01:48:18 Void Malign Did a month at a HIV clinic and saw the daily schedule for all the MDs. From 9-5pm, they saw a patient every 30 minutes with the exception of an hour lunch break. |
01:47:07 Leaf Strawberry is evidently not supposed to be up and I accidentally got her>.< |
01:44:59 Ven I worked for an orthopedic surgery group and these doctors were seeing 30 patients a day. That's not realistic for quality care |
01:43:44 Ven I'm going to blame the system before I blame individual providers |
01:43:12 Ven The mistake made in my evaluation by a maternal fetal specialist in 2018 was, I'm sure, due to the med staff being overworked. It was a three hour wait to get into the appointment and it was rushed, which ended up in my son's size being miscalculated and I was cleared for natural delivery (which failed) |

01:10:29 @Granny, there are a lot of checks in place to help prevent accidents, many of which patients find annoying. I'm sorry about your mother though. |
01:07:17 Granny C Revel - you would think, the health related fields would be more careful, since peoples wellbeing depends on it. To this day, I believe that my own mothers death was due to some asshat giving her the wrong meds. (there were 2 women with the same first name ) |
01:06:19 Crowley When you go to browse tier 1 arts...and they are all full or closed... |
01:00:32 Green|Gren|Grenlin 12:58:00 @Granny, I get it. I am not the biggest fan of doctors because too many have shrugged off my chronic conditions and refused to provide help. |
12:57:39 Void Malign Then I suppose you do everything yourself? Mistakes happen in every field. |

Jay Hernandez | 21 | Maria, Dash Jay sat in the empty waiting room, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as he swallowed sob after sob after sob. He couldn't, mustn't cry. He wasn't hit by a car, Dash was. It shouldn't hurt this much. Hiding yet another tear, he brushed it off quiclly before it laid a path on his face. He must be strong, if only on the outside. Inside, he'd long since realized it was a losing battle. Looking up as footsteps entered the room, his heart almost broke in two as he saw their mother. His mother. Their mother. She seemed so strong, so brave. Jay simply collapsed into her and held on as he released any sob, any fear he had been holding in for too long. Slowly, his chest slowed and his eyes slowly dried, although they were still red. He let go of Maria, sitting back into his own chair. "Como es Padre?" he asked softly, his voice low. (Eek sorry, I've been using Google Translate for this >_<

Emalee Sanders | 24 | XC/D | Open Em finished up with Witch when she heard a loud car horn that oddly sounded like the distinct one of her mothers truck. She headed out to the front of the stables and was pulled into a hug by a shorter blonde woman. `` Happy just cause!`` The older woman cheered. Emalee hugged her tightly then backed off slightly. `` Mother, what are you doing here?`` She asked, genuinely shocked. `` I'm here to drop something off. `` She told Emalee then gave the stainless steel horse trailer a pat. A loud neigh could be heard from inside. Emalee perked up immediately and opened the trailer enthusiatically. Standing there was a blue roan gelding with solid black head and legs. Emalee stepped inside the trailer and ran a hand down the geldings neck, brushing over the uneven roaning pattern.

Sandra Proudstorm | 18 | Show Jumper | Moonstone River "Silver" | School Horse: N/A | M: Open -Sandra would be in the Jumping arena by herself with her mare as they centered around the arena a bit before turning the dapple grey mare towards a low jump which she easily cleared. Sandra completely trusts Silver while Silver completely trusts her rider in return as they head for a medium jump this time, the young woman timed the mare's take off just right as the Holsteiner mare cleared the jump even though she almost knocked a pole over when one of her back hooves lightly tapped the pole, once they landed, they kept going as they went to the next jump- Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare "Prince" and Espresso Silhouette "Mystery" | School Horse: WO Descendants Of Khan "Khan" | M: Liz, Cam, Aria, Open -Heather lead the large old Hanoverian gelding into the arena as she looked around a bit, both in their western outfits as Prince looked around a bit, his ears clearly perked forward in interest of what they're doing as the large gelding let out a loud blow from his nostrils. Even though he wasn't a quarter horse, he was still always ready to work. Heather gently patted the gelding's neck before hoisting herself up onto the western saddle that sat comfortably on the gentle giant's back-

