She looked over at Noah and the other two and nervously rubbed the back of her neck gently, knowing that they'll have to find out sooner or later- "Well um" -she started to speak- "I'm going away for a few days, I got accepted to compete at the 2020 Land Rover 3 day Eventing Olympic championships but um" -she hesitantly paused, trying to think of what to say next- |

Katrina | Tucker, Fuente, Annie | Keenan, Open . Katrina shrugged her puffy black jacket closer to her thin frame as she marched up the paved driveway, eager to reunite with both her client's horses and one of her closest childhood friends. Keenan's family, the Kellisons, took her in for an international exchange student program when she was 16, as well as giving her a soft place to land when she initially moved to the U.S. from Spain. Despite an interesting dynamic to their friendship, the pair proved to be very close, enduring friends, and Katrina couldn't miss the opportunity to work alongside him when she recieved his inquiry. . After spotting the man she was looking for, Katrina gave a bright beaming smile, exchanging humorous remarks with her friend. He wrapped her in a tight hug, making his usual remarks about how short she was, before leading her into the barn to see the horses. All was right with the world, and, just for a moment, she forgot about everything that was wrong in hers. |

Liz|W+BR|M: Tristan, Heather, Erin, Noah, Kholo "Seeing how I just arrived, I'm somewhere by the entrance. I'm sorry if this annoys you, but you're the only friend I have around here. Or acquaintance at least." Mumbling the last part under her breath, she decided to take the decision to make Shadow's halter and lead into a makeshift bridle. Using the hood of her truck as a mounting block, she easily got herself onto the gelding's back. "I'll just take a look around. Clearly you must be busy as is Kholo. Perhaps I'll see you later." Hanging up, Liz nudged Shadow up into an easy jog, locking the truck behind her. She noticed a larger building that seemed to house an arena of some sort and decided to investigate. Shadow snorted as they entered the arena, getting antsy, thinking they were about to start some sort of routine. Stilling the impatient gelding, Liz noticed people at the other end and called out. "Is there someone named Kholo down there at all?" |

Erin | 19 | D | M: Kholo, Noah, Heather, Liz, Open Turning his head to look up at Noah, Erin audibly released a shaky, nervous breath, giving the younger guy a faint smile of familiarity. Although the kid clearly had a never ending stream of spoken thoughts, he was the only person that the anxious teen knew a little there. Something was better than nothing in giving him some sense of security, at least. Somewhat attempting to hide his face, he took the excuse of Zues' bored look to turn away and get the equine's attention with a couple pets on the neck. Realizing that he should be atop the gelding, Erin shifted back near the saddle and dropped the stirrup down, thinking of mounting but getting cut off in that thought by the response of a nearby woman-- Heather, as Noah had called her. L-Land Rover..? People at this place are -already- doing -that- kind of thing?! Erin thought tensely, freezing up as his mind went wild with worrying hypotheticals. In no way did he believe that he could get anywhere near matching that, despite the fact that similar things were the stated goal of the equestrian center. Not long after, he was shook into reality by the call of someone at the other end of the arena. Resisting trembling, his dark gaze shot in the direction of the voice, not picking up on what it had said. Er.. Focus! He silently shouted to himself. Forcing himself to look back at Zues, he took a deep breath to try calming down, not wanting to translate fear to the equine, then climbed up into the saddle, dropping the other stirrup from there. |

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare & Espresso Silhouette | M: Noah, Erin, Kholo, Liz . -Heather let out a sigh, knowing that she had to say it as the large gelding came into her space to keep her relaxed, even though they worked really hard to get this far doesn't mean that she was nervous deep down as butterflies fluttered around in her stomach- "I uh won't be able to take Mystery with me since they don't allow horses that haven't been signed up to go there so I was wondering if anyone would like to take care of her for me while I'm away" -she nervously asked, hoping that she wasn't interrupting the lesson, hoping that she didn't make Kholo unhappy by the sudden news- . -Prince would be standing next to his rider with his head high and ears fully perked forward. His sheer size and muscular build was intimidating to those who didn't know him very well even though he was getting old by the signs of the grey hairs as he was ready for retirement. His dreamy dark brown eyes were very focused on the three in the arena while flicking an ear to a new voice & presents but he has been very well taken cared of by his rider as he lets out a loud snort from his pink nostrils- |

