It's over for all y'all--I'm baaack and I am already doing dramatic plot movements loooolll.)

Emily | Eventing | Tristan, Open

It was around ten in the morning, and Emily was outside on the lawn doing some of her strengthening exercises. In a few hours, she'd attempt to ride Mya for the first time since her accident--Magik was more tolerant than she had expected, but not fully. And there was something about the mare's spunk that she just genuinely missed. Since Noah had been riding her, she'd become much calmer, too--not as wild and unpredictable as she had once been. Her progress was promising, and so was Emily's.

As she looked off to the barn, she saw Tristan jogging out of the barn, assumably up to the main house. She wondered why, it was so bizzarre to see him running--borderline amusing, actually. But, as he kept going forward, she realized he was headed straight for her. And, the closer he got, the more visible the grim expression on his face appeared.

"Tristan, what's wrong?"

"Emily, I need you to come quickly--I called the vet, but--"

"Who? What? What's going on?" She struggled to her feet, but fell several times in the process. Rushing did not do anything for her anymore but make things more difficult.

The pleading look in her tan eyes caused him to feel worse than he already did. He was cool on the outside, but panicking on the inside. "Tristan, just tell me..."

"Mya...she...doesn't have a pulse. She looks fine on the outside, she was fine when I checked on her this morning, but when I went in to check on her...she..."

"...was dead? No, that can't be right, you're wrong... you have to be." Emily's eyes were now filled with tears, the color gone from her skin. Her heart was beating extremely fast as she struggled to walk as fast as she wanted to go. Having fake legs was terrible for emergency situations, as she'd come to find out.

"I...I'm sorry, Emily. I can't lie to you about it."

...

The next three hours were spent with Emily laying on the floor of the stall, bawling her eyes out. She couldn't move, couldn't breathe. The vet had come and gone, confirmed Tristan's suspicions, and chalked it up to some kind of aortic rupture that couldn't have been planned for and was completely random. Of course, this didn't help matters in any way, whatsoever, only making it worse for the girl. She felt like she'd just gotten over all of the other losses, and now here was one more--one of the greatest sorrows she'd felt in her entire life. It was like her child had been ripped from her, and now she had nothing. Absolutely nothing. And, how was she gonna tell Noah? He loved her just as much as Emily had, and now there would be so much pain, so much loss in the barn. She couldn't even comprehend her thoughts, her feelings, any sense of reality. She just couldn't stop crying, which, after about three hours, had turned into blankly staring at the wall, the mare's body beside her, her tears still streaming plentifully down her face, just silently now. She didn't want to be here, but she didn't want to be anywhere else. There was nothing she could do to recover from this, and she knew it. She would never get past this dark time in her life.

(I mean how do you follow that? ;-; This is where it allll ends xD )

Timothy Blue / EI / Dew Day / M: Tristan,Anyone around Mya's Stall.

Before the crack of dawn, the blonde had fumbled around excitedly in the dark to change into his riding gear before jogging his way down to the barn. The whole time he had rather nonchalantly just crunched his way through an apple - The main rule of bootcamp was breakfast and exercise. At the same time if possible. At least this was what Tim was telling himself as he had begun to regret the lap of the closest paddock fenceline, arms swaying rythmnically at his sides.

After another 10 minutes of mental scolding,he returned to the barn, tacking up the excitable bay gelding who's coat still seemed to gleam under the scarce light of sunrise. Before long the pair were out, beginning their morning warm ups,as was a regular routine now.No let ups - Certainly no breaks.

**

It must have been coming close to midday when the couple returned into the yard, the blood bay gleaming with a healthy covering of damp and Tim seeming to have been worked out too.His arms ached, god knows they ached. And as the blonde neared the aisle,he now realised with a huff it hadnt seemed to have done much.Yes,He felt more relaxed and settled - But Dew seemed another story.Dew was absolutely fizzing still beneath him, snatching at the bit and shifting uneasily like a rocket about to shoot off.

That was when he noticed the Vet's truck leaving. And the general quietness of the Centre. And the absense of all the bustling people. He had to glance to his watch momentarily, deep in thought before leather being ripped through his fingers brought him back.

"Dew!"

He hissed, stumbling forwards to regain control of the uneasy gelding, who was snorting and prancing to get to his stall.Tim was just about to scold the gelding - Just about to feel a little relief at how his mount had seemingly settled before he saw a familiar face that totally made him freeze.

He looked distraught, his usually indifferent features plauged by guilt and sadness. It was in a moment Tim understood why Tristan seemed so unlike him,the sunken nature of his eyes giving him insight into what he presumed had happened as it pieced together. Why Dew was so on edge - Could he smell it in the air?