T'sani Mzi | 29 | Zeus & Witch | R/XC | Emalee After grooming Zeus thoroughly, T'sani led the gelding out of the barn. Zeus' hooves clip-clopped loudly on the cobbled yard as T'sani guided him towards the middle, halting him gently. He swung on bareback, having purposefully kept his helmet on. Clucking the bay on softly, he used the lead rope to guide him in the direction of the pastures. The scene was idyllic, the clouds of the morning moving away into light cirrus clouds. Arriving at the pasture, T'sani opened the gate at a stretch and rode in. Dismounting quickly, he let Zeus go, giving him a few minutes of playtime before calling him back. The gelding came slightly moodily, irritated at being interrupted so quickly. Picking up the lead, he began to Join-up with Zeus, chasing him in a large circle. A bead of sweat appeared ln his forehead as he hit the rope on the ground to get the horse moving again. "Come, ha!" He made a guttural sound in his throat, speeding Zeus into a canter once more. Watching him intently, T'sani slowed the gelding after a time and stopped completely, turning his back to Zeus. The bay took a small step, before swivelling on his hind legs and cantering away. Sighing, T'sani turned around to pick up the rope once more. Thos was going to take a long time.

Please say if you need a post from me :) Kholo is coming in a sec Cameron Fairfield | 19 | Lucifer | Liz, Aria, Heather Cam attempted to follow the lithe instructor's directions, his amiable face cocked to one side. His gaze was relaxed, a little tol relaxed, perhaps. Stopping suddenly from an ambling trot, Floyd reached down to take a savage bite from some grass just outside of the arena. The halt unbalanced Cam, making him slither to the ground for the second time that lesson. He looked up from the ground to see Heather enter the arena. "Hey Heather!" he greeted, completely unabashed at being caught lying on the floor. "How are ya?" He stood up slowly, taking his time as he dusted the sand off his back.

Emalee Sanders | 24 | XC/D | Open Em untied the lead rope and led the gelding out of the small trailer. `` He's Warmblood x Thoroughbred Em. I thought he would match your sports.`` Her mother told her. Emalee quickly let go of the lead, made sure he would stay then hugged her mother tightly. `` What is his name?`` Em asked. `` Sacrificial Entitlement, Scar for short.`` Em hugged her mother tighter. `` Thanks so much.`` Emalee exclaimed. She retook the geldings lead rope in her hand and took him into the stables. There was an empty stall which she would inform Kholo about later which would be enough for Scar at the time being. The gelding was led into the stall and he watched the blonde walk off with his brown eyes. Emalee quickly gathered his various pieces of tack and placed them on the folding tack rack before pulling his black blanket over his speckled body. Em was extremely happy and hugged her mother once more, this time tears brimming her eyes. `` Mum, how did you get him?`` She asked. Her mother just shook her head. `` My friend passed away and her horse needed a new home.`` The older blonde informed the younger blonde.

