Cypress cocked his head in surprise as Raina whined and bit the musher. +Oof. Din't see that coming+ He thought, then noticed her shoulder was swollen. +That must hurt+ Cypress thought again with a concerned look, the tip of his tail twitching.

As the musher noticed Raina's injury he was surprised and didn’t know how she got it. “Oh poor girl…” he said, patting her head gently. “Let’s have Annalise take a look at that.” He said picking her up gently. Annalise was a vet and the team's trainer for the month. Every team at the training center was assigned their own champion trainer, the best of the best. Annalise had been their trainer for the past two years and had watched Raina grow up. Everyone on the team loved her. As the musher carried her into the team's assigned kennel room with the rest of the team following the musher placed Raina in the medical kennel which was bigger than the rest and got her comfortable before closing the door and leaving. ~~ “I’m glad you are able to run again Mz, I’m going to need some help training Tiger but you still need to take it easy.” She said bumping into him playfully and wagging her tail slightly.

Tiger growled slightly at the sound of his name. Then he yawned. "Anyone know when nap time is on the schedule?" He said with a slight smirk. He twisted his head trying to hear with only one good ear.

Cypress stood and silently padded after the musher, his head cocked with concern. He stayed a ways behind the other dogs, feeling like he didn't really belong there. In any case, a question that had been bugging him popped up again. +Who will I be running with+ Cypress thought with a small sigh, sniffing a little at the weird scent hanging in the air.

Mz flicked his ears at Tiger, "want me to run next to him?" He said, "we had a few good words" Mz said, he watched June and head butted her playfully

Raina sat and waited. "I'm fine.." she whispered. Though being basicly dragged and everytime her shoulder hit saomething she would let out yelps of pain didn't help her case. By the time shewas checked out it was determained her shoulder had been popped out of place. She could still run with light work and definatly not by bel for a while. *** Once her shoulder was back in place and her harness on she waited to be placed. Tiger rolled his eyes. When the musher came and put his harness on his attitude completely changed. The arrogant young male dog was replaced by a calm focused wheel dog. It was like someone had flipped a switch in his brain or something. He waited for his placement.

Cypress padded back outside and stood perfectly still as the musher came, his ears perked and expression much more... calm. He didn't look like he was worrying, or thinking about things, or anything else. Cypress's tail slowly swished back and forth as he waited to see who he would be placed next to, his mouth slightly open to scent the air and absorb every piece of information as possible.

Denali stood patiently waiting for her snow white harness, and walked up to June saying, "Hey, dramatic day huh? Do you know who I'm running with now?" She looked at the sled and remembered with a smile the first time she saw it when she was merely a pup, she had chewed part of it, you could still see the tooth marks.
