Laurence | Sam . "Well where do you say he was born?" She asked, utterly dumbfounded, holding the cross around her neck as if protecting Jesus Himself. She seemed speechless, trying to maintain her composure but utterly failing, her face growing redder and her hands on her hips. . "That's something we haven't quite figured out yet. Maybe Mars? Pluto? Is that why they reject Pluto as a planet?" . Searching his pockets purposefully, he said, "oh, I guess im fresh out of pamphlets. And she's a rookie so she wouldn't have any. But, our church meets at twelve fifteen, as in a quarter after midnight, between Monday and Tuesday. We're very legit, we even have a Facebook page. Followers of Jesus Christ of Alien Origin. Give us a like, check out our merch." . Gesturing to Sam, whose smile he was absolutely infatuated with, he started moving towards the door as the woman stood, dumbfounded. He didn't know if it was the adrenaline or what, but he found himself absolutely smitten. . "Thanks again, for letting us practice training young leaders on your stock. You'll see us on the news one day, our organization will rule the world in truth and power!" Edited at May 17, 2020 04:08 PM by Ascension Acres

(I actually Can't, Lmao xD) Samantha Starr / M: Laurence. Sam's eyes widened once more,as if Laurence had just explained the whole function of the world,A mock-mystified glint to her gaze, "That makes so much more sense. - How would you feel if we banished your home planet from the Solar System Huh?No Wonder he left some people without guidance." She added, rather amused but passing it off as seriously as she could muster.Luckily,Laurence covered the last part before her act faltered just managing to hold it together.Sam was almost out of the door, before she popped her head back in to see the dumbfounded woman relaxing in the hope they'd finally left, "Honestly - Our Branded Sneakers are the real Bomb. Some are said to be granted with the ability to let you walk on water.Have a Blessed Day." As soon as the door shut behind them,Sam's whole body seemed to emit such cheer she immediately couldn't breathe. Her hands clung to his arm as she tumbled in reams of contagious laughter beside him, having to tentatively wipe her eyes to avoid her make-up smudging from the tears. "Oh- My.My Mascara..." Sam found herself glancing along the rest of the street,at the other stores, briefly shooting the shop keeper a cheery wave with her fingertips as she watched the pair from the other side of the window pane. "I think we have a definite new member." Sam offered, finally managing to collect herself and release her grasp on his arm.She took note of how muscular they felt, perhaps because she had shocked him into tension maybe - His expression just as amused as hers as she looked at it for a few moments, features soft. The blonde soon rocked back slightly to a more 'safe' distance, not knowing what exactly was making her heart thud so heavily. I literally love them lol. . Laurence | Sam . Laurence couldn't help a snicker at her 'sneaker' comment, finally releasing his pent up amusement. His amusement quickly faded as she grasped his arm, and he flexed his muscle reflexively. She was a little too close for comfort, all of this was severely taxing his mental stability. That was the moment he realized, the moment that he could never come back from. I'm madly in love with you, he thought to himself, clenching his jaw and suddenly feeling very uncomfortable with himself. If he told her, things went downhill, but if he held it in, he'd also lose his mind. . Smiling, he played it off calmly. "That was perfect," he chuckled, running a hand through his perfect hair. You're perfect. . "Where to next? I don't think I'll ever step foot in the pet store, the bridal shop, or the children's clothing store for any reason..."

Same OML x3 ) Samantha / M: Laurence. "I was going to ask you the same thing." She beamed, her excitable eyes picking out each individual store he had mentioned before her face absolutely lit up with a light bulb moment.Sam looked to Laurence with a whirlwind of expression before taking a breath and instantly calming herself like the flick of a switch. She offered a simple 'You ready?',before walking confidently along the pathway, hips swaying as she opened the pet shop door and quickly latched onto the chosen victim. "Ahh! Excuse me.Could you please show me your dog food please? You do have that yes?" The assistant led them along the aisles,Sam playing the pompous and demanding customer she guessed they weren't used to around here. "Ahh..Which would you say is the best quality?Do you offer sampling?" She questioned genuinely, examining the shelves packed with tinned meat. Her expression was straight and Nipped, what was expected of a higher ranking woman in such encounters. 'Erm - Yes.. ' She watched the shop assistant look around for a few moments, clearly expecting for a dog hidden in a handbag to be produced, before chiming up with a rich and entitled voice. "Well could I try some then please? You see We're having such important guests over tonight and really wanted to splash out - You know? And we really dont have time to Dilly-Dally." Sam probed rather impatiently with full seriousness, only offering Laurence a sides glance in fear he would set her off again as the other man gave a look that could only be described as terribly hidden horror. Laurence | Sam Laurence maintained a serious composure, nodding thoughtfully as if Sam's request was completely normal, and completely casual. "Ah, yeah. But, babe--I thought we were also here to try a new blend for the kids? Can you guys show us the high protein blends you have? Something for someone who weighs a little more than a terrier would be good, our son is about 40 pounds..." "Uh, sir, we're gonna have to ask you guys to leave," one of the representatives said, exchanging glances between himself and the other rep, who was equally horrified. "Or we can call CPS." "Why? Our kids are fed better than those kids who eat fast food all day. Ah, the travesty," he scoffed, in a passionate, dramatic way grabbing Sam's hand and strutting out, nearly doing his own impression of Sam as they exited the building. Whispering closely to her again, he said, "we're gonna be banned from town here soon," he said with an amused chuckle. As they reached the warm sunlight again, Laurence squeezed her hand subtly, releasing it as he scratched the back of his neck casually. He checked the time on his phone, and gave a heavy sigh at the number of missed calls and text messages he'd recieved in the last few hours. "I'm gonna start wearing a watch again," he complained, gesturing to his phone. "Half of these aren't even important messages. Three of them are just Tristan asking me which horses I want turned out, when my trillion horses have turnout sheets on their stalls. I swear to God he just wants to fire some stablehands." Sighing as he simply marked them as read and put his phone away, he looked back up at Sam. "Anyway, I was trying to check the time. We have roughly an hour before be have to meet up with the others. How do you want to spend that time?" Edited at May 17, 2020 08:04 PM by Ascension Acres

