08:08:53 ♧Uriah♧ She doesn't have to be an AD breeder. Though sometimes I want a horse to be good so bad that I end up in denial lol. She's been trained in AD |
08:06:26 Sun/Sunny That doesn't really work if you're trying to do AD honestly you need to train them in AD to see their strengths and weaknesses to properly match |
08:05:14 ♧Uriah♧ Oooohh I see, maybe instead of breeding up her weak traits in AD, perhaps I can breed up Discipline specific traits in the Discipline she's strongest in, SD breeding. |
08:02:11 Sun/Sunny Honestly if you're trying to do AD, I'd recommend using higher rated mares; or save up and get a nice LB/ABLB brood because they're pretty cheap nowadays |
07:59:05 Willow ~ KNN Breeder I've been a member for a whole year now! Wow, time flies |
07:54:21 ♧Uriah♧ I'm glad to hear. So far, her foals training has been kinda weak...2/6 3/6 wk 4's |
07:48:53 Sun/Sunny Considering the mare is only WEE a consistent EEE production isn't bad |
07:47:28 ♧Uriah♧ -HEE Click- This lady won't gimme anything above EEE :^\ |
07:23:56 Sun/Sunny Looking in my mare barn,I clearly need to devote some more time to Wubs here |
07:20:01 Fawn Sun I'll hide him on an SA then xD |
07:18:13 Seven/Reaver/Bigby 07:17:18 Myth/Crowley/Grinch Read that as Son of Apollo lol |
07:17:01 Solar Phoenix Cuties! Definitely watching that boy lol |
07:16:57 Seven/Reaver/Bigby 07:16:57 Sun/Sunny Haha I'll know where to look first Fawn xD |
07:16:26 Myth/Crowley/Grinch Dutch Hopefully the mother will get her act together. |
07:16:15 Fawn Sooooo Sun if Apollo goes missing don't look at my stable xD |
07:13:50 Sun's KNN's Well, my KNN project is certainly coming along wonderfully ^.^ -HEE Click- -HEE Click- |

hey look guys it's me getting all the posts in i promised like four days ago because i've had a collective twenty hours of sleep this week)) Nessa | Callum, Darius "Damn, Ness, don't be so discreet. It's not like he's your type or anything." Callum tried to hide his satisfaction with himself for his mischief as the pair came within sight of a young man with tousled auburn hair and a lean, athletic frame. Nessa had told Callum he should befriend the fellow, but it was obvious by the reddish hue on her face that she was only pushing him to do it because she was too shy to introduce herself. She had fantastic communication skills up until the moment she found someone attractive, then she was easily the shyest sibling. Callum thought this was funny, so he decided that he would take up her offer on befriending him. Approaching Darius with a smile, Callum appeared confident and assertive, two adjectives most opposite of who he actually was. He waited until Darius acknowledged him to begin speaking, as well as when they were within range of hearing. "Hey mate, my name's Callum, and this is my sister Nessa," Nessa waved in an amiable way and offered him a smile, though the overthinking already occuring was causation for her to remain meek. "Have you been here long," the younger brother continued, "we just got here and are trying to meet some people."

Tyler | Livvy <3 Tyler had been looking for Olivia for what felt like eternity when she came crashing into his arms. He was much more affected by this than he let on, enjoying having her with him again in person. A huge grin spread on his face, which only faltered slightly as she pulled away. A new sense of excitement washed over him as the moment he had been waiting for finally came. He was here, with her, after days and days of rigorous travel. For once, he felt like someone, not just a nothing in nowhere, Utah. Forgetting how excitable and energetic she could be, Tyler chuckled, waiting for her to come up for air before replying. "Let me try to answer those in order. I missed you too, and I just got here about twenty minutes ago or so. None of my horses are here, I thought the trip would be a little much for them right now, so it's just me, ya know?" Of course, this was a lie, but he refused to let Livvie see him as impoverished or menial, so he harbored the resentment and let positivity flow. After all, it was in the air whenever she was around. "I don't know where anything is, why don't we go together? How long have you been here?"

