Sky ran next to Bellamy, pulling when she needed to pull and turning when she needed to turn. She understood June's every command and obeyed her as well as she could. At one point, Sky was thinking about racing again, and June made a swift left turn, catching Sky off gaurd. She almost tripped over a hidden log, but caught herself just in time. ~ When Raina looked at her with the question in her eyes, Sky yipped quietly back, "I'm fine. You?" Sky was worried for Raina. She got into trouble too much. If she kept this up she might be kicked off the team! Sky did not want that to happen. But how could she approach Raina and tell her that?? Raina looked back and barked "Left at the next tree!" then up at sky "I'm good! and that better than not being fine!" Raina though she was the youngest do on the team was also one of the more mature ones. When June was raising her she was teaching the young pup to lead even if Raina never actually became lead dog she must havr the skill and determanion of one. And one thing stuck with her throughout puphood which was something her birth mother had told her "Though not every fight is worth fighting, fight when you can for that can prove yourself, even if the fight is not verbal or physical stand your ground and never back away." She never truly understood what she ment but decided it useful. *** Raina looked at Mz and up at June. "I can have us slow down a bit for you and blam it on my shoulder if you need me too?" her red fur almost flat against the wind. (Yea they put the ingured dogs next to each other. also shush abt the lil lore of Raina)

Cypress ran with the other dogs, adjusting his speed with theirs, especially Sky's since she was his partner at this point in time. He flicked his ears and silently listened to what the other dogs were saying, but didn't give it much thought and instead focused on his own physical health. Cypress was pleased to feel his leg didn't hurt at all, and he was running just fine. He was still in shape, so he wasn't panting hard either. He didn't feel tired in the least- well, if he did, there would be something serious wrong. They had been running for like, ten minutes.

June blushed a little as Bellamy joked with her. Giving him a swift lick on his face she started the run as Annalise called for them to get moving. ~~ At Raina's comment about them flirting, June blushed a little harder and started to run faster. Being one of the biggest dogs on the team she had a longer stride and being a lead dog it was their job to keep the pace so that the dogs behind them weren’t getting dragged. But seriously this is embarrassing…she thought to herself trying not to look at Bellamy and focus on her job. ~~ Only communicating with Bellamy about how fast to take the speed as the terrain changed June willed herself to go into autopilot for a while. She had trained this way all her life so it was basically second nature. So she began sifting through her thoughts about her past, her family, and her should be family. Mainly she thought about her mother…her mother was a beautiful pure white husky that had been rescued from the illegal dog meat trade and had been sent to a too crowded rescue in the very north of Alaska where the conditions were horrid and her hope of survival was grim. As time went on the dogs that were with her starved from abandonment and died one after the other until only her mother was the sole survivor…. June snapped out of her thoughts as Annalise yelled at June very loudly to slow down. Not realizing how fast she had been going while she was zoning out June slowly hit the brakes and turn just in time so she wouldn’t run the team into the lake.

Cypress cocked his head with a small grin at the teasing- he could tell June was blushing, even from back where he was. In any case, it wasn't his business- he was the new dog and practically knew no one here. As June launched forward Cypress looked a bit surprised, quickening his pace with bigger bounds to keep up. He could keep up rather easily; he was bred for running- he just didn't quite understand the sudden change in speed. Cypress got a tad bit worried when they seemed to be approaching the lake too fast for the corner. Being on the Russian team, they were treated rather cruely and pushed to the limits... which also meant as a lead dog he had pulled on some rather immpressive turns with his two amazing wheel dogs in tow... but never going this fast on this sharp of a turn. PLus this was training, and there was a NEW dog as a wheel dog! Having thought about that, Cypress was quite thankful when Annalise yelled and snapped June out of thought. He slowed down in time with the team, the turn quite sharp and pretty unsteady as they zoomed around the outside, barely missing being swimming champions.

Mz grunted, "you good Raina?" He said, keeping an eye on the smaller dog, he began to feel dizzy but put off the feeling, he was a champion dog, he wouldn't let a sickness like this to pull him down. Mz looked ahead at Cypress, "Cypress, keep your feet outta my face" he said, his voice gruff.