Kholo Mzi | 33 | Glory / Gangster | NH&D | Heather, Cam, Liz, Aria Kholo nodded praisingly at Heather's clothing, before slipping into a nearby stall. It was empty, despite the nameplate that clearly read, "Dancing Sky 'Floyd'". Kholo swallowed a giggle. "Bet I can tell you who's behind this," she called to the brunette, a chuckle escaping her lips. "None other than Cam, king of everything. According to himself, at least." She stifled another giggle as she vaulted over the wall separating the stalls. The dozy mare within started, pausing from the hay she was munching. "Easy, Nikita," Kholo murmured, ducking under her belly. "Just me, see." She led out the strawberry roan, using her forelock as a makeshift lead. The mare followed lazily, her tail swishing slowly. Kholo quickly tacked her up, throwing on a modernised Wstern saddle atop a quilted saddle blanket. She slipped the hackamore on Nikki's head, the bitless bridle going on easily. Mounting easily on the 14.3 mare, she nudged her into a peppy walk, the pair responding fairly well. They entered the arena quickly, arriving just in time to watch the Aussie slide off his well-trained cow pony and fall in the sand. Kholo couldn't restrain the laugh that overtook her. Trust Cameron to fall off as soon as you take away a saddle. "Enjoying Western, I see?" she asked teasingly, halting just beside. He responded with a well-earned glare. "Yes, actually," he replied, failing to hold his scowl for long. His face split into a goodnatured smile. "I borrowed Floyd, by the way," he said matter-of-factly, as if he had been given permission to ride whichever horse he wanted in the barns. Kholo resisted a rebuke, opting instead for an eyeroll. "I notkced," she said dryly, her eyebrows arched. Turning away from the blonde, she guided Nikki to Liz. "Liz, you'll probably have to put more work into me than all of your students combined," she joked. "I'm English through and through. At least Nikki knows more than me, don't you girl?" She patted the mare.

Emalee Sanders | 24 | XC/D | Open Em felt intrigued to test out what the gelding had. Currently the only lesson on was a Western Lesson. Emalee prayed that it was open to newbies. She quickly waved goodbye to her mother who had closed the trailer and climbed back into the raised truck. Emalee turned her attention back to the gelding which she had just rugged up. Em took the blanket off and replaced it with their Neoprene saddle pad and their western saddle. Emalee had been informed that the gelding didn't require a bit but thought that it would be best to use a lighter one to get the feel of him. Once the gelding was tacked up Em removed her jacket and readjusted her t-shirt before leading the gelding out then mounting him. She got up with little difficulty despite him standing at 16.3 hands. Once she was ready and in the saddle she nudged the gelding into a walk and they headed towards the filled arena. Once inside she cleared her throat and waved gently. `` Room for one more?`` Emalee would ask quietly, her slightly nervousness kicking in.

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare "Prince" and Espresso Silhouette "Mystery" | School Horse: WO Descendants Of Khan "Khan" | M: Liz, Cam, Aria, Emalee, Open -Heather looked over at Cam before tipping her hat down to him a bit in greeting as Prince gently pawed at the arena ground a bit, the large gelding was ready to go as he playfully bobs his head up and down a little. She looked over at Liz who she assumed was the instructor and Aria who she assumed was one of the other students then she looked back when she heard Kholo's voice, listening to the older woman talk to the other woman then she nudged Prince to a walk to go over where Cam is before she gently halted him- "How's the weather down there?" -she jokingly said with bit of a smile-

Liz|W|Giant and Shadow|M: Western lesson peeps Smiling as everyone came in, Liz flicked Giant's reins a little to keep the gelding awake. As Kholo finished talking, Liz gave a small chuckle."Then I hope you dont mind if I treat you as a student." Bringing her fingers to her lips, she let out a shrill whistle that caught everyone's attention. Squeezing Giant's sides she distanced herself from Kholo. Using a mixture of neck reining and leg work, she and the gelding did a very swift tight turn that would've had reining fans gasping. " Hello everyone! I dont know all of you and you dont know me. Im Liz Farrow and Im a Western instructor. I specialize in barrels and reining, but I do a little bit of everything. Now, I am always willing to teach regardless of what your main discipine is. I can see that almost l of you are non-western riders.. The first thing we'll be working on is neck reining as well as gaits. You should be able to perform a lope and jog on the barrels by the time we're done here." After demonstrating the prrpeer way of neck reining, Liz directed the group too form a line around the arena. "We're going to do some light jogging and loping. When you feel the trot, I want you to slow your horse down so they are still at a slow trot. You should be able to sit a jog."