"Tristan!.."

His voice had begun loud, welcoming before drifting into almost a whisper as his features became clearer. It was almost a fear to even ask the question.

**

After practically just tossing his gelding into his stall,to which he would have quietened down if not for the crazy pace of his owner's heart racing, Tim had completely struggled not to run to the stable across the yard. His throat tightened as he got to the door, reluctant to look over before a little morbid curiosity took over. The sight took a few minutes to register, the blonde not even fully seeing the figure lay curled up in the cold straw bedding.

He was Speechless - Breathless. Why had he come back?Did Satan enjoy hiding in his shadow ; Following his every move? With this he just stood.Just looking at the lifeless mare.Over and over with unbelieving eyes, welled eyes.Eventually he shifts his weight away, taking a few steps back and finding his way back to Dew's stall and messing his fingers - That apparently couldn't function now - around to try and untack him.Part of him was trying despairatley to focus on his shock at how the bay had refrained from destroying his tack.It was new after all - Having been destroyed not too long ago..

Astrid Elliot | 27 | XC | Bjorn | Open

Astrid had woken up a little later and was surprised to see she didn't have a roommate. She didn't disagree with this idea as Astrid was more of an introvert. She climbed out of bed and unmade it quickly before making the bottom bed.

Astrid got changed into her riding gear and did her black hair into a high pony. She slipped on her riding boots and made her way down to the kitchen where she was hoping they'd have some gluten free options. She found the special bread then stuck it in the toaster before scanning the various spreads and then choosing butter. Astrid finished her breakfast and then headed out to where Bjorn was, her small feet causing small thud noises against the gravel.

Everything was quieter than usual and there seemed to be a lot of saddness around but Astrid couldn't work out why. She made her way to her buckskin stallions stall and smiled as she saw his bulky head appear over the door. She gave him a quick scratch under the forelock and noticed a man struggling with untacking his horse. Astrid wanted to help him but had to focus on Bjorn a lot more. She pulled out his soft brush and gave his sootied body a quick brush down before pulling out their tack. She tacked the stallion up slowly, keeping one hand on his neck whenever she could. Being young Bjorn could still have some tendencies to lash out at random times.

I dunno where Cam is now Tangle so just throw him in wherever :)

Dajana | SJCT | Open

Dajana felt the mare's stride lengthen as she flew well over another of the small 2'3 fences set in the outdoor arena, landing with a thud and a series of small bucks. The girl giggled, her seat remaining soft and smooth, unwilling to compromise to the mare's reckless behavior. In fact, she enjoyed it. Pulling the mare back to a walk, she looked back to the fences, creating a small course in her mind for the mare to venture over before they called it quits on ring work. She thought she'd go for a hack and get a proper tour of the place after the hack, but had yet to discover if that was acceptable or not--she hadn't seen anyone come or go from the barn much that day, which was pretty peculiar. Though, she hardly spoke good English, so it was hard to understand what was going on anyways.

Pressing her heels down and compressing her core, Dajana looked up and cued for the canter, the mare's huge stride enveloping her as she gripped the tack seamlessly, guiding her towards a diagonal oxer and sitting back, unwilling to let the mare get more high-strung than she already was innately.

Samantha Starr / Eventing / Mickey / M:

Typical.

She always found herself dressed up and having put the effort in for everyone to be off somewhere else.Sam muttered to herself loud enough for anyone close to hear a little something about them still lazing around in bed - As if she hadnt emerged from the dorms at 11 - as she continued her pace toward the barn, nose wrinkled in distaste.

When she arrived, the news didnt get any better for the superstar wannabe. With a huff,Sam glanced to the horse nickering to her gently with delight. It was hard to believe she even owned Mickey, the platinum blonde having no sentimental value in another of her items. The chestnut was a totally different story, never loosing hope in his rider to one day see him properly. He just hoped she might give him a little love - but then to him any interaction seemed like a whirlwind of affection.

"Hello?"

Sam's shrill voice had called along the corridors, the word seeming to change from a question more so to a demand.Where were her stable hands? Was she really expected to tack up the horse herself?

She stood for a few moments, having given up on finding a stable hand to work for her in awe, just staring at Mickey. His eyes with soft, hopeful and a little exciteable - the gelding knew why it was so dreary despite his owner's oblvious nature and so was reassured by her presence.Sam's eyes were full of bewilderment, eyebrows furrowed a little. He was filthy - What was she supposed to do about that?

