Raina hit the brakes and growled "Slow down June! Damnit my shoulder." Raina looked up as the sled turn and she got way to close to the water, her eyes widened and she yelped pushing away. "Oh my gods!" she continued running much slower almost a limping sprint. |

Mz noticed Raina and put all his weight to his back end, slowing the sled, "June! Hold up!" Mz barked, his bark sounded rough and angry, Mz was angry at June for not paying attention to her team, it was a quality skill needed when being a lead dog. |

Denali skidded to slow down as she heard the yells, she already was a bit down from being placed as a wheel, and now we are slowing down, she thought. No, you can't be upset, Mz and Raina are injured, don't be petty Denali. She panted and watched her breath steaming up into the air as they jogged along, waiting for June's command. |

Cypress flinched and tucked his back paws up under him cringing a little. +Whoops+ He thought, pinning his ears at the angry yells that rang out from around him. He slowed his running pace, pulling against the harness slightly, falling back into a comfortable lope. Cypress glanced back at Raina and Mz, hoping they were okay. From the sounds of it, Mz was puffing like a freight train and Raina just cried out in pain. |

Denali slowed to a trot and sniffed the air bored, she wondered if Raina's shoulder actually hurt that much , or if Mz was struggling again. She felt bad for the pair having to run while suffering like that. She was too busy thinking to notice a thorn got jammed in between her paw pads. She hissed air in as she suddenly felt it swelling but she didn't saw anything as it was just a thorn. |

Once everyone stepped alongside the lake June began panting. What in the hell- she thought looking back over the water. June had never done that before she was usually a very focused dog. Looking over her shoulder at the team she noticed Mz and Raina weren’t really doing good and something was wrong with Denali. With her ears and tail down she whined a little. “Sorry everyone…” |

Denali tried to hide her swollen foot as much as possible, but the thorn was digging deeper in with every step, making her tail tuck, but she bit her lip instead of saying anything. |

Raina looked over at the water and at back at Denali. "Paw let me see?" She panted "June can we like go away fro the water??" Raina absoultely hated water since when she was young almost drowned. |

Cypress waited silently and halted as the rest did, knowing he wasn't part of the conversations and no one really cared what he thought. He swished his tail slowly, still feeling just fine. Maybe he could escape and just run for a little after they were done training- in the middle of the night, perhaps? In any case, he wanted to run. |

Tiger skidded to a stop. He was shocked. -What happened- he thought. Seeing that Mz and raina were not doing well and that Denali was hurt he sighed. This was going really well already. |