Chandler/Kierstan | Chee Chandler strolled casually along the city sidewalk, aglow with her natural enthusiasm. Throughout the conversation, she'd learned quite a bit about her two new friends. Cheikhou was a pre-law and literature student studying online, and Kierstan had graduated from community college with a degree in education, now working as a teacher. Obviously they'd learned a lot about her too, about her riding experience, about her horse, about church, about college. The three were actually a fantastic fit, getting along super well due to varying levels of softness and friendliness. It seemed they were all fast friends. Finally they got to the 'church', a large, rectangular building that looked more like a former Walmart superstore. Which, after some conversation with the construction crew, she'd been informed it was. Looking around the building with an awed wonder, Chandler watched her friends look around too. "So, are you guys Christians too? I feel like that's the only thing we haven't learned about each other," she giggled, looking around more. The construction crew had been given orders to fill the huge space with a light wood flooring that looked extremely expensive, and gave the place a clean feeling. She was told the next day would be painting, which she'd spared no enthusiasm in asking to help with. "I'm not apart of a church or anything, but I believe there's something bigger than us out there. I just haven't really made it a priority, my whole family is super skeptical about everything," Kierstan drew out the last word, a goofy grin lining his face. "That's so cool, thanks so much for sharing," she replied. "If you ever want to look deeper into it, it would literally be my pleasure to have that convo with you. Talking about Jesus is the light of my life," she grinned, this huge beaming grin, and Kierstan could've sworn he saw some light radiate off of her. Something about her was just...different...in this worship space, as if a flip had switched within her. He wasn't truly attracted to her, but something about that specific quality in her was so darn attractive. ... After some time had passed, it was time to leave the space, Chandler giving the promise that in a few hours, she'd be back to help them finish installing the flooring. She was absolutely positive that she would not be there to 'build' a church if she couldn't physically create the foundation of it, and install the floor she'd be leading worship on for a long, long while. After they began their way back thanks to directions given by Kierstan's phone, they discovered they'd walked so far and spent so much time in there that they'd only have about thirty minutes left by the time they arrived back where the van was. "Thank you both so much for spending your afternoon like this, I'm so blessed to have you guys in my life now! I love friend-making!" "No problemo, I think I enjoyed that as much as you did," Kierstan shot her an enamored smile, that glow still radiating off of her. If he'd ever had doubt there was a God, he'd lost that doubt the second Chandler had stepped foot into that church. He could have stared at her all day after that glow hit her. It was truly divine. "Cheikhou," he managed, making his best effort to use her full name. He didn't want her to have to shorten it just because he couldn't yet pronounce it. He'd learn. "What do you want to do with our last thirty minutes?" Edited at May 17, 2020 09:49 PM by Ascension Acres

Marley - Roze | Nirvana | D | M: Simon Marley chuckled as he pulled the CD out. `` Wait! Thats like... actually quite funny.`` The woman would laugh softly. Hearing his last comment she shrugged. `` I'm sure we can find them Simon, chill.`` Finally finding the last cd she needed Marley lifted up C.A.L.M. `` Shh, don't judge.`` She said quietly. Walking up to the counter the woman placed the few CD's down onto the desk and pulled out her purse. She took the ones from Simon's hands, and paid for them all. The shopkeeper glanced at Simon nervously before bagging them and handing them back over to the obviously excited woman who was bobbing ever so slightly. Marley took the bag and Simon's wrist and dragged them out of the shop again. `` Where to now?`` Marley asked him whilst letting go of him. `` It's your choice now.`` She smiled. Looking around the dark haired woman found a small equine store, a book store, a clothes store and almost everything else in between. Town was amazing and she would have to come more often. `` How does coffee sound?``

Emily | Tim Emily gave a defeated sigh. "I don't know, Tim. I don't have all the answers, I just--I need us to be better. Life is short, we shouldn't be at odds all the time." Giving a melancholy, quiet laugh, she said, "I feel like I need to go to couple's counseling with someone I've never dated." A small smirk drawn to her lips, she said, "let's go for a drive. I have something I want to show you, and we have some catching up to do. Plus, I can't drive on my own yet. My exam is Tuesday." Gesturing towards the parking lot, she turned back to look at him with an expectant smile, arms crossed but harmlessly now. "You up for it?"

Aria|16|Diablo|M: Open Grumbling as she stomped out toward the barn, Aria hugged her arms close to her body. The day was warming up, but there was still a chill. Mindlessly going into the tackroom and grabbing Diablo's halter and lead, she sighed and made her way out to the paddock he was inhabiting. The dun gelding was nibbling at the grass in the paddock, lips chomping. Diablo barely acknowledged her as she climbed over the fence, perching herself on the top. Pulling out her phone, she scrolled through social media and noted the lack of any communication from her friends. This caused her to become even more ticked off and she scowled. Glaring at the dun gelding as he looked up, she growled and spat out her next sentence. "First Aunt Liz takes me to the middle of nowhere away from my friends, who arent even talking to me. Then the one horse I actually knew how to ride is back at home and Im stuck with you." She glowered at Diablo, fists clenched. "What do I have to do!? Why wont you ever flippin listen to me!?" Aria kicked the fence in frustration before sliding down into the lush grass, curling up so her head rested on top of her knees, hiding her face from view. She held that position for a while, breathing slighty ragged as she tried not to cry. Edited at May 17, 2020 10:44 PM by Star Catcher Estate