Darius Lovelle | 21 | Reiner/Barrel Racer | "Althea" | Nessa and Callum Darius was quietly humming to himself to the tune of "It Don't Mean a Thing" when a confident and yet kind voice with a hint of an Irish accent cut through his thoughts. The young man lifted his head to see who had approached him, a spark of curiosity flickering behind hazel eyes. There were two people around his age, both he had not recognized, and judging by the similar features, they must have been siblings. He had heard rumours that three siblings had traveled from Ireland to show at the stables, having eavesdropped on other riders talking amongst themselves (he wasn't very social to begin with). Cue his surprise when those same siblings approached him to make friends. With him of all people. A shy and crooked smile curved the corners of Darius' lips as his gaze evenly met the Irish siblings', his grip tightening slightly around his sketch book. "Ah, you must be the McDermotts I've heard so much about. I'm Darius, and this is Althea. We've been here for oh....going on three years now?" A frown overtook his handsome features as he took a moment to consider how long he'd actually been riding at the stables. His dad retired from the military three years prior, so yes, it had been three years. Althea snorted in response and took a step forward, reaching out to sniff curiously at both Callum and Nessa. Her ears were pricked, and she nuzzled at their hands in search for treats, that is until Darius huffed and gently tugged back at her lead rope. The black mare squeeled and nipped lightly at her owner's shoulder, but listened anyways, licking her lips as she returned to standing beside Darius. "My apologies. She's a bit of a...character sometimes. So what brings you guys here to White Oaks?" His question was directed towards the siblings, and once his gaze shifted to Nessa and he noticed her red cheeks, his own flushed in response and he quickly averted his eyes. Darius wasn't very outgoing at all, more shy than anything, and so having Callum approach him first made him nervous. He hoped he didn't make a fool of himself.

(*Entrance Drums or something* xD) Samantha Starr / Eventer / Mickey / M: Open. It crossed her mind for the millionth time in the last hour or so why it was worth waking anymore,If only to endure the deafening silence of the four walls. The now familiar musty smell of rotting wood and stagnent water rose to her nostrils,it violating her senses and waking her fully from an exhausted daze to the sight that she had woken to for what seemed to be years. It was dust ridden,At least from what she could tell from the lack of light, and when her eyes finally adjusted from the odd golden beam of sun that happened to drip through a gap in the woodwork it always seemed to evoke a panic within her.It was hard to keep hoping that is was just a sick joke, that one of these times a flap was going to open to reveal the world her dull eyes were longing for.But it was harder still to ignore The cool and damp working it's way up her spine, having become a familiar feeling, the actual ability to feel anything but numb slowly fading away every time she woke.Every time she cried out for fear of being forgotten.Everytime she hoped for the first time in her life for someone's help. And it seemed as she was dragged back into her slumber, relieving herself momentarily from her constant nightmare, that her new life wasnt going to end.Sam rested her dirt riddled head against the wall, trying her hardest to not think about anything as her eyes squinted to see the marks on the wall of her initial panic, where her nails now cracked and ruined had rasped against the walls. The best thing to do now was retain her energy for something to happen. For someone.. Laurence stared out the window of the black suburban, eyes fixated on the trees, whose leaves were changing yet again. This time last year, he was a dressage trainer with a happy go lucky personality and an inner peace he could no longer produce. Now, he was some objectified playing piece on a game board he did not understand. None of it made sense. Not one fragmented shard of truth illuminated the dark obscurity that was his life. He was crawling through a tunnel with no light at the end, looking for any sense of tangibility to ground him, to keep him present. Laurence's life now was very similar to how it was as a child. He was ungrounded, floating somewhere in the atmosphere, his senses stuck in a dream world. It was easier to dream than to breathe most days, both now and during his childhood. He had sworn he'd never get back to this place then, and yet, here he was. Drowning in oxygen, which felt insidious to someone as disconnected from reality as he. He felt catatonic, emotionally repressed, numb. He missed his real job, his horses, everything he had given up when Kholo said, 'go.' Samantha felt more like a task, a deadline, than a human being, than a life. He was convinced she wasn't alive any longer, that they'd gone to the ends of the earth to search for her and come up empty-handed. That he would never see her face again alive for as long as he lived. This made it much simpler to remain in his mind, accompanied by thoughts and not people. People were foreign to him again, as if he were eight years old once more. After a healthy period of fifteen years, Laurence had fallen back into old habits, feeling like a shell of the person Sam knew, and a shell of the person he now knew he had the potential to be. He felt as if they'd just finished searching the last possible crevice she may lie in, and surely, now, everyone would give up hope. He felt bad for being so cynical, but couldn't help himself. He desired to move on, to begin again, to start building his walls up once more, brick after brick until Laurence DiLorenzo existed once more, not just Laurence, the imaginative boy who never came down to earth for one second, not even to see his family suffer.

