Jackson|18|Grace/Brave|M: Heather

Jacks watched Heather come out of the barn and mount up, grinning at her choice in tack. "I didnt know you rode Western... or are you just trying to impress me?" Smiling, he didnt wait for a response, instead urging Grace into a canter. The mare sped up and they entered the forest area surrounding the equestrian centre. Jacks laughed as Grace steered them towards jumps, the pair flying over each obstacle with grace and precision. The dapple mare ran through a river, reveling in the cool water splashing on her. The blonde giggled before turning the mare back on couse, Heather having caught up. "Cmon. Its not too much farther."

Nearing the outcropping at a trot, Jacks dimounted and tied Grace to a nearby tree. Taking a seat at the edge of the low cliff, he laid back, feeling the grass envelope him. He breathed long and slow, taking in the scents of a forest which he had nothing like at home.

(I was gon do Athens but then I got Erin inspiration and I needed to grab it. Sors. I also just have no fucking clue what's happening SO. Doin my own thing here.)

Erin | M: Open

It was yet another day of great weight.

After enduring the deep pains of his head and heart that previous night, Erin had greatly hoped that he could just sleep it off. Forget about the feelings and thoughts and get on with life like normal. But alas, that was not so. He still had all of the drag of before, just with the added sleepiness from a poor night's rest. The only emotional difference now was an emptier thought train which, in all reality, had only gone dead silent as a defensive act. Clearly reasoning refused to work, so now he'd build a wall for emotional aspects to hide behind, so as not to face the issues.

And having avoided last night's gala like the plague, Erin decided to extend that avoidance to Kholo. He couldn't face her. It was silly, and he knew that, but he couldn't help but feel guilty for not attending. She had asked something simple of the White Oaks residents and he had failed to deliver. How could he express why he didn't go, without diving into his mental state? Obviously there was no way to do that. So there went another thing to isolate himself from.

An emptiness rang inside. Painfully so. But it was better than thinking on its cause.

And as mundane as it was, Erin found his only hint of contentment standing beside Arvea in her stall, slowly twirling her thin forelock with his fingers. The mare kept her head low for him and occasionally offered a kind nudge with her velvety black nose, warm brown eyes gazing softly as her tall grey ears calmly flicked side to side. She was relaxing. Warming. A sweet, loveable comfort for a restless child. But even so, Erin could not let down his guard very low.

"I guess.. You're still my friend." He whispered unconfidently, staring shakily at the large grey equine. Subconsciously, he allowed his other hand to drift down and pet Arvea as he considered their companionship. Even through the thickest darkness, she was there. She'd always be there for him to lean back on. Loko was plenty different, to where Erin could swear that gelding would prefer him dead, but this loyal mare had always pulled through, and nudged him out of his heavy heart with her own love-filled one. Now, it was unlikely she knew exactly how much she had really done for him. Or, really, that she had done anything at all. But nonetheless, Erin recognized it himself. She was his rock.

Although that could be taken poorly, he found a glimmer of hope in the thought. Happiness, even. He still had this wonderful mare by his side, and surely that had to account for something. Maybe she could help him out of the dark again, if he just kept giving her the love and attention she craved in return.

Soon he was brought to reality again when he noticed Arvea flinch. He glanced around at her worriedly, but she had stopped. Only for a moment.

There, again. It was more subtle, as if she expected it, but still there. Her ears flicked in a slightly different way, like discomfort or annoyance, but still majorly love. It took Erin a minute before he decided to run a hand along the mare's round belly, at which time he felt the movement inside and became more calm. Her foal was wiggling. A spry little thing, it was. Always making sure someone knew they were in there. For the first time that day, a faint smile graced Erin's pale face.

A new hope came to his mind. Sooner than later, that little wiggling foal would make it's way out into the real world. There'd be a little duplicate of Arvea running about. A new friend to keep him out of darkness. And a cute one, at that. So maybe that would be his motivation-- stick around long enough to greet this new little buddy. It'd be worth it in the end, right? Things would feel better then?