With this she marched her way to the tackroom, almost walking past the door in her angered haste. It was a similar story once she got inside, staring at the leather for a while, Never realising how many pieces of tack she had.Selecting an odd collection of tack, she stumbles her way out looking rather funny in her state - not the look she was going for.Sam drops them in a heap with an audible thud beside the door, looking at the cluster. She didnt know they didnt match whatsoever, having picked up her jumping bridle, dressage saddle and Cross-Country wraps. But she gives a satisfied huff - They looked pretty together so they must be a collection.

Now,about 45 minutes after she had left the house, she was working her way slowly over the gelding's body.Mickey stood like a saint as his rider brushed him half-heartedly,hardly finching as she tossed the tail brush along the aisle - It bouncing and skidding along the concrete and squealing a little frustrated,

"This brush isnt even getting you clean!"

(WhO WaNtS To bE A StAbLe HaNd? And help this hopeless little one out xD Slide someone in here please *Prays*)

Timothy Blue / EI / DewDay / M: Astrid, Open.
After a while of trying, the blonde's mindset had changed quite a bit - the presence of his mount having a calming effect. He had exchanged no words,or glances or embraces with the gelding as he would have done with Boomer - the longing to just get into a routine allowing him to work around Dew,removing his tack delicately and working over his body to return the sheen to his coat.Once he was done, his blood bay was clearly obvious if it wasnt before.
Tim exited the stable quietly, noticing someone a little futher down the aisle working hard at cleaning and tacking her buckskin. He stood and watched for a while,a little in thought and a little just taking in how she went about tacking him up.A stallion - He mused, taking in his frame and stance.

Aria|W|Diablo|M: Samantha

The brunette woke up groggy and in a somewhat grumpy mood. Getting a cup of coffee, she began to find humans somewhat less annoying. Walking down to the barn with a sweatshirt, joggers, and riding boots thrown on, travel mug in hand, she made her way to Ruby's stall. The cremello barely acknowledged her, and Aria sighed. Ruby had to go back hone to help with a younger student. So Aria was stuck with only Diablo. Grabbing the mare's halter and lead, Aria tipped back the last dregs of her coffee before clipping the lead on Ruby.

Making her way down the barn aisle, Aria looked at each of the horses, hsppily munching away on their grain. Peeking into the next stall, Aria saw a girl with a very nice looking horse who clearly had no clue what she was doing. Noticing the jumble of tack on the floor, she walked closer toward the stall. Wincing as the blonde used the wrong brush on the horse' s coat, Aria picked up the right brushand held it out. "Hey. You know that's the wrong brush, right?"

Dash|NH/SJ| Ricki|M: Jay, Kholo

Grabbing his brother's hand as Jay helped him out of the car, Dash looked around, happy to be back in a place where he belonged. The doctors had cleared him to leave, as miraculously his only external damage was a cut up face and a broken arm. Making their way towards the barn, Dash smiled and thanked his brother for everything Jay had done while Dash was confined to a hospital bed. They continued forward, and Dash finally saw his mare again. She whinnied at him, happy to see him return. Sniffing curiously at his cast, he smiled at her confused snort. Looking up, he saw the familiar figure of Kholo coming down the barn What was he going to tell her? He was pretty much dead weight, as he couldnt do any difficult riding. Face flushing he turned back to Ricki, stroking her ears to calm himself down.

Cameron Fairfield | 19 | SJ | Lucifer | Dajana

Be-beep. Be-beep. Groaning, Cam rolled over to slam the shrill alarm into silence. Was it that time already? Sitting up with a wide yawn, he squinted his eyes at the light which was already streaming through the thin white curtains. He had forgotten it was summer here.

Going about his morning ritual, Cam made no attempt to let his roommate sleep in. His dark boots clunked on the wooden flooring, the loud bang resounding in the small room. Throwing on a clean green-blue t-shirt, he ran a brush through his hair before leaving the room with a slam of the door.

He walked confidently to the tackroom, glancing at the schedule for the day before heaving his jumping saddle off its rack. The neat leather bridle followed quickly, slung carelessly over the saddle. Cam picked up a grooming box and left to tack up Stardust.

Strolling to her stall, he tacked her up idly, taking his time comfortably. He led her out to the yard once he eventually finished, planning on doing some jumps in the arena.

Upon arrival, though, it became clear that it was already in use. Cam watched hungrily as a petite dark-haired girl cleared the jumps stylishly, her mare obviously high-strung and volatile. An admiring smile pricked at his lips, replacing the previously teasing grin. Knotting Stardust's reins on the fence loosely, he waved at the rider. "Hey!" he called, trying to catch her attention.