(Why are your posts always so good Rish Oh my Lord :3 ) . Timothy Blue / EI / DewDay / M: Open. . Wasnt it strange how life always seemed to go on at this place, energy ever bustling and radiating from the stable yards. He'd always found it odd yet settling in a way that White Oaks was a world of its own,a singular universe able to self sustain itself in such a way. . Yet Tim had still found it quiet with departure of his most familiar faces, the yard seeming to have had a cull of the old faces to make room for the new.The blonde couldnt help but give looks of judgement at the waves of people within the aisle, his expression one of strain as it always seemed to be lately, Set in stone. His ridgid body settled into the chair at his desk, muscles momentarily dropping the solidness he had imagined up before his phone began to beep. . "Why'd I even bother sitting, I swear i dont get a damn minute - .. Hello?" Edited at September 24, 2020 03:58 PM by Flipperruby30

Nessa/Callum | Darius Callum gave a quaint, goofy smile, causing Nessa to give him an odd look. He was the exact opposite of her in every way, it amazed her endlessly. Where she was naturally goofy and confident, Callum was reserved, isolated, and aloof. When put in stressful situations, each became the other completely, as if morphing personalities. "Three years? Congrats, that's a long time to be in one place, especially for a military brat. What's the best part about being here?" When he mentioned their last name, Callum curiously inquired, "oh yeah? That's us, what kind of drama are they stirrin' on us?" Nessa had seemed to grow satisfied making friends with his mare, and was nearly disappointed when Darius pulled her away. She was a character, as he had said. She nodded complacently, a bright smile on her lips. It was all she felt she could muster, and wanted to for that matter--Callum rarely ever spoke to strangers, let alone dominated a conversation, so it was no bother to let him. She was happy watching the attractive stranger's cheeks grow flushed anyway. When he asked what had brought them to White Oaks, Callum had grown distracted, eyeballing something or another, so she spoke up, her confidence returning and her cheeks paling. Not by much, but it was something. "Me 'n our brother Darraugh produce horses, but we came to compete. Callum is just here for the adventure." She gave another charming smile, adding, "how'd you end up in Virginia?"

(I thought buger it,lEt's get this Thang on a Roll ) It was starting again,This reoccurring dream she always seemed to have of late, her last hope and will cramming itself into a 5 minute sequence.
There was noise,Scuffling around and tiptoeing over rotting floor boards. With every creak her heart would beat faster within her chest, these unknown heros creeping closer with every laboured breath she took in an attempt to make it last longer. Please don't end now,Don't wake.Sam heard her mind willing, pleading for it all to remain just for a moment - to let her hope for a second. The damp in the air clung to her lungs, coating itself along her throat. She had never managed to call out anyways, only able to lay in her dream state unable to do anything, the efforts only leaving her near collapse when she woke.
But then she heard it.Again.
Now her heart was really pounding,Breath and beat racing the other in despairation. Her name. They said her name. Her dry mouth opened to speak, scream but only mustered an almost inaudible squeal. This was different - She wasn't dreaming. For a moment Sam forgot the lack of energy in her body and stumbled upward, tumbling almost immediately back to her knees Coming incredibly close to knocking herself out.Please. Had they heard her? Surely they had.
Sam now tried anything to make a noise,Sheer panic gripping her body as it had when she first woke in this room over a year ago, entwining itself into every part of her being. Was it that long? She didnt know, didnt care. But her efforts had fallen short, the calling,Scuffling. It was gone.Silence once more echoed around her,the only noise her rasping breath staggering out of the frail shivering body Sam had become. With no ability to cry any longer, her body remained frozen unable to move. This was it,She knew she couldnt take anymore now.The strawberry blonde felt death grasping her,Taking her in with open arms.At least somebody was. As her body collapsed against the wall,a small hatch was thrust open above her - It crashing back with a thud. The noise bashing her eardrums was soon overcome by disbelieving voices, ushering her.Calling her. They were here. The relief was all too much for her to handle,In finally feeling the bite of fresh air her body fell back limp and weak, succumbing to the black. * * * It had been a relatively short call , No more than a few words uttered but it was enough to make his body practically tremble. His head was racing now,the phone still to his ear as if the call was still active. He needed to do something,Tell somebody.Tell everybody.Would he know yet?Surely there was only one way to find out,
The call seemed to dial for a millennium before it finally went through to silence,The blonde fidgeting and pacing the office like a mad man.His expression was grim but hopeful none the less, body taunt .But Laurence couldnt have got a word in If he tried,Tims voice energetic and overpowering,
"Laurence,Buddy,Pal.Have they rung you,Have you heard?.."
His voice pauses,An undeniable hope and belief to his tone.Part of him wanted to wait, let the man answer, make sure he was actually there. But he couldnt,It bursting from his mouth like a cannonball,
"Mate Theyve got her.Theyve found Sam." Edited at September 25, 2020 02:36 AM by Flipperruby30