(This... is word vomit. An absolute clusterfuck of thoughts. But I just MISS them and I NEEDED to SHITPOST :DDD)

J/Zo | M: Open

"Don't."

"Oh come on, Zo, just-"

"Stop."

Curled to a ball in a sitting position, Maizo clung to the bedsheets flung over his head, exhaustedly attempting to keep light from filtering into his eyes. His arms lightly shook from burning annoyance with his brother, who was currently trying to pry him from his dark hole, and who had dragged him from the familiar building he had come to call "home" just the night prior, so as to come to a place with people, animals, and lots of light. In other words, the three things that he hated most. If his temper was bad before, it was way worse now.

And what was he to do? He was a hot-headed blind kid on a huge, unknown property covered in happy-go-lucky people and huge animals that could kill him in a heartbeat. Animals that he hated specifically above all others-- besides dogs, maybe. He had always refused any of the usual aids for blind people, so his only guide around the place would be Jaiza, as always. This place being so big and dangerous, that could only mean he'd be sticking to his brother even more than usual.

Oh, how horrid that thought was! Even more time with that light-loving asshole jock? It'd be worse than Riverwild. Or, so his pessimistic mind said so.

But it didn't really matter, did it? It wasn't like he'd ever get a choice in these matters. If Jaiza wanted to go someplace, Maizo would have to go along, no matter how loud he complained nor how hard he smacked him. That was the only reason he ever went to the hockey rings, the horse farms, that horribly confusing German collage, and now this place-- another boarding property covered in disgusting equines. Would the torture ever end?

"Maizo, I swear, if you don't get your lazy emo ass up, I'm going to carry you like a baby and drop you in the lake!" Jaiza grouched loudly, taking a tough tug at the blanket which managed to launch it away.

"Your eyes would be clawed out before you could manage that." The teen hissed lowly in response as he flinched and shielded his eyes from the sudden burst of light. His icy gaze expressed a flickering rage, which was admittedly rather common for him. Actually, it was rare to see him without that demonic glare, especially when speaking to someone.

Jaiza huffed, both ticked and amused. "Yeah yeah, mister cat, very intimidating." The older blonde then paused a moment, likely considering his options. Then, almost immediately becoming calm and quiet, he slowly reached toward the black-haired teen with just enough movement to make his approach known to the sightless. His hand gently wrapped around Maizo's wrist to take hold, and the teen tensed up with a burning desire to attack so as to "teach 'im a lesson", but no defense came to take place. Jaiza began to manage pulling him out of bed.

As much as Maizo hated to admit it, his brother was good at "handling" him. Nineteen years of coexisting will do that. Jaiza always went cautious but persistent with him, and spat back a few of the infamous insults when they began to get thrown, and this pattern always ended up in Maizo doing whatever it was that he was trying to avoid. And oh boy, did he hate that each time he realized what had happened. But the balance of hatred to care was always just enough to make him feel like he had won, and that he released some of the pent up anger on his own time. I've gotta stop falling for this. He thought with a clear grudge.

So just like that, they went about their time. Of course, neither of them could go without talking snippy and snarky with each other as they went through the morning usuals, but that was no different from any other day. A day without some rudeness between them would be an absolute miracle. Nonetheless, Jaiza still came back to his gleeful, loving older brother tone every so often, as if reminding Maizo that it was not in seriousness, and that they were, without a doubt, in need of each other.

---

Due enough time, the pair appeared outside, one obviously forcing the other along as a guiding hold stayed on his wrist.

Admittedly, the two of them were very different in appearance. They were both somewhat tall, but Jaiza was sturdy and well muscled, while Maizo was rather thin. The blonde walked happily and confidently with good posture while the black-haired one had a slumped posture expressing irritation and guardedness. One wore colorful things like a hockey jersey and the other was in pure black.

"I will send you six feet under if we're walking to that barn." Maizo grumbled, staring onward into the nothingness with exasperation. And of course, he was met with a long, awkward moment of silence from his brother.

"... It's.. Uh.. It's not a barn, it's a stable." Jaiza's response eventually came out, with the hint that he thought he was clever. Maizo sent him a nasty glare, almost able to visualize his smug look and sickened by it.

