Dash|SJ|M: Jay, Judea " Alright, let's see what you can do. Don't bring her above a trot though, please." The paint mare snorted at him, and earned herself a small chuckle. As Dash smiled at Judea's confidece, he heard Jay's remark and turned to see he'd yet agan set off his brother's temper. Even worse, he was taking it out on Victory, who was quite possibly the sweetest horse Dash had ever met. Walking over to the pair, he took a hold of the side of Victory's bridle so he'd stop. Looking up at his brother, he had concern laced across his face. "Jay. I'm sorry I said that. Be mad at me. But please don't take it out on a horse who doesnt deserve your anger. Curse me out all you like, do what you need. I wronged you. But leave Victory out of this." Stroking the gelding's nose, he heard a soft low nicker and looked back up for his brother's response. Aria|W|Diablo|M: Erin, Liz, Cam Aria had finished grooming Diablo and tacked him up, and was leading the dun towards the arena when she heard an unhappy horse sound. Urging Diablo to go faster, she almost ran into a boy in a blue sweatshirt. He was clearly not one for social interaction, so Aria simply voiced a hello and continued on her way. Reaching what seemed to be the source of the noise, she saw nothing out of the ordinary and shrugged, continuing towards the arena. Once there, she paced Diablo's saddle on the ground a found a box in the corner that would suit the need for a mounting block. Swining herself onto the dun, she clicked with her tongue, pleased to see that he responded. Bringing him to a jog, she made her way to her aunt and the man she was taking to. "Hey! What're we doing?"

T'sani Mzi | 29 | R/XC | Emalee T'sani led the woman down a long passage, finally halting at a dark oaken door with the gilt number 'R12' emblazoned on the hard wood. He opened the door slowly, creaking loudly. "You'll be sharing this room with Emily Lachlan-Blount, a former returning student. Cupboards are halved, a desk each." He gestured to the dark room, blinds still closed. "She's due to arrive tomorrow." Allowing Emalee in, he began to speak again. "So. Would you prefer to spend the afternoon settling in, or can I offer you a private lesson? Completely up to you."

Emalee Sanders| 24 | XC/D | T'Sani She looked around the room. It was small but it would be fine. Emalee liked the look of the room and felt it would be a place she spent many of her hours in. Em smiled gently. `` The room looks nice. A lesson would be nice although.. I don't quite have a horse.`` She said quietly. `` I haven't owned my own for a few years..`` Edited at April 5, 2020 01:33 AM by ~ Hades ~

T'sani Mzi | 29 | R/XC | Emalee T'sani smiled kindly. "Ach, you can borrow one of mine. Come one, we'd better get going." He exited the room, slowing down his gait purposefully. "Trail ride or school?" he asked goodnaturedly, unconsciously slipping out of his instructor mode. He often did that with people closer to his age, making it both easier and harder to teach at the same time. They entered the barn, the familiar scent of horses filling his lungs. It was times like these that he forgot why he ever turned his back on horses for a time.

Emalee Sanders| 24| XC/D| T'Sani Em followed behind him. `` I used to do both. We would take weekly lessons on cross country. But then poor old Askii got sick and we had to put her down.`` Em told him. Emalee smiled softly as they walked into the barn, the smell of woodchips and horse filled the air. Many pretty looking horses filled the stalls. She slowed her pace, making sure she could look at each and every one.

T'sani Mzi | 29 | R/XC | Emalee T'sani felt the pain in her words, but didn't press her about 'Askii'. It seemed like a sore point for her, and bad memories weren't exactly good getting to know each other material. If she felt like sharing, she could, but he wouldn't force it. "Trail ride it is then." He nipped off to the nearby tackroom to fetch the tack, emerging with a saddle in each arm and bridles slung over his shoulders. Dumping them carefully on the ground, he called to Emalee, "You see that bay gelding in the stall nearby you. That's Zeus, you'll be riding him." He led out a striking black mare, the lead hanging loosely. After giving Witch a quick once-over with a brush, he slung the Bates saddle over her muscular back. Cinching the girth, he quickly ran down the stirrups. The Hanoverian mare took the snaffle bit gently, her dark neck arching. T'sani glanced over at Emalee. "Ready when you are."

Emalee Sanders| 24 | XC/D | T'Sani Em carried the tack into the geldings stall and tacked him up and led him out of his stall. Emalee gave Zeus a quick pat and tightened the saddle. Emalee led Zeus out of the stables and mounted him. Zeus shifted slightly, getting used to the different amount of weight in the saddle. The bay whinnied happily and followed after the Hanoverian that harboured T'Sani on her back. `` So where are we headed?`` Emalee asked excitedly. She liked the feel of him under her. It was almost natural.

Thanks :) Kholo Mzi | 33 | NH/D | Heather A faint smile pricked at Kholo's lips as Mystery rummaged in her pockets. "Nah girl," she said gently, kissing her nose as she nudged her away. "It's rude, kay?" She froze slightly as Heather began to speak. Stroking the mare absently, she stayed completely silent while the brunette spoke. The air seemed to cool in the pause between Heather's words while she decided what to say in reply. Her stature loosening naturally for once, she began to speak. "As you may have noticed, I was a bit irritated at first." Her laugh echoed in the stall. "Well, a bit might be an understatement. To be frank, I was fuming." She paused to clear her throat. "But I completely understand why you did what you did. It makes sense, but I can get a bit hotheaded at times," she confessed easily. "Let's put that behind us, 'kay?" Kholo nudged Mystery away again goodnaturedly. "Ach, I told you I don't have treats!"
