though funnily enough, I was looking for you. Laurence isn't answering his phone and he was supposed to take the dressage lesson this morning, and my schedule is packed. Please for sanity's sake say you'll be able to do it." Her tone was serious now, underlying her night of stress. Wip Edited at October 26, 2020 02:09 PM by Tanglewood

Audrey Voss | 19 | Royal & Zeus| . Audrey made her way out of the barn and hopped in her truck. She was so tired and worn out she just needed to get away. She started to doze off in the warm seat and then her phone rung. She jumped and looked down at the caller ID. Her father, a drunk, and a ex eventer. She answered and listened to his foul language and hate towards her before hanging up. She leaned forward and hit her head on the steering wheel. She started the truck and took off down the road. After a while of driving she passed a car flipped over with ambulances on the side of the road. She shook her head and kept driving. Audrey drove into the local town and hopped out at a local pub. She walked in and ordered a beer. The bartender looked at her, trying to determine if she was old enough before handing her the drink. She let out a long breath before picking up the glass. She drank several more before getting back into her truck and heading back to the barn. . She hopped out of the truck and headed back to Royals stall. She sat outside the door and dozed off, unaware of anyone else in the barn.

Heather Proudstorm | 21 | Eventing | Esspresso Silhouette "Mystery" and Titanium "Storm" | School Horse: N/A | Pet: Toby the German Shepherd | M: Nessa, Open -The brunette watched the man walking away in silence, she looked over at Nessa while putting her phone away in her front pocket- "I uh...I should probably get going. See ya whenever I guess.." -The young woman said this while turning the mare around then rides off to go deeper down the trail while Mystery cantered, her hooves leaving prints on the snow while Heather didn't want to look back....she kept looking ahead as if she was tempted to just run away from everything- -After a while of riding down the trail, the mare suddenly stopped in her tracks which caught the woman's full attention- "What is it, Mystery?" -she softly said to the mare, gently petting her neck before feeling cold chills down her spine when hearing a phantom sounded neigh. Heather sat up straight on the bare back pad, letting her tired eyes searched the area around them while Mystery was doing the same thing as her rider, the brunette kept looking until her eyes fell upon a familiar sight, a ghostly figure of a large horse stood that stood a few feet in front of them but her mind was racing, tears started to form in her eyes as finally but softly choked out- "P-Prince..?" -The ghostly steed let out a phantom sounded nicker, as if it meant yes to answer to the name that he was called. It felt like hours that she spent outside on the trail with Mystery and the ghostly horse figure until the phantom steed had to leave her once more time, she wiped her tears away and gently smiled towards the ghostly gelding- "I'll miss you my friend but maybe we'll see each other in another life.." -The horse bowed his head a bit then reared up, letting out a ghostly neigh to say his last and final farewell before turning quick on his hooves then disappearing into the unknown, she knew that this was the very last time that she'll ever see him again. Heather turned Mystery around while saying- "Come on girl, let's go back home to you warmed back up." -she said this before riding the mare off into a canter, heading back to the facility- Edited at October 27, 2020 09:22 AM by Aspen Fire ES

Timothy / M: Em. . "I wouldn't call it a party.. Or a dream either." . The blonde gave a boyish grin,Watching her quietly while flitting between her and his thoughts. Was he dreaming? His blue eyes watched her fail to pack the snow, giving a nod and wandering to her side, hands letting the little white ball he had managed to pack fall back to the earth. The surroundings were quiet and serene, giving him plenty of time for thought as they walked along, for how long he didn't know but it was enough to make his feet numb with the cold,so much so they hardly ached from the distance he had covered earlier in the day.It was probably a mix of this and the decreasing levels of intoxication in his system that prompted his next move.He knew as the alcohol faded,so would her chipper mood. And any courage he had stored up somewhere. . "Em." . He slowed the pace of his steps, pausing and turning to look at her to ensure he had her attention.Or maybe just to clutch at what bravery he had. . "I don't think I want to wait until tomorrow.I don't think I can live on my own anymore. - And I really don't want cats." . His words were gentle and a little nervous,no doubt nieve and slightly slurred.Tim had given a slight smile, meeting her eyes before cupping her face in his hand and brushing his lips against hers. The blonde was certain he had stopped breathing for a few moments, her skin soft and warm in comparison to the flurries of snow drifting around them.He lingered for a moment before stepping away, his nerves finally setting in.For the time being they were largely subdued by a bigger sense of adoration and maybe what could be described as ecstasy. Now he was certain it was a dream. . (So Sorry for the delay,Not going to lie I struggled so I hope this makes sense and doesn't feel rushed <3 )