Dang...I've been typing out my own character's name wrong. Thanks for reminding me Rishy xD

Cheikhou Aidara | 22 | Kierstan, Chandler

Cheikhou chatted with the two, a radiant sparkle in her eyes. She rarely 'smiled' as such, but almost always had some sort of excited expression on her face. This time, her neck was slightly bent forward, and the previously mentioned glow in her eyes, sure signs of her enjoyment and interest.

Chei leaned her head to the side at Chandler's question, her right shoulder shrugging yet again. "You could call me an agnostic, I guess," she said simply, glancing to see their reactions. "But if there's a church service on, I'll go. If there's a nearby mosque, that too. I'm not fixed in what I believe." She smiled now, a slight perk of her lips and raised cheeks.

They fell back into comfortable chatter, Cheikhou enjoying herself immensely. Kierstan and Chandler seemed like good people, really good, and the three of them were quickly becoming friends. Chandler seemed sweet, albeit a little too Christian, but those believers had a reputation for being kind and caring. Kierstan, too, came across as a kind young man with an interest in everything that surrounded him.

---

Chei laughed happily, the soft sound resounding across the street."No, that was fun. This should seriously become a regular thing." Her curls bounced joyfully as she walked, tucked back behind an orange bandana.

"Me?" It was her turn to look pleasantly surprised, completely comfortable in her own skin. "Well, I don't know. I saw a quaint bookshop nearby, same street. You can find such gems in places like those!" She made no attempt to hide her interest in books and learning in general; it was a part of her that would always bubble up, regardless how well she hid it.

(So many Posts,So little time Lol.Will try get them all up at some point today)

Samantha Starr /M: Laurence

The young woman had nodded knowingly as Laurence chipped in,seriously starting to struggle to keep a straight face as his voice echoed around the room. She had once again flinched and had nearly her whole body tense up as he reached over for her hand, to the point she stumbled a little as they headed for the door.Sam couldn't help but look to it a few times, hardly breathing as Laurence whispered again into her ear.The young woman lifted her hand to move her bag strap again, this time it having fell down rather irritably onto her elbow.

"Remind me to bring a back pack when you plan you cause trouble again."

She had huffed with a playful glint to her eye, looking to him as he mentioned something about his phone,Only offering a knowing nod that said 'tell me about it'.Eyes glancing around the rest of street that seemed to be nearing it's end,Sam paused to think for a moment, subconsciously playing with her hair.

"Okay.Close your eyes?"

She commanded simply,Like it was the most normal thing in the world, outstretching her hand to guide him along the street.Sam saw him hesitate and couldn't help but offer an easy giggle,

"Aww,C'mon.I wont let you walk into too many lampposts."

- - -

After near 15 minutes of clumsy guiding,Sam having a gentle hold on his palm with her own incredibly soft skin,Laurence was practically yanked to a halt as she forgot to tell him to stop. She chuckled apologetically, before settling on the grass - having layed her jacket out before hand to sit on - and glanced to him a little uneasily, finally speaking,

"Okay."

She decided to avert her gaze away from him, still watching secretly from the corner of her eye. There was an overwhelming need in her head for his approval, she wasn't sure why.

When he finally opened his eyes, which she thought grumpily to herself he was taking his sweet time to do,it was a scene infront of him that could only be described as picturesque.Stretching fields of Lush greens and Auburn colours painted a totally rural landscape down below them, each dot and spec of colour dancing in the wind like ballerinas. It all lay so far below where they were sat,Sam's eyes following the steep and rocky path down the rockside right to the bottom where trees shielded it from view.

"I saw it on the way from the bus - I guess you common people are too busy finding something to look at rather than to just open your eyes and see."

Sam explained quietly, her whole body relaxing and swaying gently as a breeze pushed its way past them. The strawberry-blonde could only be described as at ease in this moment, eyes warm and tranquil as she looked up to him,

"Oh right - the Town is just there,Behind you.So if you had somethinf else planned that's fine.Ill be here anyways,no chance of Loosing me."