Laurence / Tim Laurence heard his phone vibrating as he walked up the gravel driveway, having just been dropped off by the detectives. He had asked to walk, it was only a mile or two up the driveway and a rather pretty setting this time of year. The leaves were all gorgeous crimsons and yellows, and fog hung above the dewy grass, composing a hauntingly beautiful landscape. On clearer days than this, the mountains were visible from afar, making everything that much more picturesque. Because he was trapped in his mind these days, nature was one of the few ways he could truly unlock his inner self. He'd spent many hours out here painting, sketching, writing, journaling, and so on, getting back to the artistic ways of his youth. It was far more comfortable to be alone, allowing his senses to perceive, than to be in the company of others who seemed to only ask him about the one thing he never wanted to speak of. And that was the only thing the name flashing on his caller ID would want to speak of. "What do you want, Tim," a tone of cold annoyance struck the man on the other side of the line. The overabundance of nicknames made it worse, making him even more skeptical than he already was--Tim never rang, no one did unless they needed something. "What? Have I heard what," replied Laurence, coldly. He was growing impatient. As Tim replied with words he never thought he'd hear, his breath hitched for only a second before his heart hardened once more, defensive, withdrawn, in a pained rage. "Yeah, and pigs fly. What kind of sick joke is this? Why would you say something like that. I was just with the detectives, and we had nothing. There's nowhere else to look, Tim. She's dead. I know that, you know that, and everyone else needs to come to terms with it. It's been a year, I'm tired of you people living in this fantasy world where all endings are happy endings. Grow up."

Olivia Lancewood | 16 | Cirrus | XC/E | Tyler Livvie beamed back at Tyler, her entire face lit up with excitement. "I have no idea! Maybe fifteen minutes...or was it less - like I said, I have no flipping clue." Pausing for a moment to regain her breath, she quickly sparked onto the next topic. "Oh oh! Have you seen the horses they have here? They're absolutely adorable. I saw this cute little piebald in the stalls, and at least seven different breeds in one barn alone. This place is amazing, I'm telling you!" She had unconsciously stood up on her toes in order to maintain comfortable eye contact with her friend, her eyes rapt and chin jutted out slightly. "Isn't it?" Moving onto the next thing as quickly as she had begun, she finally registered his earlier remark. "Oh, none of your hoof babies then. Cirrus is here, 'course-" she gestured vaguely towards the barn cluster "- but he'll be out of action once the jet lag hits him. But I can't wait to meet my school horse!" Her exclamation marks dotted the surrounding air, practically visible in her enthusiasm. "Mm, I should have my map here somewhere. Something about a main office, I'll look." She tugged out a heavily crumpled and rather mud stained pamphlet from her jean pocket, holding it up to the fading light. "At least I didn't get the times mixed up this time!" Olivia joked, referencing their first meeting. She'd arrived four hours earlier than expected at the other stable, as well as mixing up Cirrus' transport. "Anyways. This way...I think?" She linked her arm in his, stepping out in the fluid direction of where she thought the office was. [Only with Livvie could I write 150+ words of pure chatter xD]
