Deliah - She smiled then looked around the camp, which was still mostly asleep, for Scar. He was nowhere to be seen. "Have you seen Scar? I haven't seen him and I don't think he's in his den." She paused to think. What if Scar was in danger? And she wouldn't be able to help him? She told herself that he would be fine, he was alpha after all and settled down next to Vindaria. "So, what's your plan for today? Any chance I could tag along?"

Vindaria Female Protector
Vinda smiled, looking over as Lupin joined them then continued into the woods. She sighed slightly, then frowned at herself. Any wolf could go find him if they wanted, she didn't have to. Turning she followed Deliah, then swiftly answered her questions. "I believe him to be in the forest, I was following his scent when I bumped into you" she answered, sitting down as Deliah did. She laughed slightly "Oh I haven't had time really to get a plan down" she said "Although I was going to attempt to find Scar" she added hesitantly. She doubted he'd want three females barging in on his space at this point.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Padding over to the spot by the river Scar had been laying at, he winced a little as he laid down to eat the rabbit. Usually whatever he brought he would bring straight back to the pack, but he hasn't eaten for days now and there seemed to be plenty of food already there. After quickly finishing the animal, he waited for a couple minutes before deciding he'd best go back before anyone got worried. Not that they really would. Scar shook his thick black pelt and stood again, limping back towards the camp. He was thinking about what might've caused the flashbacks now, and he racked it up to that thinking about getting a mate had reminded him of his former life, which in turn triggered more bad memories. Scar had been hiding from them for so long, when they did come back, he was unprepared. He lowered his head slightly and looped around the the small entrance to the camp, going through to find most of the females talking. That was a good thing... Vindaria definitely needed to talk to someone other than yours truly, Mr. Reclusive. Silently, Scar slipped away from the chatting group and towards the pine he always laid under. Doing the same now, he laid down, too pained to sit, and watched from the shadows.

Deliah - Deliah was getting a little worried. If Scar was attacked? Then what would happen? "I would've gone too but I was put hunting." "Hmm..." She watched Scar limp back into camp and settled down to watch the pack from the shadows. "Did... something happen?" She was careful not to intrude and she especially didn't want to sound nosy. "Scar looks a bit upset, in a way?" The deputy busied herself with grooming her messy black and white pelt. It felt slightly awkward to talk to Vindaria. As if she didn't know what to say to her anymore. Hopefully things wouldn't stay like this for long. ~ Flutter - Flutter's blue-grey fur was ruffled by the wind. She'd heard earlier that a she wolf had come to join the pack, and old friend, but itist have been before Flutter had joined. Alert and keeping and eye put just in case, she made her way from the stream back to camp. She saw an unfamiliar wolf next to Deliah. That must be her. Flutter hesitated. Instead she went over to a nearby bush and sat down. With any luck, she'd finally be brave enough to talk to her. Flutter put her head on her paws, wanting to avoid the pack. Why did she have to be so shy?

Vindaria Female/Protector
Vinda nodded "I assumed he would still be in his den, but he wasn't when I awoke" she said, then noticed Deliah's glance and followed it, giving a slight sigh of relief as she barely was able to make out the form of the Alpha laying in the shadow of the trees. At the female's question she looked slightly surprised and mildly uncomfortable. Had she made Scar upset? That pained look flashed to her memory again and she swiftly glanced down at her paws "Well, besides him taking a bullet for me, I'm not sure. I think.." she paused. This seemed personal... should she be sharing this? But Deliah was his beta... "I think he's just been remembering some stuff" she said quietly, her pale green eyes glancing back up to the Beta, then back down as she curled her bushy silver grizzled tail over her paws.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar curled his tail around his back paws with a small sigh, already feeling fidgety and bored. However, he didn't want to sleep... not now, anyway. Not a wimp or scaredy cat for sure, but those memories were haunting, and they were only getting in the way of him and the pack. He didn't want to seem grumpy and distanced all the time, especially even more so than he already hd been. What could he do to help? He flicked an ear as he thought, trying to look less like a murder statue and more like a thoughtful, alive wolf. After a while Scar stood and stretched, wincing as a sharp bolt of pain stung his leg. He walked over to Delilah. "Have you sent out any patrols lately? I thought I scented some coyote around the perimeter, so it would be great if you could send out 2-3 wolves to do a quick sweep. Thanks." Scar instructed quietly, already attempting to be a little more involved. He had noticed the prey pile was full, so he didn't push for a patrol to fix that.

Deliah - Deliah looked up at Scar in surprise. "Good to see you're back to normal." Still, the smallest part of her felt like something was wrong. "No, I haven't sent any patrols out yet. I'll go check that coyote scent. Vindaria, want to come along?" Deliah was trying to include her but what if she was trying to hard? She didn't want to seem like she was forcing her. Ugh, see...this was why Deliah wasn't good at social things. Deliah's tail tip twitched. She turned to Scar, tilting her head slightly. "Are you okay?"she asked quietly.

Scarred Thorn Alpha Male Scar swiveled his ear slightly and cocked his head. "I .. wasn't normal in the first place?" He asked, trying to... he didn't even know what he was trying to do. "Thank you." Scar repeated when Delilah confirmed that she would check that out. He would himself if it wasn't for a couple things, mainly the wound in his hip, how the blood would attract the coyote's, how he was in bad shape to fight, etc. As Delilah asked her question, right before Scar was about to leave, he paused and thought about how to answer to make his lie believable. "I've been better, but I'll be perfectly fine." He tried a small smile to enhance the words that were not entirely true before walking back to his pine tree.

Deliah - Deliah snorted. "I guess you were always a little strange." She watches him closely as he paused before replying. Deliah nodded but knew Scar was lying. His words were barely convincing and the smile was fake but she decided to leave it. She waited a few more minutes before heading out into the forest. Scarred Thorn Alpha Male At the rather blunt comment Scar rolled his eyes. "Ever wondered about the reason I'm *a little strange*?" He muttered under his breath, curling up with a small huff to watch the pack, listening, observing. He could tell Delilah did NOT buy his lies, but he didn't care. No one would understand. With this thought he felt a pang of sadness... no one would understand, AND what if they were just pretending as well? If this whole thing was just a giant prank? He lowered his head slightly and closed his eyes, trying not to let his sorrow show. Scar didn't understand why he couldn't get over it, but he new, he was soft on the inside. In his opinion, he just pretended to be okay- he was really just a wimp. And nothing more.