Did she just allow him to do as he pleased? With no attempt at all for control on the situation? In truth she did want him to stay, although she found it a little irritable that she was the one now looking forward to someone's company. As fun as this all was,The young woman just knew that here was different. As soon as they got home,She'd return to normal and think nothing of it.A little doubt took over in her mind at her own thought, glancing to him thoughtfully.Would he do the Same? - Yes if of course he would.Because she simply wouldn't give him the choice..

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventing | Espresso Silhouette "Mystery" and Open | School Horse: WO Descendants Of Khan "Khan" | M: Jackson, Open

-Heather playfully rolled her eyes at him in response then not long as the pair followed after Jackson & his mare at a canter. She started to laugh a bit, oh how she missed feeling the wind in her hair while Mystery was quite enjoying the outing as well while the colorful mare followed Jackson's mare when they have entered the forest area. She started to get curious of where Jackson was leading them to when she heard his voice, hearing the words as clear as day-

-Once they've arrived at their destination, the brunette slowed the mare down to a halt before dismounting, she leads Mystery over to a tree and does a slip knot when she tied the reins to the tree then she walked over to Jackson before sitting down next to him- "This is a really pretty location you picked." -she shyly said as she leaned back a bit with both of her hands behind her, her fingers intertwined with the grass as it felt quite soft to the touch but her heart was still grieving even though she looks so happy on the outside-

Simon Triba / Flame / M:Marley.

He gave a chuckle at the shopkeeper's expression, watching his aquaintance hurry from the store with a noticable spring in her step.

"Coffee - Disguisting.But I'll take a green Tea."

Simon offered with a teasing yet cool glance, running his eyes along the street in searching for a cafe or coffee shop.In the gazing around,it took him a few moments to recognise the two figures right at the end of the street before a slight sigh of relief left his mouth,

"Look - Laurence and..Sam?"

He paused uncertainly, not quite knowing if he was correct or not as the young woman had skipped the formalities in her rush to avoid being late.

So does being a couple.

He shrugged off the thought rather hastily, shifting his weight uneasily before giving a few looks between her and the cars in nearly a shocked manner.

"Oh Yeah - You Know it."

Laurence | Sam

While not necessarily one of those people with wanderlust or a great need for adventure, Laurences interest was obviously piqued by Sam's great enthusiasm, and held her hand gently while she dragged him down the street. The whole time he was lost in thought about everything. Everything was happening so fast, today had completely changed his life, and he'd never intended for it to. Sam had changed his life radically, and he'd never intended that she would. This was all crazy, and bizarre, and forcing himself to live in the moment instead of having anxiety about the future was very very difficult.

He was so lost in thought that when she abruptly yanked him to a stop, he only chuckled after abruptly stopping forward motion, recovering his balance. "Okay," she finally said, as he thoughtfully opened his eyes, looking in awed wonder at all of the fields, all of the wildflowers, everything there was to see, to take in. It was truly beautiful, and hardly believable that just five minutes up the road was an entire town.

Slightly speechless, he said, "Sam, this is amazing," with a true, genuine smile on his face. When she made her 'common people' comment, he snickered, replying, "yeah, well this common guy was busy keeping his eyes on the road."

Hearing the resentment as she assured him he could leave, he said gently and with a believable seriousness, "I'm not leaving you." This was the first time he'd gotten her to look in his eyes, and he simply offered her a smile. He knew she was smart, and she knew he wasn't just talking about at this moment.

The next few moments was met with silence from him, still completely lost in thought. He sat upright with his head cradled in his hands, staring off towards a river that flowed lazily. He had so much on his mind, so much he wanted to tell her. He knew if he tried to face what was budding between them, she'd only run, but he knew he also owed her the information that he was, as of this morning, supposed to be her trainer. He wished he'd never had that conversation--if he wasn't directly training her, there was a possibilty of a legitimate relationship here. Yet, he knew if she wanted something bad enough, or someone, she'd break any rules in her way. He just wasn't sure where that left him.

Twisting his ring subconsciously, as usual, he started to stare at it carefully, tracing the letters. True love doesn't waste time.
