Timothy / M: Nessa. . The blonde had let out a huff grunt as a woman stumbled straight into his chest,Winding him momentarily. He noted as he caught his breath that she was a sweet looking thing, young and vibrant with a glance - but mainly that her face wasnt one he recognised. It wasnt often now a days he found himself even looking at other women, his eyes being pretty firmly elsewhere,so he hardly found himself registering the reddening of her cheeks or length of the handshake ; Simply putting it down to the American heat. " New Feet? - You can swap and change them when they get worn down? " Tim offered a good-natured grin, watching her with a slight curiousity. She seemed innocent enough, and he guessed from her demeanor Nessa would be a timely addition to the Centre,Part of him liked the way she was so demanding to know his name. The intense look of hers was something very unnatural to him though, and part of him simply wished that would improve.A new person thing perhaps? "Timothy Blue - But I guess you can call me whatever you like.. - I cant really stop you,you know?" Was he blushing now?Yes. - But not for the usual reason, simply because of trying to clarify that he wasnt flirting,Nor had he intended to.It was his usual talking without thinking tact, and it crossed his mind again as it did daily now that one day he would become wiser and mature enough to hold the instructor title...Just perhaps not yet. His translucent eyes werent quite as dull as they had been a few moments ago, flicking to the aisle to scout it.It was largely empty he noticed with a sigh of relief, the perfect environment for the procedure, "You been here long?I dont remember seeing you around?" Tim questioned, taking a few steps up the corridor but at a pace she could follow if she wanted. He wasnt forceful in the guesture though,His manner giving her an easy escape route. In fact he half hoped she would leave him to think, not because she irritated him, rather because the time baking had left alot on his mind.

there's sooo much drama omg. Nessa likes Tim who likes Emily but she has a boyfriend who doesn't love her and...and... I could really keep going)) Nessa giggled. Wait, giggled? "Timothy it is," she conceded. She liked the way the name sounded when it was used to reference him. She only liked him more when a reddish tinge blended into his complexion seamlessly, making him appear more boyish. This brought an even more charming smile to her lips. "This stable? No, only the last five minutes," she retorted quickly and with a mirthy spunk that normally enticed people. It was her only party trick, the only one she'd ever had to learn growing up on a rural farm with no friends and fourteen siblings. "I'm kidding, of course." She had decided not to fully follow him, simply to inspect the horses in these stalls. Why she had come into this barn--besides a stroke of fate--she had long forgotten, and it was easier to pretend to have purpose than to admit what she lacked. Besides, Nessa McDermott did not chase even the most attractive boy--she would simply do everything but. "We've been here a few days," she replied, "my brother and I came to see what kind of eventing opportunities may lie in America, we're from Ireland. And it sounds like we may have similar stories? I like your accent." In truth, she didn't know many Brits, but she could identify one by the accent any day, just like any other language. From what she had seen in movies, they were quite charming, though her brothers always told her not to believe everything she saw in movies. They also said not to believe in fate or true love, and she still did. "How long have you been here?" Although she wanted to control the conversation and create some kind of far-too-early exit that could be deemed a 'power move,' Nessa was too drawn to the man, and she'd told Darraugh she would make a friend, hadn't she? So what if she didn't want to limit him to the label...