Kholo Mzi | 33 | NH / D & Owner | Erin, Heather, Liz Kholo felt a bolt of shock run through her as Heather spoke. Trying to hold it in, she placed a gentle smile on her face. Looking at Heather, she calmed her voice. "Oh, how exciting!" She made her voice happy, ignoring the anger that was building up inside of her. Why didn't she tell me? She's here on a scholarship, what the heck! I'm her flipping instructor, in case she's forgotten. Eurghh, why did I start a riding school?!! "Are you leaving today?" Kholo said questioningly, staring at Heather. It was hard to miss the coolness in her dark eyes. Hearing yet another voice echo in the indoor arena, Kholo flicked her attention from Heather to the woman. A real smile finally filled her face as she walked over to Liz, holding out her hand in a shake. "Hi, I'm Kholo," she said kindly, her eyes glancing at Shadow for a moment, before returning to her. "You must be Liz, right? Please excuse me for making you wait. I'm just busy with a lesson currently, if that's okay." She smiled at Liz, putting out her hand as Shadow sniffed it tentatively. |

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Eventer | Nightmare & Espresso Silhouette | M: Kholo, Erin, Noah, Liz . -The young woman hesitantly looked down at the ground nervously to avoid eye contact, deep down she wanted to tell them about the good news sooner but she was afraid since she didn't know how they would react- "Um y-yes ma'am I'm leaving today so um sorry for not telling anyone sooner.." -she had nervously stumbled over her words as her shakey hands gripped the lead rope firmly then she started leading Prince over to the trailer to load him up- . -Once she was inside the trailer with her gelding, she let out a shakey breath while putting up a hay net with freshly new hay in it which wasn't long til Prince started eating his hay. She leaned back against the trailer wall while quietly talking to her companion- "They're probably mad at me...I wouldn't blame them, I don't blame Kholo if she's pissed and disappointed in me. I wasn't even thinking correctly because of how scared I was, hiding this was such a bad idea.." -Heather gently leaned against her gelding as she rested her head on her arms, silently scolding herself- "Are we even ready for this..?, like I know that we trained so hard to get to this point but are we really ready.." -The woman could feel her large companion nuzzle her with his muzzle ever so gently as she turned her head to look at Prince- "I'm not even sure if we should come back here, it kinda feel like the old barn that we left as it just feels the same but at least I have you, Mystery, mom, Sandra, and the dogs to be there for me even though both of them are busy with their own lives but it's life, ya know..?" -Heather kinda smiled at her gentle old giant- |

Liz|W+BR|M: Kholo Liz smiled and shook the woman's hand. "Apologies for interrupting your lesson. It was by luck that I found you. What I really need to know is where to put this guy, and more so the logistics of what I'll be doing here. We can definitely talk about it later. For now, I'm going to take Shadow here to a nice quiet area and work his travel jitters out." She pet the black gelding, who stomped a little and huffed, excited to be out of the trailer. "If you have too many students, feel free to send them to me. I always like to work on basics the first day I get to a job, no matter the level of the rider. I'll be in the other arena." Waiting until Kholo nodded in understanding, she turned Shadow in a beautiful tight turn, one which he had clearly been trained for, and let him get a little of his steam out heading to the other arena. Once there, she gave him his reins, the excited gelding going into a flat-out gallop around the arena. |

Savannah Storm | 17 | Avatar | E | Aria, Kholo, lesson peeps "Savannah Storm." The teen was brusk; after grooming quickly, she threw on the worn dressage saddle and tightened the girth. She echoed no sign of listening to Aria, apart from the fact that she replied. "We should be in the arena right now." Leading Mozart otu of the stall, she ran down the stirrups and hopped on. "You should have a schoolhorse. It says who in the tackroom." With that, Savannah clucked Mozart into an extended walk and rode to the arena, with nothing more than a curt nod to Aria. Entering the indoor ring, she fell behind the new student as they warmed up. Savannah let the piebald walk loosely, her hands gentle but firm. |

Cameron Fairfield | 19 | SJ | Lesson peeps After searching for his schoolhorse in the numerous barns, Cam finally found Stardust. He led out the pretty palomino, the mare following obediently. He quickly tacked up, using his spare Bates saddle and new black numnah. Stardusts tood still, glancing back every now and then to check if Cam was okay. After putting on the bridle, Cam led the mare to the arena, his head held high. He might be late, but he would not be self-conscious. Quickly halting Stardust, he placed his foot in the shiny stirrup and hopped on, hsi tall figure dwalfing the small mare. |
