Cyrus groaned a little. "I don't know! Shadows! I'll lean on the I never look up excuse then." He sounded the slightest bit amused as the pride camp came into view.

Farleap nodded as one of the lioness's had just finished telling a story "Oh wow that would of been fun" She said licking her paw "I could never even imagine LEAVING the Sister's Step Pride let alone HUNT a alligator! Pfft" She screwed her face as the lioness walked away, she laid back down, than raised her head when she saw Cyrus and Twilin, she dragged herself to her paws and walked over a little "So, how did it go?" Cyrus shook his mane slightly and glanced up as Farleap spoke. "I agree with Twilin. Nobody died, I didn't do anything stupid, he didn't answer so sarcastically I blew my top, and we figured something out. I'd consider it a big win." He answered with a small snort, heading straight to the sun bathed walk to lay down with a sigh of relief. +++ Ares stared at the water for a long while, at his marred reflection. The scar across his eye that deemed him half-blind and the new scar across his muzzle fit in well together. He sighed a little and laid down, although still alert.

Farleap smirked at the two "Hmph! Well i'm also glad no one died" She inquired before laying in the spot she stood. When Twilin left Farleap went along too, wanting to make sure everything on the pride's land was ok, she drank some water, her right ear flicked as Twilin looked up "What's wro-" Farleap went dead silent as a rain drop landed on her snout, she shook her head violently and looked in the direction of the pride "Oh no.. I won't make it to the cave in time.. Twilin i NEED to hide in a cave! My fur is soooo pretty today! I don't want it ruined! She squealed (Lol which is different, she never squeals XD) She looked around desperately "Do you know of one nearby?!" She asked firmly with a shutter in her voice, Farleap HATED the rain and how cold she'd get when soaked

Ares shook his mane and let out a small breath, standing and walking away from the reeds. Hunger had started to gnaw at his stomach again, so he set out on a hunt, his head lowered and nostrils flared. Quickly he picked up on the scent of some gazelle, but something didn't smell right. He knew he wasn't fast enough to take one down unless he could surprise them, so he crept low, his eyes alert and ready. As he came upon a high patch of grass the scent of blood grew stronger, then he emerged to see an injured gazelle laying in the grass. It tried to get up but couldn't- it's leg had been shattered. Ares sighed slightly. He couldn't let this gazelle stay in pain. Killing it swiftly, he grabbed it by the neck and dragged it back towards his cave. About 100 yards away he felt a cold, wet drop of rain, then another. It was starting to rain. It'd be good for the grass. Unbothered, Ares finished the trek and dropped the meat inside his rather warm, well sheltered cave.

Slowly, more rain fell, getting faster. Farleap quickly grew impatient and ran towards a huge rock, curling up under the dint in the rock. She sighed dramatically at the fact she left the warmth of the pride and the lionesses cave, she hoped everyone was warm and dry in the caves. But she refused to leave this small dry spot until the stopped, Farleap watched as the droplets fell across the land, happy that it finally rained "You were right... Somehow" the lioness muttered quietly