Its flipping everywhere xD So exciting >:D I feel like Emily Vs Nessa is just going to be a battle of how happy they can be xD ) . Tim / M: Nessa. . Offering an amused smile,Tim turned to glance at her momentarily with a nod of agreement, "I thought i recognised the Irish Twang - It is strange how America seems to attract us Europeans like flies huh?Dont tell anyone but its nice to hear a familiar accent, and someone that knows a serious eventing course no doubt." The blonde couldnt help but give a cheeky chuckle, his words ringing true.It didnt seem to matter how long he remained in this country, the whole culture and everything enraveled in it would never become a regular thing to him. Each accent was new and foreign with every conversation he had,so Nessa's voice was like music to his ears, untouched so far by Americanization.Tim also couldnt help feel elated at the fact his English accent was still evident, and so nearly immediately warmed to the young woman more. . "Oh - I dont-.I'm not even sure how long I've actually been here ..-" The young man had to pause for a moment, glancing around before getting his bearings and making his way to his gelding's stable, "Obviously not long enough." He chuckled gruffly, running his hand down Dew's head and rubbing below his forelock. For once the gelding leant into his touch and let him disrupt his schedule for one little scratch before returning to pull at his net , alternating between this and watching the barn's activity by thrusting his head over the door every minute or so.It was a restless routine that gave Tim a sense of amusement and relief in knowing this was actually the thoroughbred being relaxed. Having introduced himself, and considering Aidan to now be a familiar face,Zander had continued his way along the path to the dorms on the mission to unpack his stuff.Usually, the young man rather looked forward to exploring his new home from home,But he couldn't shake the feeling of impatience running through him.The reason he had actually come to White Oaks in the first place was in a place unknown to him right now,and Zander was desperate to try find her.No doubt in her room applying make-up,despite only just being discharged from hospital, he had thought with a reminissant smile.
**
After speedily unpacking his stuff, the raven-haired man had asked someone of Sam's whereabouts - which to his suprise was largely successful.Zander had decided to take the hike rather than drive, partly regretting it's similarity from his weekly training routine. ' You have to be fighting Fit Alex - That's what Cross Country Riders are.Warriors. ' The words of his grandmother carried with him a great deal of importance,So on this thought the journey to the flat didn't take that long at all.
. Great. Door locked and no answer. He figured Sam was either out, Dead or Asleep - and immediately concluded it wouldnt likely be the first two as he would have known about it by now.Running a hand through his hair, and promptly getting it stuck in the tight curls he had made a decision to walk around the ground floor,Tapping the panes of glass with his knuckles. To the odd looks he got,Zander had simply offered a charming smile and uttered something about checking the 'knockability' After a few minutes of tapping a curtain was finally withdrawn,Showing a rather bewildered Sam peeking out from behind it.He had heard a; rather excitable squeek,Before the window was thrust open rather clumsily and almost hitting him square in the nose. The strawberry-blonde hadn't been fazed, her eyes bright and thin lips making a smile.Despite her weak appearance,Zander had promised himself not to take notice a few hours ago,to act and treat her as normal. He couldnt, and didn't expect the urge of protective nature that wove itself through him as he watched her with friendly eyes, "Are you coming in then or are you just going to stand there doing that stupid look?" . He felt a wide grin pass over his features at the woman's remark,She really did never change. With this he managed to clambour through the window, and pulled it shut behind him before glancing around the room. His hazel eyes had fallen back to Sam,who was watching him intensely from her seat on the bed.He was used to the look on her face,to anyone else a look of distane but he knew well by now she was simply thinking. And there was no way better to find out what it was than ask. . 'What's up - Surely you haven' missed me that much you';re speechless." . "Don't flatter yourself - Just trying to work out what i saw in you." .< The pair both gave a wider smile still,Zander offering a chuckle and Bob of the tongue before Sam,now lightly blushed likely from the effort of moving around had leapt up and leant against him.The words tumbled easily and energetically from her lips, eyes occasionally flicking to him for reaction. . "Cup of tea? You'll have to bare with me as I dont actually know my way around yet.. But He has a kettle somewhere I';m sure." . Zander hadn't had time to protest or ask regarding the mystery 'he' as Sam began to March him toward the door with all her remaining strength. He knew better than to fight her will, especially in the state she was in already where he saw her flinch with every step,So moved where she guided him. . "So what've you been up to?Any girls I should know about?" . Gawd this woman.. Edited at October 9, 2020 02:42 AM by Flipperruby30

this is called "rish has ten minutes to put as many words on a page as possible" Em / people Emily had gone back to the house with Laurence after their walk, and to their surprise, a new car was in the driveway parked beside hers. "Were you expecting guests?" She chirped brightly, not overly enthusiastic but in her constant state of exuberance. "No," he replied in a very frightened tone. The truth was, since his parents' divorce last fall, he had been living in fear. His dad was abusive and alcoholic, and his mom was bipolar and schizophrenic. His sister had the ugly traits of both, yet somehow blamed him for everything. He'd moved mainly for the sake of getting his family to stop compulsively ringing the landline at White Oaks, which was becoming a massive embarrassment to him. Everything was regarding them, it was why he'd moved out. Seeing an unfamiliar car in the driveway made a shiver go down his spine. Especially with Sam being his responsibility now, he couldn't believe he'd left his guard down and could possibly lose her again. He had no idea the cause of her disappearance or any of the details--he didn't care as long as she was safely in the room next to his. He knew she wouldn't let him protect her for long, but he would do it dutifully until her vulnerability blossomed back into fierce independence. It was a period of regrowth, he mused, for both of them. As they entered the house, Laurence called down the hall, unable to fully hide his tone. Emily was the voice of reason, saying it was probably someone from White Oaks coming to check on her, but he was terrified of his family, terrified of what they would do if they could track him down again. His whole life was lived in this unruly fear, which is why he chose his husband. His husband was a protector, a free spirit like Sam. He was clothed in independence, fearless and dauntless until the day he had died. Seeing Sam like this reminded Laurence of his husband's final days. "Sam? Are you okay?" He didn't notice a struggle, only an unfamiliar voice. As he came down the hall, he saw an unfamiliar man at her bedside. He couldn't help feeling bewilderment and jealousy all at once. He swallowed it down. "Ohmygosh, you must be Zander! I've emailed you so many times, it's so nice to meet you in person!" (no time lol, assuming Emily and Zander corresponded about turning Mickey over)

xD 10 years time it will have it's own museum exhibit Loll) . Samantha / M: Zander,Laurence,Emily,Open. . The strawberry blonde had been deep into a fit of giggles as the front door had opened and a voice bounced around the walls, followed by another feminine one trying to speak sense into her counterpart- who it belonged to peaked her interest instantly.Had he had the nerve to bring this new mystery woman with him?Even so,Sam couldn't find the breath to call out a reply, already winded from being weak without Zander tickling her funny bone (metaphorically LMAO).The young woman was sat leant against the bed board,Zander turning from her tear stained face to look at the pair of arrivals. Of course it's her. She watched with a largely unimpressed expression, the joy fading slowly from her features as he offered Emily a curt grin, her meanwhile wiping the water from her eyes and trying to regain her composure.Sam couldn't actually remember now what had been said,it didn't matter almost as she watched Laurence and Zander simultaneously cast an eye over one another, ' And you - You're even more eye catching than you gave away in your emails hmm?' She watched him from the corner of his eye extend a hand in greeting to the blonde,But her main gaze rested unintentionally on Laurence. It was odd,how she never seemed to read his expression - always having a poker face on hand. There was a coolness to his eyes she noted,But his general demeanor was normal.Grumpy nonetheless but wasnt he always like that?Wasnt that distant nature what had caught her eye in the first place?Whilst Emily and Zander exchanged pleasantries, her gaze had remained on him,a mixture of concern and frustration. It took her a moment to realise his eyeline had actually moved to her, meeting his eyes before fully coming away from her thoughts. As he noticed her watching she offered an eyebrow raise as if to push off the notion her eyes had been watching him altogether,Lips Puckering slightly at the weirdly harsh nature of his irises. She wouldn't have this - What right did he have to who she saw?Her tone was sweet but held a hint of danger - Daring him to push her.Sam suddenly felt the urge for conflict pushing over her excitable mood within an instant, "We were just having a cup of tea - Care to join us?" . (I so want them to bicker,Its unbareable the urge I swear. Why can't there just be a lovely happy couple? <.> Lol ) Edited at October 9, 2020 04:12 PM by Flipperruby30

Zander / M: Same group. . The raven-haired man hadn't noticed the sound of voices at all being so enraveled in his and Sam's discussion that when the door was opened it was an incredible shock to his system. He turned to the doorway to find a fairly unfazed figure standing in it,although there seemed to a hesitation to this man's composure as soon as his gaze had rested onto the pair.Zander watched a pretty little Blonde emerge from behind Laurence,Finally understanding why so many young men moved to this part of the world. Her excitable introduction couldn't help rub off on him,as he presumed from Sam's joyous behaviour it had on her too. " And you - You're even more eye catching than you gave away in your emails." He complimented smoothly and effortlessly,Smile genuine and innocent.Zander's gaze flickered to Laurence once more, who he thought looked rather Gollum like in this moment before exchanging a few more words with Emily. He could see from the corner of his eye Sam and the man exercising some silent communication - and could feel just from personal experience Sam beginning to become agitated. And that only spelt trouble.Fairly eager to escape what he was 90% sure would follow,he stood slowly and gestured to his mug with a forced chuckle, "All out- Best make a new pot." He smiled tamely,Taking Sam's mug gently from her hand although her gaze hardly even shifted to him. "Wouldn't want anyone getting bledgened just yet.." He murmured under his breath before heading to the door. His brows furrowed as Laurence took a few moments to move,But he brushed it off easily as some American trait. After all,What did he know of this culture?Perhaps mug throwing was a custom sport here?... . (I think I like lil Zander already. So much for getting Sam to calm down and Mellow after all this though,I'm afraid Laurence has his work cut out xD)

Tyler Parrish / Olivia L. Tyler sat across from Olivia, casually sketching dimensions of some sort. It wasn't uncommon, his mind worked in structures and boards and projects yet to be built. It would only be a matter of time until he found a way to work with the staff here that built the cross country and showjumping fences. His left hand held the pencil, his right was placed next to a half-eaten sandwich on a plate. It was around the dinner hour, and the hall was crowded. But, rules were rules, so Tyler was forced to remain in the busy building until he and his friend were done eating. The albino blond wasn't helping himself much by procrastinating, but he was keeping entertained. After some period of silence and idle sketching, Tyler looked up at Livvy, his eyes full of boyish mischief. He grinned. "You know what I think we should do?" He asked as if he were not going to reveal it moments later, as one does. "I think we should make a bucket list of things to do before this year ends. Are you in?"

loooolll you really do, don't you XD)) Laurence + Emily / whoeva Laurence was certainly not pleased to see a man in his apartment--if one could call it that--but Zander seemed nice--and familiar. "Zander, as in, cross country rider Zander? You know Sam? And Emily? Quite a popular guy," he muttered in the ghost of a tone that could be mistaken for passive aggression. "I'm Laurence, your teammate." Emily gave a cheery but surprised look in Laurence's direction, then settled her gaze back on Zander. He was charming and admiring, but he had an air of independence about him. She liked that, it made his affection not inhibiting. "Laurence!! You need to tell me stuff like this? What team?" "Some new eventing style competition Kholo is dabbling in, Zander probably knows way more about it than me. I'm just a humble fill-in, I'm certain I was her last call," he replied with a genuine smile, still standing in the doorway beside Emily. She was texting someone. Tim, he assumed, or maybe Tristan. As a lull in the conversation came over, Laurence inquired, "have you met Therese yet? Em and I were headed back over to the farm now, I was actually coming in to see if Sam wanted to come for the ride. I had intended to introduce myself to you both in person." --- Time went on, and the group made their respective drives to the barn. Laurence offered for Sam to come once again, and she agreed, but only on the terms that she would go with Zander. He was not surprised. She was being difficult as she once had been, and it had only been a few hours. He was trying his best to be patient and 'low maintenance,' as he had been told long ago was what people desired, but he was getting increasingly annoyed. Perhaps a drive alone was what he needed afterall. Upon arrival, Emily texted Tim, only after wandering around like a kid in a candy store introducing herself to so many new people. [Emily]: hiiii!!! i'm sorry i took sooooo longggg!! i'm back, i made like ten new friends!!!! are u and H done with Storm? I was thinking of having some kind of get-together on property here tonight for all the new people?? but i don't know if i can get it done on time?? maybe we are just better off hanging out by ourselves tonight and then having a party for them this weekend?? thoughts?? :):):) Laurence, knowing that Zander and Samantha had gone to see Mickey together, and knowing that Sam was now purposefully trying to either set him off or make him jealous, likely both, had set off to find Thérèse, who he'd texted a few moments prior. He also wanted to go see his horses, who were all being used in the dressage program due to his absence, but knew they were in the same barn as Mickey, and decided it could wait. Seeing a beautiful, beautiful blonde woman approaching him with a smile, he couldn't help but feel a bit sheepish. It wasn't really her beauty that was making him uncomfortable, it was the fact that she was approaching him. For a moment, he felt like an awkward teenaged boy again with all the girls at his school chasing him. He often thought those initial experiences paired with his awkwardness and anxiousness around people was what had acquired him a husband rather than a wife the first time around. He did not have the personality to endure being as attractive and athletic as he was at the time. And now he felt like a nobody, which was quaint, but he much preferred it. "Laurence?" "Therese," he replied shyly, a little starstuck. He hated every second of it, especially how she couldn't see him suffering. "Thérèse," she corrected. "Oh," he replied, flustered, "Thérèse." "Nice to meet you, my English is no good," she gave a quaint smile. She could tell she was affecting him, she tried to be kind and humble as her mother had taught her to be. She could hear her now, saying, 'the difference between a girl and a woman is what they choose to do with their beauty.' It made her miss home. "I understand, my family is Italian," he replied, "it was hard for them to speak English too." Her eyes brightened. "[You speak Italian?]" '[Yes, and it seems you do too.]" With their newfound method of communication, the French woman and her teammate found their way into an amiable conversation as they casually walked around the property, getting to know one another, perhaps out of a pained loneliness from either side. Before long, Laurence wasn't even concerned about what Sam and Zander were doing, he regained his peace and the realization that Sam was immature. It wasn't his job to clean up her mess or parent her. It was only his job to keep her safe.
